BESCHREIBUNG

DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a blanket convertible into a garment.
It is known from practice to place blankets or towels around the shoulders and neck to protect the body, for example in the manner of a cape like a cape or poncho. A usual cape is usually made up of several parts, while a poncho is made up of a flat, completely closed cap with a hole in the middle for the passage of the head. From US-PS 4 124264 a duvet is known in which closing elements such as push buttons are attached to the longitudinal and transverse edges, so that the duvet can be converted into a sleeping bag-like item of clothing if necessary, leaving only the head and hands uncovered. However, this garment is quite bulky and does not have proper sleeves because these consist only of wide, folded wedges of fabric.
Rather, it is a makeshift covering that is intended for sitting and lying down and, because of its length due to the sleeping bag, can only be worn in the apartment.
The object of the invention is therefore to design a blanket so that it can be easily converted into a wearable garment with a fashionable appearance and with closed front sleeves, so that a garment is made from one piece. According to the invention, this object is achieved in the case of a blanket of the type mentioned at the beginning by means of the Merkamle according to the characterizing part of claim 1.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the incisions are designed somewhat lower than in the direct incisions and are preferably angled, with the end point remaining the same. This requires an adjustment of the auxiliary bar, because the last part on the front sleeve is omitted, since this is cut with it. This training enables the combination of the excipient with a cut food pocket, the edge of the incision can serve as a pocket edge.
The connecting means required for converting the blanket with the straight incision into a garment are preferably provided as divisible zippers. Other connecting means: buttons, snap fasteners, clasps, straps, hooks, rings, eyelets, buckles, Velcro fasteners, etc. can also be used.
By the features of the invention. With these measures, it is possible to convert a travel blanket or corresponding yard goods into a coat or jacket, etc. in just a few minutes if needed suddenly.
Such a garment with cap-like front sleeves looks fashionable and can be worn very well on the street.
Instead of converting a travel blanket into a coat, it is also possible to design yard goods with other dimensions and a different width and length ratio so that they have a shorter lower longitudinal edge as a jacket and longer longitudinal edges and the appropriate material, such as a long dressing gown, bathrobe, evening coat , can be used, but also for camping purposes as a tarpaulin, resp. Weathercoat. Depending on the size and type of material, different uses are possible, both for adults and for children. Thanks to fashionable accessories such as bags, belts, drawstrings, hoods, eyelets, etc., many models can be created, not just one style.
There is also a model available as a cover for a buggy / Wicke1, which can be converted into a body-hugging garment that will later serve the toddler as a nice, warm coat.
This design of the blanket is absolutely environmentally friendly, because there is hardly any waste when cutting, you need a minimum of fabric for such a garment and achieve a maximum of ease of use with little work.
Since the subject of the invention fulfills both but different functions as a blanket or coat, it is very practical as a source of heat because only one object is required.
This new type of blanket is particularly suitable as a space-saving piece of luggage for trips by train, bus, car, hotel, camping, on the beach, also in the house, holiday home, for bike and motorcycle tours, as well as for all emergency aids such as breakdowns, accidents, disasters , Refugee aid, expeditions and in hospitals because it is convertible, small and stackable.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing in one embodiment. The drawing shows schematically:
1 shows the outside of the convertible travel blanket according to the invention,
Fig. 2 shows the inside of the same blanket. On the left the closed incision and on the right the folded incision with the auxiliary parts 3, which are illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4.
3 as a detail: the sectional setup for the auxiliary parts 3
Fig. 4 as a detail: the finished auxiliary part with the incision open on the outside of the ceiling.
Fig. 5 as a detail: according to claim 2 below made closed incision 2c with button closure. Outside of the ceiling.
6 as a detail: representation of the open incision with the modified auxiliary part 20 due to claim 2.
Fig. 7 is the front view of the jacket converted from the ceiling.
For the travel blanket of 150 cm / 120 cm shown in FIG. 1, the longer dimension is taken as the width and the shorter as the length for conversion into a jacket according to FIG. 7. The incisions 2 machined transversely from the edge on both sides between the longitudinal edges 5 and 6 are made here at the jacket length 8 in the middle of the longitudinal edge, whereby an upper part 10 and a lower part 11 of the same size are formed. The lower longitudinal edges would be shorter at 7 for a jacket and correspondingly longer for a bottom jacket at 9. The depth of the incision 2E corresponds at least to the length of a person's forearm.
Under the edged incision edges 2a and 2b on the right is an auxiliary part 3 in the form of an angled strip made of thinner material, on which there are two complementary rows of press studs 3a and 3b just behind the edge, by means of which the incision can be closed again to the original blanket .
On the upper transverse edge 1, there are complementary rows of push buttons 10a with 10b closing the upper part 10 and on the longitudinal edge 6 the push buttons 11a with 1 lb closing the lower part of the jacket.
The dashed lines 13 at the upper corner 12 indicate the zipper elements 1 3a attached to the underside of the ceiling, the placement of which is described in FIG. 3.
2 shows the inside of the same blanket, on the left the closed incision and on the right the folded incision with the angular auxiliary strips 3 attached here, which are illustrated in more detail in FIGS. 3 and 4.
To improve the fit of the jacket, an auxiliary material strip is sewn on the inside of the blanket between the end points 2E, the dashed stitch lines 4 of which are also indicated in FIG. 1, with which the back part can be gathered.
3 shows how the sectional shape 14 of an auxiliary part 3 is to be determined. From the respective corner 12 on the transverse edge 1, the length of the incision 2 goes inwards, which results in point 16. Likewise, one goes down the length along the longitudinal edge 5, which gives the point 1 3b.
Auxiliary lines parallel to 1 and 5 of these two points 16 and 13b determine point 15. From 16 one goes 7 cm to the corner, which results in point 13A. from 13B and 5.5 cm down, making 17. The connection of the points 17-15-16-13A-13B with a rounding at the inner angle forms the cutting pattern of the auxiliary part 3. The line 13 marks the placement of the zipper elements 13a on FIG. 2, namely at A the beginning, at B the end .
4 shows the finished auxiliary part 3, which is made of a thinner material, with the attached zip 13b, the beginning A 1 on the longitudinal edge 6, the end B 1 on the longitudinal edge 5.
Fig. 5 shows the closed angled incision 2c according to claim 2 on the side edge 5, 6, which takes place below the last width as incision 2 and ends angled at end point 2E. A row of buttons 18a at the edge 18 closes the incision with the buttonhole loops 19a at the edge 9.
Fig. 6 shows the open incision according to claim 2 with the underlying auxiliary part 20, which is extended here as a pocket lining and has a rectangular shape. In this cut, the last part of the sleeve is cut and must therefore be replaced at the front, with the edge 19 serving as a pocket edge. The width of the auxiliary material 20 depends on the incision length 2 and the length on the double last width plus the desired pocket depth. The cut pocket lining is stitched directly onto the blanket under the serged edge 19 in such a way that a pocket opening remains free along the straight line.
On the incision edge 18 and on the auxiliary edge 21 there are in each case a row of buttons which, as in claim 1, connects to the upper corner 12, where a buttonhole band 13c is attached in place of the zippers 13a.
Fig. 7 shows under the raised sleeve 22 angular auxiliary strip 3 and shows how the two zipper elements 13 and 13b are joined together, the two beginnings 1 3A and A 1, and the ends 1 3b and B 1 with each other. The other side shows the finished appearance with the formed sleeve 22 of the jacket converted from the blanket. The coat closes at the front with some kind of fastener. The complementary rows of push buttons 10a and 10b are provided on the transverse edge 1, which, when brought together, close the upper part. The lower part closes by means of the rows of push buttons 11 a and 11 b on the longitudinal edges 6.
Instead of the separable zippers and snap fasteners selected in the above exemplary embodiment, other types of closures can also be provided, such as. B. buttons, clasps, hooks, rings, eyelets, buckles, straps and Velcro closures to have with this travel blanket according to the invention at any time - made possible by the conversion elements - well portable, fashionable, preferably warm coat.
