Description
The present invention relates to a knitted fabric.
The present invention has for its object to provide a knitted fabric with thermal properties.
This object is achieved according to the invention with the aid of a knitted fabric according to claim 1.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in further claims.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to drawings. It shows:
1 shows the schematic representation in cross section of a knitted fabric according to the invention with two connected fabrics,
Fig. 2 is a schematic representation of an undershirt made from such a knitted fabric, and
Fig. 3 is a schematic representation of a stitch transfer in such a knitted fabric.
The knitted fabric according to the invention, which can be produced on circular knitting or flat knitting machines of any division, consists of at least two fabrics 1 and 2 lying essentially parallel to one another in the figure, which can be regarded as two separate witnesses or knitted parts, but which are are connected in some points in such a way that, in the corresponding stitches 3, 4, the thread is transferred or transferred from one knitted part 1 to the other 2. The two knitted parts 1, 2 are therefore connected to one another by these meshes 3, 4 in such a way that an insulating air chamber 5 is created between the two, so to speak, which provides the knitted fabric with thermal properties.
The stitch transfers between the fabrics or knitted parts 1 and 2 can take place with or without the formation of a handle, whereby in the first case a fake openwork pattern is preferably formed on the outside of the knitted fabric. A suitable arrangement of the mesh transfers can be used to create a kind of drawing or a pattern effect for aesthetic purposes.
Such a knitted fabric can be tanned or roughened on one or both sides.
The knitted parts can be made with different textile materials, for example the inside made of cotton and the outside made of wool, etc. The same applies to different parts of the same knitted part.
The knitted fabric can be used, for example, in the manufacture or assembly of underwear, stockings, briefs, sporting goods, shirts, blouses, dresses, coats, pijamas, knitted articles and textiles of all kinds.
The undershirt shown in Fig. 2 has an upper part 6, in which a knitted fabric according to the invention is used. In this upper part 6, for example, V-shaped mesh transfers 7 can be seen. The corresponding lower part 8 can be of a conventional type, for example.
The stitch transfer shown enlarged in FIG. 3 has, for example, a thread 9 which is transferred from the knitted part 1 to the knitted part 2.
A knitted fabric with more than two knitted fabric parts 1, 2 can be produced according to the same principle.
