BESCHREIBUNG
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt entlang der Schnittlinie II-II in Fig. 2.
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a device for sowing seed plates.
So-called sowing and growing plates with a plurality of individual plant pots arranged in rows are used for efficient seedling and young plant cultivation in garden centers and similar companies.
These seeding plates are usually sown by hand or by means of filling machines or seeders. Understandably, the former is very labor-intensive, while the latter, as highly complex systems, are only affordable and profitable for large companies.
The object of the invention is now to provide a suitable, simple and thus affordable for everyone device that allows rational sowing of seedlings while avoiding highly complicated machines.
According to the invention, this is first achieved by means of a perforated plate or shell which can be placed directly or indirectly on the growth plate and has a; the number and spacing of the plant pots of the planting plate corresponding perforation, the individual holes each serve for the passage of a grain-shaped or pelleted seed, on which perforated plate a displaceable, exchangeable bowl-shaped perforated slide with a perforation corresponding to the perforated plate is seated, the individual holes of the slider in its one, the rest position forming relative end position down through the perforated plate cells for receiving a seed form, which individual holes in the other relative end position between the perforated plate and slide aligned with the individual holes of the perforated plate.
As can be easily recognized, the cells of the hole slide can now be quickly filled by shaking by means of a tilting movement on the device with the relevant individual seed, whereupon the device is placed on the cultivation plate and the hole slide is briefly moved out of its rest position, whereupon the cells inserted seed bodies can fall through the holes in the perforated plate or shell into the plant pots of the cultivation plate.
For an easy and quick shaking in of the seed bodies (pelleted or granular), it is advantageous if the pusher has an end storage space for the seeds and has guide webs extending in the longitudinal direction between its rows of holes.
For easy and centered placement of the device or its perforated plate on the cultivation plate, it is advantageous to provide a centering frame which then surrounds the cultivation plate and the perforated plate attached on three sides; or carries the perforated plate on the underside directly or via an adapter arranged corner guides.
For trouble-free handling of the device, it is also advantageous if the displacement path of the perforated slide relative to the perforated plate is limited by means of slings; the relative displacement between the perforated slide and perforated plate from the rest position takes place against the action of spring means and, in addition, edge guides on the perforated plate or spring means keep the perforated slide in surface contact with the perforated plate.
The perforated plate or shell should overlap the growth plate on one end face by at least the displacement path of the perforated slide.
It is advantageous for the use of hole slides with different hole sizes for seed bodies of different sizes if the individual holes of the perforated plate or shell are larger than those of the hole slide.
An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
Show it:
Fig. 1 in a diagram-like representation of a device for sowing a seed plate and
FIG. 2 shows a section along the section line II-II in FIG. 2.
The seed plate 1 to be sown with a plurality of plant pots 2 arranged in rows is placed here in a centering frame 9, which then surrounds the seed plate from three sides and projects above it in order to be able to place the device according to the invention for sowing quickly and with grid accuracy on the seed plate.
The device for sowing the cultivation plate further comprises a perforated plate, which can be placed here directly on the cultivation plate 1 or here a perforated shell 3 with a perforation corresponding to the number and spacing of the plant pots of the cultivation plate 1. The individual holes 3 'are suitably large in order to allow the passage of grain-shaped or pelleted seeds of conventional size.
On this perforated shell 3, which overlaps the growing plate 1 on one end face, there is an interchangeable, shell-like perforated slide 4, which is displaceable relative to the perforated shell 3 and has a perforation corresponding to the perforated shell 3. The arrangement between the perforated shell 3 and the perforated slide 4 is such that the individual holes 4 ′ of the perforated slide 4 in its one relative end position, shown in the rest position, form cells which are closed by the perforated shell 3 and each hold one seed. If you then move the hole slide 4 relative to the hole shell 3 until the cells 4 'are aligned with the holes 3' of the hole shell 3 in question, the seeds can fall directly from the cells into the plant pots 2 of the cultivation plate 1.
In order to be able to shake the seeds in question easily into the cells 4 'of the hole slide 4, the hole slide has guide webs 8 extending in the longitudinal direction on the top side between its rows of holes. A depot space 7 for the semen is also provided on the front.
In order to take into account the different sizes and shapes of seeds, the above-described device generally comprises a number of hole slides with cells of different sizes. Accordingly, there is the condition here that the individual holes 3 'of the hole shell 3 are larger than the cells 4' of the hole slide 4 used.
It is advantageous to limit the displacement path of the hole slide 4 relative to the hole shell 3, for which purpose stop means are provided which are formed here by the front edges 5 and 6 of the hole shell 3 and the shell-shaped hole slide 4, respectively.
In order to fix the slider 4 in its rest position as well as to keep it in surface contact with the perforated shell 3, spring means (not shown in detail) can be used and, in addition, edge guide means (not shown in detail) can be provided on the upper edge of the perforated shell 3.
From the above, there is thus a device for sowing cultivation plates, which is affordable for everyone, is characterized by a simple and robust construction and permits extremely rapid sowing.
Of course, a number of modifications are possible on such a device without departing from the inventive concept. For example, in addition to the alternatives already mentioned, it is possible for the perforated shell to carry the perforated shell on the underside directly or via an adapter (not shown) arranged on the underside for centering the perforated plate or shell without using the above-described centering frame.
Furthermore, the centering frame can also have internal supports in order to insert the perforated shell with the perforated slide in the form of a drawer above the cultivation plate.
