Beschreibung description
The invention relates to an electric drive for a work machine, preferably a spinning machine with a frequency converter, which is connected to a power supply, and supplies alternating current to motors with a time-variable feed frequency.
Such a drive is known from international patent application WO 90-07595. The publication states that in the event of a power failure, one of the connected motors in generator operation returns energy to the converter, which means that other power consumers or motors can still be controlled even after the power failure and can be operated in an orderly fashion until all machine components come to a standstill.
Inverters for converting a given AC line voltage into a voltage of variable frequency are offered by numerous manufacturers, whereby these are designed in such a way that if faults occur, they are disconnected from the mains so that no damage occurs in the converter.
However, there are operating states that can be classified as a fault, but do not require the machine to be switched off immediately. This is particularly desirable if an immediate shutdown of a machine from the mains leads to consequential malfunctions in the machine. In a spinning machine, for example, an unconditional shutdown of the electric drive can cause all of the spinning threads to tear, which requires lengthy tying-up work before the machine is started up again.
It is an object of the present invention to provide an electric drive for a work machine, in which a selective switching of the converter is possible depending on the fault. This object is achieved with the features of the independent claim. The dependent claims relate to advantageous developments of the drive.
With an electric drive according to the invention, the susceptibility to malfunction of a working machine is reduced overall.
The invention is described in detail below with reference to the drawing.

Fig. 2 Frequenz- bzw. Drehzahlverläufe über der Zeit für verschiedene Betriebszustände Fig. 2 frequency or speed curves over time for different operating conditions
Fig. 3 is a schematic overview of the drive of a spinning machine.
For the following explanations, a drive for a spinning machine is exemplified. A first and a second motor 16 and 18 are connected to a power supply 36a via a frequency converter 30. The so-called machine power supply 36b is located between the frequency converter 30 and the motors 16 and 18. A controller 32 for the electric drive can be arranged separately from the frequency converter 30 or can be integrated into the latter. The controller 32 is connected to the components of the drive 30, 16, 18, 36a, 36b via a plurality of sensor lines 40 ... 46. The sensor lines can register, for example, an overload of an electrical component, an overtemperature, an undervoltage or a power failure. Overvoltage peaks or short circuits are also possible as further malfunctions, which can also be registered by the controller 32 via sensor lines. The controller 32 and the frequency converter 30 are to be designed such that the power supply to the motors 16, 18 is only interrupted in the event of certain faults, e.g. would lead to the destruction of components of the components. Voltage peaks or short circuits are primarily considered, but not a time-limited or gradually exceeding a threshold value of a component. If a less serious malfunction occurs in the electric drive, the evaluation of the malfunction leads to the control 32 triggering a controlled run-down of the drive. The frequency f of the frequency converter 30 and thus the speeds n of the motors 16 and 18 are reduced according to a predetermined program, wherein energy recuperation of a motor 18 can be provided in favor of supplying other components 16, 32 according to WO 90-07595. A speed curve for orderly running out of the electric drive is composed of curve branches a and b in FIG. 2. This means that in the example of a spinning machine, the speeds of the motors are reduced proportionally and the first motor 16 for driving drafting system shafts 12a, 12b, 12c according to FIG. 3 and the second motor 18 for driving a shaft 20 essentially simultaneously Come to a standstill. The shaft 20 carries several pulleys 24 which, in the case of a ring spinning machine, drive spindles 22 for winding yarn 28, which is supplied by the drafting unit shafts 12a, 12b, 12c, via a belt 26 in each case. If a single frequency converter 30 is provided to supply several motors 16 and 18, they run as synchronous or asynchronous motors with the same frequency. A gear 14 between the first motor 16 and the drafting unit shafts 12a, 12b, 12c provides the necessary speed adjustment.
The controller can take setpoints for lowering the converter frequency from a program memory 34. The controller 32 and the converter 80 can be divided into modules. An evaluation unit 32a analyzes signals from the sensor lines 40... 46, a switching unit 30a on the converter 30 is responsible for the operating state of the frequency converter 3.
In the second operating mode of the electric drive, which provides for immediate shutdown of the frequency converter 30 and the downstream components 16, 18, 32 in the event of an overvoltage or short circuit, the various machine drives can come to a standstill at different times. 2 for the first motor 16, a speed curve according to FIG

Dies ist insbesondere auch bei dem Auftreten von Fehlströmen durch Berührung von elektrischen Komponenten durch Bedienungspersonen erforderlich. the curve branches a, d and for the second motor 18 result in a speed curve according to the curve branches a, c, so that the different motors come to a standstill one after the other. This operating mode can lead to the breakage of all threads in ring spinning machines. On the other hand, danger to persons or damage to the electric drive can be averted if all components are switched off by the control 32 immediately after the occurrence and detection of the fault. This is especially necessary if operating currents occur due to faulty currents caused by touching electrical components.
