BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a tail lift for towing and trailer vehicles, consisting of a carrier arranged on the vehicle chassis and at least two spaced-apart cantilevered support arms, the free ends of which engage the lower edge region of the side wall, the support arms on the carrier and the side wall on the Support arms are held pivotable about horizontal axes and can be operated hydraulically, pneumatically, by electric motor and / or mechanically.
Such tail lifts are already used in a large number of towing and trailer vehicles in order to rationalize and simplify the loading and unloading process. In all known designs, the carrier for the tail lift is firmly connected to the vehicle chassis and therefore represents part of the vehicle chassis.
Rear cranes, which are mounted on the rear area of the vehicle chassis, are often used for special transports. However, for constructional reasons it is not possible to also assemble a rear crane when arranging a tail lift. On the other hand, however, it would be favorable if, for example, a rear crane were provided for larger-scale loading work, whereas a loading platform would suffice for unloading in smaller quantities.
The object of the invention is therefore to avoid the disadvantages of the existing loading and unloading systems and to create a tail lift with which the conditions mentioned can be met.
This is achieved according to the invention in that the carrier, the support arms and the side wall are designed as a structural unit and this structural unit is held interchangeably on the vehicle chassis.
As a result, the tail lift can be easily mounted on the towing vehicle and trailer vehicle, so that a rear crane can be arranged quickly and without any design problems on the same towing vehicle or trailer vehicle.
For long transport routes, it is therefore also possible to omit the entire assembly of the tail lift, so that a considerable transport weight is already eliminated. It is therefore possible, in turn, to mount a tail lift on the unloading site on the towing vehicle and trailer.
However, this interchangeable unit is also of particular advantage for any service work, since, if necessary, a different tail lift can be attached to the tractor and trailer vehicle in question, so that there are no interruptions in travel.
Such interchangeability is particularly advantageous if the structural unit consisting of carrier, support arms and drop side is held on the vehicle chassis quickly and easily. For this purpose, it is proposed that a hydraulically, pneumatically, electromotively and / or mechanically actuated lifting device for lifting or lowering the carrier into the assembly position or the disassembly position be arranged on the carrier.
The towing vehicle or trailer vehicle can therefore be moved into the required position above the carrier of the tail lift in a simple manner, in which case only the lifting device then has to be put into operation in order to
thus also lifting the tail lift into the assembly position on the vehicle chassis. It is then possible in a simple manner by means of quick-release fasteners, for example screw connections, to establish a firm connection between the carrier and the vehicle chassis. Such a lifting device also has a very positive effect when dismantling the tail lift, since then the quick-release fasteners, such as. B. screw connections, are relieved, so that a simple loosening is possible.
After such a lifting device is arranged directly on the structural unit consisting of carrier, support arms and drop side, it can also serve as a support to the ground during loading and unloading work, so that the lifting device can be extended accordingly if the loading drop wall is lifted or loaded accordingly is lowered.
The present invention thus represents a significant improvement in transportation, wherever tail lifts can be used sensibly.
Further features according to the invention and special advantages are explained in more detail in the following description with reference to the drawings. 1 shows an assembled tail lift in a side view; 2 shows a tail lift in a disassembled position below a vehicle; 3 shows a view I in FIG. 1 and FIG. 4 shows a view from above in the direction of arrow II according to FIG. 3.
In the drawings, the rear end of a towing or trailer vehicle is shown, the vehicle chassis 1 carrying a loading platform 2 and also having the usual suspension devices for wheels 3. A loading tailgate is arranged on the vehicle chassis 1, which consists of a support 4 which can be fastened to the vehicle chassis 1, at least two support arms 5 which project at a distance from one another transversely to the support 4, and the tailgate 6. The free ends of the support arms 5 engage the lower edge region of the side wall 6. The support arms 5 are held on the support 4 or a flange 7 projecting from the support 4 so as to be pivotable about the axis 8. Furthermore, the side wall 6 is held on the support arms 5 so as to be pivotable about the axis 9.
The mutual pivoting takes place hydraulically, pneumatically, by electric motor and / or mechanically, the parts relating to this not being shown for the sake of clarity. The drop side 6 can initially be pivoted down to its horizontal position, so that it is practically aligned with the loading platform 2 in one plane. After loading the drop side 6, the support arms 5 are pivoted downward, the horizontal position of the drop side 6 being approximately maintained when pivoting down.
The drop side 6 is then pivoted down until it rests on the floor so that the load can be removed in a simple manner.
According to the present invention, it is now provided that the carrier 4, the support arms 5 and the side wall 6 are designed as a structural unit. This unit is held interchangeably on the vehicle chassis 1.
A hydraulic, pneumatic, electric motor and / or mechanically actuated lifting device for lifting or lowering the carrier 4 into the mounting position (FIG. 1) or disassembly position (FIG. 2) is arranged on the carrier 4. An embodiment of such a lifting device can be seen in the drawings. Two support feet 10 which are arranged at a distance from one another and can be moved downward are provided on the carrier 4. These support feet 10 are expediently equipped with hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and have return springs for simpler construction, so that hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders acting in one direction only have to be used. A corresponding effort is only required when extending the support feet 10, that is to say when the carrier 4 is raised.
This lifting device, which in the example shown is designed in the form of support feet 10, not only serves to lift the carrier 4 into the mounting position or to lower it from this position, but can also be used as a support during the loading and unloading process. As a result, the wheels 3 can be relieved by the loaded side wall 6 in the case of the cantilevered forces.
Corresponding insertion tabs 11, centering pins 12 and stops 13 are provided on the carrier 4 and on the vehicle chassis 1, so that when the carrier 4 is raised, the carrier 4 is exactly positioned relative to the vehicle chassis 1 by sliding out the support feet 10. The insertion tabs have a correspondingly widened outward opening 14 and also the stops 13 are equipped with inclined run-up surfaces 15, so that a simple and problem-free insertion of the carrier 4 into the correct mounting position is possible. In order to enable the carrier 4 to be firmly attached to the vehicle chassis 1, quick-release fasteners are provided. Of course, all design options for quick-release fasteners can be provided, for example sliding bolts, wedges, bolts, screws, etc.
In the construction shown, bolts 16 and 17 are provided, which are held on extensions 20 and 21 of the carrier 4 so as to be pivotable about the axes 18 and 19. After lifting the carrier 4, these pivotable bolts 16 and 17 can be restricted in slots on mounting parts 22 and 23 of the vehicle chassis 1, only the nuts 24 and 25 placed on the free end of the bolts 16 and 17 then having to be tightened. Corresponding ribs or the like can be provided on the upper side of the mounting parts 22 and 23 so that the bolts 16 and 17 are prevented from pivoting out in the mounting position.
In the case of towing or trailer vehicles on which a rear crane can be mounted, brackets 26 are generally already installed, these brackets 26 being able to be used in a simple manner for fastening the tail lift or the carrier 4 of the tail lift. For this purpose, the mounting part 22 is formed with a hook-like extension 27 which engages over the upper end of the bracket 26. The lower section of the mounting part 22 is formed with a corresponding slot for the insertion of the pivotable screw bolt 16.
In the case of versions of towing and trailer vehicles which are not intended for the assembly of a rear crane, the assembly parts 22 and 23 can be firmly connected to the vehicle chassis 1, so that the structural design of the same is also possible in different variants.
A control part 28 is provided on one side of the carrier 4, from which the lifting device designed as support feet 10 and the movement sequence of the entire tail lift are controlled. This control part 28 can be connected to the connecting part 30 of the train or
Trailer vehicle can be connected. The control part 28 can, however, also be arranged on the vehicle chassis 1, the corresponding connecting lines then being routed to connecting parts on the carrier 4.
Within the scope of the invention it is possible to effect the movement of the tail lift hydraulically or pneumatically and to actuate the lifting device mechanically purely manually. In such a case, the support feet 10 are designed in the form of winches.
The arrangement according to the invention can be used in all towing vehicles and trailer vehicles, that is to say also in trucks and semi-trailers.
The present invention has created a significant improvement in the use of tail lifts since it is possible for the first time to interchangeably arrange such tail lifts on towing vehicles and trailers. This opens up a multitude of new opportunities in transportation.
