BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention is based on a bicycle and moped stand according to the preamble of claim 1.
The well-known bike and moped stands are designed so that the front wheel of the bike is held in the stand in different ways. Such stands are z. B. manufactured by the company Pichler and Co., Muri or Velopa AG, Zurich. The stand of the company Pichler and Co. consists of a carrying device and several steel sheet profile slats attached to it, which are arranged in parallel next to each other. The width of each gap between the individual, vertical slats corresponds approximately to the width of the tire of the front wheel that is inserted into the gap. The stand from Velopa AG has side-by-side guide rails for opening the front wheel of the bicycle. The opened front wheel is then pushed into a clamp in which it is held.
All these known bicycle and moped stands have the disadvantage that the front wheel of the bicycle held in them can be damaged. When inserting and removing the front wheel, the tire, the rims, the spokes or the hub of the front wheel can be damaged by lateral pressure or incorrect manipulation. Furthermore, the whole bike is not 100 percent secured against lateral tilting. Theft of a bicycle parked in this way is also not ruled out, even if the front wheel is secured to the stand by means of a lock, because the front wheel secured in this way can be removed quickly and easily from the bicycle fork.
The invention specified in claim 1 was based on the object of designing a bicycle and moped stand so that the disadvantages of the known stands are eliminated. Such a bike and moped stand should be of a simple construction and easy to use. The possibility of theft should be practically eliminated.
This object is achieved in a bicycle and moped stand by the features of the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
The subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below using a drawing, for example. Show it:
1 is a view of a higher lying guide rail of the bicycle and moped stand according to the invention with the front wheel of a bicycle opened on the guide rail,
2 shows a side view of a lower-lying guide rail of the bicycle and moped stand according to the invention,
3 is a perspective view of the Velound moped stand according to the invention, and
Fig. 4 is a rear view of the holder with a U-shaped insert, by which the pedal crank of a bicycle is held.
The stand for parking bicycles and mopeds consists of a carrying device 1 and a plurality of guide rails 2 fastened thereon. The carrying device 1 is intended for laying on the ground and can consist of steel tubes. The guide rails 2, which are intended for erecting the bicycle front wheels 11, are alternately higher and lower and run parallel to one another. The alternately higher and lower guide rails 2 provide two floors for parking the bicycles 10. The guide rails 2 consist of steel profiles with a bottom and two side walls that converge conically towards the bottom. The distance between the side walls is smaller for bicycles than for mopeds
Each guide rail 2 has a section 2a rising from the support device 1 and a section 2b falling in the direction of the support device 1.
The front wheel 11 of a bicycle 10 is guided over the starting point of each ascending section 2a to the descending section 2b, where the front wheel 11 remains positioned. The two sections 2a and 2b enclose an obtuse angle a, which is approximately 135. The sections 2a, 2b are of different lengths.
The stand further comprises a plurality of upright holders 3 which are welded onto the carrying device 1. Each holder 3 is positioned to the left of the ascent of the rising section 2a of each guide rail 2. Each holder 3 consists of an L iron, in the upper part of which a U-shaped insert 4 is interchangeably inserted; it is screwed onto the L-bar. Each insert 4 is provided on its surface facing away from the L-iron with a plastic covering 5. Each L-iron is inclined in the direction of the center line x of the support device 1 and forms an angle ss of approximately 80 ″ with the support device plane.
The holder 3 with the insert 4 is intended for receiving the left, downward-facing pedal crank 12 of the bicycle 10 which has reached and is set up with its front wheel 11 on the sloping section 2b. The pedal crank 12 is held in the U-shaped insert 4, whereby no damage to the pedal crank 12 can take place due to the plastic covering 5 thereof. One of the side walls of each L-iron, which is close to the guide rail 2 assigned to the L-iron and provided to the right of it, runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of this guide rail. This creates a free space for the left pedal 14 of the pedal crank 12 held in the insert 4. Since the rear wheel 12 of the bicycle 10 lies on the ground, the pedal crank 12 cannot be turned further back in this position.
A lock 6 is provided to secure the parked bicycle 10. The insert 4 and the holder 3 are drilled to receive the closure 6, and the closure can connect the holder 3 to the seat tube or down tube of the bicycle 10. Since the chain wheel of the bicycle 10 is always attached to the right side of the bicycle, there is no obstacle for the closure 6 on the left side of the bicycle.
Since the bike is held by the bracket on the pedal crank, there is no risk of the front wheel being damaged.
The bicycle can be reliably secured against possible theft by the lock. The bicycle is easy to use when parking because it is easily accessible, because the parts of the stand that are responsible for holding and securing the bicycle come to rest in the middle of the bicycle. Placing the front wheel on the sloping section of the guide rail prevents the parked bicycle from moving back. The front wheel is not held at all; it has ground clearance. The stand is stable and does not require any maintenance.
