Abstract

On a textile sling band (1) the areas of wear, especially the end loops, are provided with reinforcing pieces (9) to protect against abrasion. The reinforcing piece (9) is a textile welt that at least partially covers the surface of the sling band (1) across the width (10) of the band. The textile welt is a fabric strip with contiguous zones (14, 15, 18, 19) of differing wear resistance across the width (10) of the band or in the weft direction. The zones of greater wear resistance (14, 15) cover the edges and/or flat sides of the sling band (1) and the zones (18, 19) of lesser wear resistance are firmly attached to the sling band (1).

Description

The invention relates to a textile lifting sling according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such lifting straps are the subject of DIN 61360, March 1986, Part 1 (terms, dimensions, attachment types) and Part 2 (safety requirements and testing) . According to this definition, reinforcements on the lifting sling are additional equipment that is firmly connected to the lifting sling, for example by sewing.

The invention is particularly concerned with such lifting straps as they are in the systematic overview of the lifting strap shapes and designs on page 3 of DIN 61360, part 1, the versions 2N (woven, with reinforcement) and 4N (laid with reinforcement) and the Form B (with loops) are assigned. These reinforcements serve as abrasion protection, particularly in the area of the highly stressed lifting strap areas, e.g. in the end loops.

Conventionally, a band of textile material sewn on in the particularly stressed areas is used as wear protection. For example, it is known to place such a reinforcement strap around the entire lifting strap in the end loop area and to sew it to the lifting strap. Especially with relatively wide lifting straps, the sewn-on reinforcement in the end loop area has the further task of reducing the effective bandwidth to up to 1/3 of the bandwidth in the work surface area. This width reduction in the end loop area is carried out by folding (doubling) the lifting strap with at least its one side edge around an axis running in the longitudinal direction of the strap. In this folded condition, the reinforcement is placed around the end loop area of the lifting strap and sewn to it. As a result, the reinforcement there has the further function of permanently maintaining the bandwidth reduction in the end loop area.

The aforementioned standard prescribes that the same material as the belt strap or other suitable material is used for the reinforcements, particularly in the end loops. It is common to use a belt fabric for the reinforcements, which is connected to the lifting belt as a textile cover.

For a permanent fixation of the reinforcements on the lifting sling, it is expedient that their textile structure in the connection area with the lifting sling is sufficiently stretchable and thus adapted to the lifting sling expansion to be expected in use. However, these requirements for the elasticity of the reinforcing fabric and also the connection with the lifting strap stand in a certain contrast to the function as abrasion protection. A good elasticity and also a good handling of the reinforcement when it is connected to the lifting strap, as well as the avoidance of wrinkling that is harmful in use, also require a limitation of the wall thickness of the reinforcing fabric. Such a wall thickness limitation, however, affects durability and effectiveness as wear protection.

The invention has for its object to provide a lifting strap of the type mentioned with improved abrasion protection in the end loop area and / or in the work surface area. The object is solved by claim 1.

Diese Gestaltungsformen lassen sich einfach innerhalb der in der genannten Norm für die Werkstoffwahl gesetzten Grenzen bewerkstelligen (DIN 61360, März 1986, Teil 2, 2.1 "Werkstoffe").The effect of the subject of the invention can be briefly described as follows. The textile cover used as abrasion protection has in its connection area with the lifting strap the extensibility or flexibility described above as advantageous and thus also a configuration which favors the connection process. Between the connection areas, however, the textile cover is designed in such a way that it can better meet the task of protecting it from abrasion. The necessary, heterogeneous structure of the textile covering is easy to manufacture by being a band fabric with warp threads running in the longitudinal direction of the lifting band. As a result, the zones of different wear resistance located in different band width ranges can be achieved simply by a corresponding choice and arrangement of the warp threads of the band fabric. For example, a greater strip thickness or thickness can be selected in the zones of increased wear resistance by using stronger warp threads or a greater number of warp threads there than in the zones of lower wear resistance, namely in the connection areas. These design forms can be easily accomplished within the limits set in the aforementioned standard for the choice of materials (DIN 61360, March 1986, Part 2, 2.1 "Materials").

Claims 2 and 3 propose sewing to connect the textile support with the lifting strap. The sewing can be carried out in a technically simple manner and ensures a long service life of the connection between the textile cover and the lifting strap.

Due to the seam guide according to claim 3, the stretching properties of the textile cover remain unaffected.

According to claim 6, the textile reinforcement for its connection or seam areas is provided with textile grooves running in the warp direction. The zones designed as fabric grooves are an effective protection of the connection between the textile cover and the lifting strap against damage and destruction. For example, the connecting seams are not destroyed by the mechanical loads on the lifting belt surface due to frictional forces.

The width zones of increased abrasion resistance located outside the textile grooves are positioned in the finished lifting sling in such a way that they form either an edge protector or a surface protector for the stressed surfaces both in the worktop area and in the end loop area.

7 an.The lifting strap 1 shown in FIG. 1 essentially contains its work surface area 4 located between the two end loops 2, 3. At the two ends of the work surface area 4 there is an end loop area 6 and 7 on both sides in the belt longitudinal direction 5.

As far as the lifting strap 1 consists of a woven webbing as a supporting part, the longitudinal direction 5 corresponds to the warp thread direction. As far as the lifting strap - not shown in the figures - is a laid belt strap, the strap longitudinal direction 5 corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the laid scrim.

In the figures, the woven belt strap forming the supporting part of the lifting strap 1 is provided with the reference number 8. The webbing 8 is at least partially covered in the work surface area 4 and / or in the end loop areas 6, 7 by a textile reinforcement 9 serving as abrasion protection. The non-load-bearing reinforcement 9 can completely surround the webbing 8 in the direction of the bandwidth 10 (FIGS. 2a, b). The reinforcement 9 can also be designed such that it only partially surrounds the webbing 8, in particular in the region of its edges 11, 12 (FIGS. 2c, 4). Then there are usually two reinforcements 9 in the respective length range of the lifting strap 1.

The cross section of the webbing 8 is not shown in detail in the figures. This principle therefore applies not only to the design of the lifting sling in the end loop area 6,7 but also in the work surface area 4, where there is generally a larger effective belt strap width than in the end loop area 6,7. Already in the introduction to the description, it was pointed out that in the end loop area 6, 7 an effective reduction in the bandwidth in the direction of the bandwidth 10 is achieved in that the webbing 8 there about at least one of its two edges 11, 12 for a doubling (or Tripling) the effective belt strap is put around.

The reinforcement 9 consists of a belt fabric with zones 14-17 adjacent to one another in the width direction 10 of increased wear resistance. At least on one flank of these zones or between these zones are zones 18, 19 of reduced wear resistance.

The tape fabric used as reinforcement 9 is designed so that its warp threads run in the longitudinal direction 5 of the tape in the sewn state. Accordingly, the weft direction of the textile support corresponds to the width direction 10. The zones 14-17 of increased wear resistance are formed by the fact that warp threads of greater material thickness or in a greater density are present there. The warp threads consist of polyester (= PES) staple fiber or multifilament yarn, an aramid fiber or the like To increase the wear resistance, higher wear-resistant qualities of these materials can also be used for the respective warp thread. It is advantageous if zones 14-17 of increased wear resistance have an increased wall thickness 20 compared to zones 18, 19 of reduced wear resistance. As a result, the zones 18, 19 of reduced wear resistance, in particular in the sewn state, have the shape of a fabric groove, the surfaces 21 of which are recessed relative to the surfaces 22 of the zones 14-17 of increased wall thickness 20. This recessed position serves to protect the connecting seams 23 between the reinforcement 9 as a protective element and the webbing 8 as a supporting element. Even a strong abrasion load on the surfaces 22 of the zones 14-17 of greater wear resistance does not result in any abrasion load on the connecting seams 23. Because of the seam guidance which is targeted in the region of the zones 18, 19 of lower wear resistance, the expansion properties of the reinforcement 9 or of the abrasion protection remain unaffected. The positioning of the different zones 14-19 of the reinforcement 9 in the form of the inevitable relief formation of the surfaces 21,22 is also unmistakable for the person employed in production, so that the configuration of the reinforcement 9 according to the invention implies a sewing instruction to a certain extent. In addition, the reinforcement 9 according to the invention can be bent more easily in the zones 18, 19 of lower wear resistance about an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis 13 of the belt, so that handling in production is not impaired by zones 14-17 of increased wear resistance.

It should be mentioned that the reinforcement 9 according to the invention can also be used with endless lifting straps 1 designed in the form of a loop.

A textile sling band (1) with a reinforcement (9) of the edges (11, 12) and/or surfaces as protection against abrasion, in the form of a textile overlay at least partly covering the circumference of the sling band (1) transversely to the longitudinal direction (5) of the sling band in the loop region (6, 7) and/or in the work surface region (4),
       characterized in that
the textile overlay is a woven strip with zones (14 - 19) with a different wear resistance, lying side by side transversely to the longitudinal direction (5) of the sling band,
    - whose zones (14, 15; 10, 17) with a higher wear resistance cover the edges (11, 12) and/or surfaces of the sling band (1) and
    - whose zones (18, 19) with a lower wear resistance are firmly connected to the sling band (1).
  2. A sling band according to claim 1,
       characterized in that
the zones (18, 19), with a lower wear resistance carry the connecting seams (23) for securing the textile overlay on the sling band (1).
  3. A sling band according to claim 2,
       characterized in that
the connecting seams (23) extend substantially in the longitudinal direction (5) of the sling band.
  4. A sling band according to claim 1,
       characterized in that
the warp threads of the zones (14, 15; 16, 17) with a higher wear resistance consist at least partly of a textile substance different from the warp threads of the zones (18, 19) with a lower wear resistance.
  5. A sling band according to claim 4,
       characterized in that
the warp threads of the zones (14, 15; 16, 17) with a higher wear resistance are at least partly aramide yarns, or particularly wear-resistant polyester yarns, for example, PES-staple fibre yarns.
  6. A sling band according to one of claims 1 to 5,
       characterized in that
the zones (18, 19) with a lower wear resistance are formed as grooves in the woven fabric.
  7. A sling band according to one of the preceding claims,
       characterized in that
the textile overlay extends in the longitudinal direction (5) of the sling band.
  8. A filing band according to one of the preceding claims,
       characterized in that
