Fig. 1 einen gefüllten Spülkasten im Schnitt mit einer Spülkastenvorrichtung in Ruhelage;
Fig. 3 während des Ausströmens des ganzen Wasserinhaltes des Spülkastens.
The invention relates to a toilet flushing device with a water cistern (1), in which the water level is replenished to a certain level after each flushing through a water supply line and a float, and a bell closing the drain opening (11). Such flushing devices are known. It is also known to design the rinsing device so that only part or all of the water content is used as required. For this purpose there are cisterns with two departments.
The object of the invention is to create a toilet flushing device which, depending on its actuation, allows only a part or all of the water content of the cistern to flow out without the need for a cistern with two departments.
The invention solves this problem with a flushing device which has the features of patent claim 1.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in simplified form in the accompanying drawing.
The drawing shows in:
Figure 1 shows a filled cistern in section with a cistern device in the rest position.
Fig. 2 shows the flushing device according to Fig. 1 during the outflow of part of the water content of the cistern
Fig. 3 during the outflow of the entire water content of the cistern.
Fig. 1 shows a cistern 1 in section with the flushing device, of which the bell 2 is shown in section. Not shown are the water supply and the float, which allows water to flow in after a flush until the level N1 is reached, which corresponds to the complete filling of the cistern. In order not to overload the drawing, the device by means of which the operating shaft 3 can be raised is also omitted. Guide elements for the shaft 3 and the bell 2 are also omitted in the drawing. Also for simplification, the sealing rings, which are usually made of soft rubber, are omitted for sealing the bell on the box bottom and for the poppet valve, which will be described later.
The bell 2 has an upper opening 22, which is closed (according to FIG. 1) by a poppet valve 4 which is connected to the actuating shaft 3. The shaft 3 is surrounded by a lifting device 5 with play, the arms 51 of which engage at the bottom with hooks 52 in depressions 21 which are fitted in the wall of the bell.
The cistern 1 has a drain opening 11 at the bottom, which is closed by the bell 2 in the idle state, as shown in FIG. 1.
2 shows the rinsing device when rinsing with a little water, the level N1 falling to the level N2. For this purpose, the actuating stem 3 is raised a small distance h, the poppet valve 4 connected to the stem exposing the upper opening 22 of the bell 2. The water now flows into the bell and through it into the drain opening 11, as indicated by the arrows in FIG. 2. This ensures a gentle rinse that causes little noise. The water level drops to the level N2 determined by the height of the bell. If the actuating shaft 3 is released, the poppet valve rests on the opening 22 and the cistern fills up again to the level N1.
Fig. 3 shows the flushing device when flushing with the entire water supply, the level N1 falling to the bottom of the cistern. This is caused by the fact that the operating shaft is raised further, for example by the distance H. First, the poppet valve 4 is raised, which lifts the bell from its seat 12 at the edge of the outlet opening 11 via the lifting device 5. This allows the cistern to empty itself completely, as indicated by the arrows in FIG. 3.
For the actuation of the flushing device, operating elements that can be actuated from the outside are attached to the cistern cover, not shown. These can take the form of a single two-stage operating lever that holds the operating shaft 3.
As a variant, two operating levers with different strokes can also be attached.
