BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a chicken yard with at least one separate room for chickens with a floor, which at least partially consists of an inclined wire mesh, along which the eggs roll through a narrow gap into a collecting space on a conveyor belt.
The most common types of poultry yard are the poultry yard with a diffusion layer floor and the pennsylvania chicken yard. In a poultry yard with a stray layer floor, part of the floor is covered with a stray layer and part consists of a wooden slatted frame. This chicken farm requires constant care and a lot of work. The eggs have to be collected several times a day and the hen house often has to be cleaned out. With the help of a wire mesh construction for the floor, the workload could be reduced. Such a so-called Pennsylvaniahühnerhof has a crooked wire mesh floor, along which the eggs roll. The eggs pass through a narrow crack into a collecting space, usually a trough, from which they are then collected.
As a result of the wire mesh floor, the chicken manure falls under the chicken room and does not bother the chickens. A Pennsylvani chicken farm also requires daily care. B. not to be left without care over a weekend.
The use of various types of conveyor belts in connection with egg collection is also known.
These conveyor belts take up a significant amount of space on the floor and do not eliminate the need for daily maintenance. In the Pennsylvania Chicken Coop, narrow conveyor belts were set up one day to store the amount of eggs, and the eggs roll at the top level. Here the eggs are exposed to the air in the chicken run and the dust.
The invention has for its object to provide a chicken farm that takes up less space compared to the previous chicken farm types and does not require daily maintenance.
This is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1. The floor strip on the conveyor belt is a useful floor surface on which the mucking out can advantageously be carried out by means of the conveyor belt. The floor strip also forms a base of a different type than the wire mesh floor, which in itself promotes the well-being of the chickens and, in the breeding poultry yards, that of the roosters. In the breeding poultry yards, the strip also offers a significantly better base for mating than the sloping wire mesh floor. Since no floor space is lost, the conveyor belt can be wide, and the collecting space can also be used as a storage place for the eggs. B. serves over the weekend. Of course, the floor strip is also accessible.
The work involved in egg production is also reduced. In addition to the eggs, the chicken manure falls from the arched floor strip, which then falls through the wire mesh while the eggs roll into the collecting room.
Claims 2 to 4 describe preferred embodiments of the chicken yard according to the invention. The use of a steel plate is advantageous in terms of manufacturing technology. To do this, the conveyor belt slides easily on a steel plate. The gap is preferably about 5.5 cm high so that the eggs roll through them in the collecting space, but do not break when they fall off the edge of the floor strip.
When using a sheet metal profile, the construction is primarily lighter, because the span of the floor support construction is halved. If e.g. B. the sheet profile is supported with rollers, these can also be in constant contact with the lower belt. Another advantage is the ventilation of the collecting room.
It is extremely important that the eggs are not z. B. lie over a weekend in the chicken farm air, but are kept in the fresh air.
The ventilation of the collection and especially the storage space through holes in the legs of the sheet profile prevents the air from being blown directly onto the eggs, which could make them too dry. In addition, such an embodiment is advantageous in terms of production technology.
In the following the invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawing, which represents a chicken farm according to the invention.
Figure 1 is a cross section through a space for the chickens, and
Figure 2 is a cross section through the floor strip.
The chicken farm can e.g. B. consist of four side by side chicken rooms such as that shown in Figure 1, with a total width of about 10 m. The length can be z. B. 20 m. Oblique wire mesh floors 3 are approx.
each 90 cm wide and a floor strip 4 is approx. 60 cm wide.
Conveyor belts 6, 7 of the chicken rooms are preferably connected to a transverse conveyor belt which z. B. brings into an egg room.
An attempt is made to direct the egg laying onto the crooked wire mesh floors 3 and in particular into rooms insulated with curtains 13. In any case, eggs are laid all over the chicken room. From the crooked wire grids 3, the eggs roll into the collecting space 16 and onto the lower part 6 of the conveyor belt 6, 7. The eggs placed on the floor strip 4 and on the upper part 7 of the conveyor belt 6, 7 roll onto the wire grid 3 and on the collecting room 16.
The mucking out mainly takes place through the wire mesh floor 3 into the basement. A part of the manure falls from the floor strip 4 over the edges and a part is transported away on the upper part 7 of the conveyor belt 6, 7.
In the chicken room, additional space can be created above the wien construction 10. The purpose of the wooden slatted floor 11 is in particular to provide the chickens with more and different common rooms. The corresponding mucking out takes place with the help of a conveyor belt 12 under the wooden slatted floor. A drinking apparatus 14 of known type is arranged on the wall of the chicken room.
The wire mesh floors 3 are mounted on inclined support beams 1. The floor strip 4 in the middle is arranged on a horizontal support beam 2, but it is also partially supported by supports 5 on the inclined support beam 1.
The wire mesh floors 3 extend at the lowest point to the lower part 6 of the conveyor belt 6, 7, which part runs on the horizontal support beam (Figure 2). The collecting space 16 consists of the space which is delimited by the steel plate of the floor strip 4 and the lower part 6 of the conveyor belt 6, 7, and at the same time serves as a storage space for the eggs. The arcuate steel plate is supported on the edges by means of the supports 5 on each of the supporting beams 1.
A U-shaped sheet metal profile 8 is welded on its legs in the steel plate or in the floor strip 4.
The sheet metal profile 8 and the steel plates or the floor strip 4 together form an air duct into which fresh air is conducted so that the chicken yard air is removed from the collecting space. Before fastening, holes 9 were made in the legs, which serve as ventilation openings for fresh air.
If you walk on the floor strip 4, the sheet profile 8 sinks and is firmly supported on the lower part 6 of the conveyor belt 6, 7. Of course, the conveyor belt 6, 7 is not used.
