Abstract

The height adjusting device for use on furniture has a U-shaped support bracket (6) with a stepped profile, a vertical panel (4) seating on the bottom portion (8) of the bracket. The panel is held in place by a pointed pressed out portion (24). The upper steps (12, 13) of the bracket are provided with apertures through which threaded rods (16, 17) pass, the rods being supported on circular feet (18, 19). The upper steps of the bracket rest on nuts (14, 15), the upper ends of the threaded rods being provided with slots (20, 21) to permit the use of an adjustment tool.
