Abstract

A bottle closure for one-hand operation is made as one common injection moulding of two plastic parts (A, B). The closure part (A) has a dosage dome (1), a sealing collar (2), four yielding legs (3) and a seal ring (4). A strap (5) joins it to the casing part (B). The latter has a female thread (7) on an inner sleeve to fit to the male thread of the bottle, an outer sleeve (6), a sealing area (8) for (4), and a sealing area (9) for (2). The groove (11) creates the space for (5) when both parts (A, B) are joined up. A slight pressure on the dome (1) will create a gap between (2) and (9) so that fluid can be poured out.
