Abstract
The load surface of the truck extends over the rear axle and rear chassis. The exposed section is separate from the main part of the surface and is attached to vertical hoist supports (8,10) to operate as a lifting platform (3) to lower onto the road. The sides of the truck extend to the rear frame and provide support for the vertical hoist tracks. The tailgate (5) folds down on the edge of the hoist platform to form a loading ramp. ADVANTAGE - Hoist fully protected against weather, does not extend out behind truck and can lift heavy loads.
Description
BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a loading bridge for a commercial vehicle, such as that found on trucks.
The truck bridge with hinged rear and side shutters is now used for goods transport: small goods are loaded by hand; If no loading ramp is available, heavy goods must be loaded with a forklift or with a crane.
In order to enable loading and unloading without outside help, add-on lifts are also used. These add-on lifts at the rear of the vehicle are moved from the folded-up transport position to the horizontal working position. However, this function, which works satisfactorily, has some disadvantages such as a large space requirement and the risk of accidents, since the add-on lift protrudes considerably beyond the length of the vehicle. For the same reason, such an add-on lift also transfers large bending forces to the vehicle, which must therefore be secured by supports. The loading and unloading process is not optimal, since the goods must always be moved between the loading bridge and the add-on lift. Weather protection when loading and unloading is also completely absent.
In addition to the add-on lifts mentioned, there are also special vehicles such as low-floor pallet trucks, which however have different disadvantages - e.g. large rear width, only front-wheel drive - could not enforce in large numbers.
The aim of the present invention is to load a truck without outside help, whereby existing systems are to be improved with regard to space requirements, workload, accident risk and weather protection.
The solution to the problem is defined according to the invention by a loading bridge according to claim 1. An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown for example in Fig. 1 and described below.
The loading bridge 1 of the truck 2 has a lowerable bridge part 3. The lowerable bridge section 3 begins immediately behind the rear end of the chassis and is long enough to accommodate a normal pallet plus a pallet truck. The width of the lowerable bridge part 3 is equal to the internal dimension between the fixed side shutters 4. The rear loading 5 is fastened to the lowerable bridge part 3 by means of hinges.
By opening the reloading lock 6, the loading bridge lock 7 is opened at the same time and the lowering of the lowerable bridge part 3, which now serves as a lifting platform, together with the load located thereon, can begin protected from the weather. The parallel guidance of the lowerable bridge part 3 is ensured by two vertical bars 8 and by guides 9 in the side shutters. The lifting movement is accomplished by two vertical lifting cylinders 10. In the lowered state, the reloading 5 is used to ensure that the lowered bridge part 3 is driven over. For this reason, the reload 5 is wedge-shaped.
