Abstract

The equipment maintains a bicycle in the upright position, and comprises a plate (1) resting on the ground, and from which a profiled section post extends vertically upwards (3). This has a vertical slot whose width corresponds to the pedal spindle diameter, and one of the pedal cranks fits in it. The post can be offset from the plate centre, so that the centre of gravity of the bicycle comes directly over the latter, and can be directly fixed to the plate, or secured to it by a fitting with a spring lock. The plate can have a peripheral flange or feet extending downwards.
