Die Erfindung betrifft eine Lichtreklamen- und Informationseinrichtung, bestehend aus einem Gehäuse mit Rahmen, einer von diesen Rahmen eingefassten Glasplatte mit einem Informationsträger als Vorderwand und einer Rückwand sowie einer im Gehäuse angeordneten Lichtquelle. Zwischen Rückwand und Spiegel sind Beleuchtungselemente angeordnet, mittels welcher das Reklamebild beleuchtet und damit sichtbar gemacht werden kann. Bei ausgeschalteten Lichtquellen ist der Spiegel für den Betrachter von aussen undurchsichtig und keine Reklame sichtbar. Bei dieser Einrichtung wird das Reklamebild sehr ungleich-mässig ausgeleuchtet, was für den Betrachter störend wirkt. Die im Bereiche der Spiegelfläche angeordneten Lichtquellen wirken zudem störend und Reflexionen machen das Reklamebild teilweise schlecht lesbar. Die beschriebene Einrichtung ist nur einseitig nutzbar. Soll auf der Vorder- und auf der Rückseite des Apparates ein Reklamebild sichtbar werden, so muss der Apparat mit einer mittleren Trennwand und einer doppelten Bestückung an Lichtquellen ausgerüstet sein.
