BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a control cabinet for electrical energy distribution systems. Such a control cabinet is e.g. known from the catalog of Weber AG, CH-Emmenbrücke, pages 16.5.1 to 16.5.4 (type SP-E).
With control cabinets of this type, the problem of scratch-free transport arises, especially in the area of the underside or bonding. So far, this problem has been solved with a self-adhesive sliding tape, such as the Scotch 5421/23 sliding tape from 3M, U.S.A. This sliding tape is attached to the lower edges of the cabinet.
When setting up the control cabinet after transport, the sliding band is usually left. However, this sliding band has the disadvantage that it detaches in places and forms waves when there are larger temperature differences, such as occur during transport. As a result, it is torn away with a slight push over the floor or over edges, and the bottom of the control cabinet is scratched. Another problem is the placement of a control cabinet mentioned above on an uneven surface. A control cabinet is usually carved with small wooden wedges. Although control cabinets of the type mentioned above have been manufactured for decades, transport protection and installation are only known in the above type.
It is evident from the above that transport protection and the alignment of a control cabinet are not unproblematic, but have so far only been inadequately solved for cost reasons.
The object of the invention is to provide simple and inexpensive transport protection and, at the same time, simple help for aligning the control cabinet in a control cabinet of the type mentioned above.
This object is achieved in a generic control cabinet by the features of claim 1.
The invention is essentially based on using the solution known per se in office furniture, in order to achieve a firm stand, in a modified form in control cabinets. Since the adjustable legs of office furniture have to be protected even during transport, it is by no means obvious to provide this solution for control cabinets as transport protection, especially since all edges of the underside have to be protected. In spite of everything, detailed tests with the transport of control cabinets have shown that the attachment of e.g. only four pegs on each corner of the bottom provide adequate protection.
The invention now has the great advantage that a very simple and inexpensive transport protection and at the same time a very practical way of moving and aligning switch cabinets is offered.
In a first embodiment of the invention, the pins are provided with a thread and a plastic cover. This has the advantage that the pins can hardly come loose during transport.
In another embodiment of the invention, the pins consist of flanged tubes which are provided with an internal thread in which screws are screwed. This enables the control cabinet to be easily leveled.
The screws are mechanically secured in transit by a plastic cover or a lock nut.
In both developments, internal or external hexagon are advantageously provided, so that the height can be adjusted from above. With an angled hexagon wrench, the screws can be easily rotated even in confined spaces. If there is more space, slotted or Phillips screws can also be used.
Further advantages of the invention follow from the description below. There, the invention is explained in more detail using an example shown in the drawing. It shows:
Fig. 1 shows a section of the underside of a cabinet with a pin and a base attachment, and
Fig. 2 shows a section of the underside of a control cabinet with another pin and a floor mounting.
In the figures, the same reference numbers have been used for the same elements.
1 shows the underside 1 of a control cabinet. In each corner of the cabinet, a hole 2 is provided on the underside 1, into which a pin 3 is inserted from the outside. The pin 3 is a flanged tube, so that the flange is arranged on the outside on the underside 1. The pin 3 is provided with an internal thread into which a screw 4 is screwed. The screw 4 is provided with a hexagon socket or slot at the top, and its end is used to support the floor or the base 5. The screws 4 can also be set screws with an hexagon socket or slot. However, socket head screws with hexagon socket can also be used. The hole 2 is designed as a press fit. In addition, a double-sided adhesive ring 6 is attached between the flange of the pin 3 and the underside 1.
A lock nut 7 is provided to secure the screw 4.
The screw 4 is secured against loosening by means of a coating of a plastic, such as polyamide, on either the internal thread of the pin 2 or on the thread of the screw 4. The control cabinet is fixed on the base 5 with fastening screws 8 and dowels 9. The pin 3 consists of a hard plastic, such as Polyamide, polycarbonate, or polyoxymethylene.
In Fig. 2 another pin 3 'is shown, which consists of a flanged solid cylinder. In the hole 2 of the bottom 1 of the cabinet, a cage nut 10 is attached.
Either a coating 11 made of plastic, e.g., on the external thread of the pin 3 'or on the internal thread of the cage nut 10. Polyamide attached.
The operation of the pin 3 or 3 'is now as follows:
During transport, the screw 4 (Fig. 1) or the pin 3 '(Fig. 2) is fully screwed in, so that the flange of the pin 3 or 3' rests on the underside 1 of the control cabinet and that the control cabinet then only on the Flanges the pins 3 or 3 'on the floor. The pins 3 or 3 'thus protect the underside 1 of the control cabinet against the base or the floor 5 from scratches. At the same time, the control cabinet can be pushed onto the pin 3 or 3 'above the floor.
When setting up the control cabinet, the screws 4 or the pins 3 'are unscrewed until the control cabinet is correctly aligned. The control cabinet is subsequently immovably fixed with the fastening screws 8.
Are when installing the control cabinet on e.g. Concrete bases need no pins 3 or 3 ', they can simply be knocked out with a hammer.
It goes without saying that in principle only three pins 3 or 3 'are required for aligning the control cabinet. In practice, however, pins 3 or 3 'on the four corners of the underside 1 of the control cabinet have proven their worth.
