Description
The invention relates to a band seed body, which is detachably and removably arranged on a standard coulter, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
DE-OS 22 26 026 has already disclosed such a band seed body. This band seed body is arranged on a standard coulter with the help of three screws. This has made it possible to cost-effectively equip a seed drill equipped with standard coulters with band seed coulters. The advantage here is that, depending on the prevailing conditions, the farmer can plant the seed in rows with the standard coulters or in band sowing with the band seed coulter bodies arranged on the standard coulters.
The disadvantage of this band seed body is the attachment of the band seed body to the standard coulter with three screws. The assembly or disassembly of the band seed share bodies is a very complex and time-consuming work that the farmer cannot be expected to do. It is very common for the farmer to want to change the types of coulters several times in a period of use. However, the work involved in changing the coulter type is so great that due to the time involved in changing the coulter types and the resulting loss of time, only one coulter type per seeder could prevail, so that the seed with one coulter type, either with standard coulters, with band seed coulters or is brought into the ground with coulters. Since the work and time required for assembly and disassembly of the well-known band seed body is too great, this type could not prevail in practice.
Furthermore, it is a considerable disadvantage of this band seed share body that the seed is not laid out broadly, but is essentially only deposited in a narrow row in accordance with the sowing with a standard coulter in the ground. It is a misleading assumption that the seed spreads itself by itself in free fall and when it hits the ground.
In addition, the arrangement of screw parts outside of the lateral parts of the band seed share body is of considerable disadvantage because plant residues can adhere to the laterally projecting screw parts located in the immediate vicinity of the ground. This then leads to blockages between the coulters arranged side by side. In addition, these laterally protruding screw parts narrow the passage between the coulters arranged side by side, especially when there are narrow row spacings. The seeder is therefore very susceptible to clogging.
The invention has for its object to simplify the known arrangement of a band sowing body on a standard coulter significantly and advantageously develop.
Included in the invention are the possibilities in which only the last part of the push-on movement or the part of the push-on movement required to lock the band seed coulter body takes place from below.
In a preferred embodiment, the band seed share body has a transverse connection of the two side walls in its lower region for stabilization, which is designed as a holder for the band seed share body on the standard coulter. This makes it possible for the band seed share body to be held firmly on the standard coulter without additional fastening means. Of course, the cross connection can also be releasably connected to the band seed body. Furthermore, the impact body can be arranged in a simple manner on this cross connection, so that no additional mounting for the impact body is required.
In the simplest version, the cross connection runs parallel to the rear upright edge of the share tip. This solution will be preferred especially for very narrow ligament cortex bodies with an acute angle and long side walls, since the side walls lie close to the standard coulter.
A secure connection between the standard coulter and the band seed body is e.g. achieved in that the cross connection does not run parallel to the rear upright edge of the share tip of the standard coulter, that the cross connection has a cutout in its lower, middle region and that at least the rear edge of the share tip fits into this cutout. This ensures that the band seed share body is always correctly seated on the standard coulter.
In order to achieve a good adaptation of the band seed coulter body to the standard coulter and to achieve a unit of the attached band coulter body with the standard coulter, a cross-sectionally U-shaped pocket can be arranged on the front of the band seed coulter body, which is at least more than half the height of the standard sowing -sharing body extends and which encompasses at least around the front narrow area of the normal coulter. This will result in plant remains stuck to the band seed body.
The U-shaped pocket preferably extends to the rear ends of these side walls so that no soil parts can get between the standard coulter and the side walls of the band seed share body.

The band seed coulter body 1 is arranged so that it can be introduced into the ground in broad bands in the soil with standard coulters 2 equipped seeder, on the standard coulter 2 it is detachably and removably arranged. In its lower area, the band seed share body 1 consists of the side walls 3 opening backwards at an acute angle and the pocket 4 which is U-shaped in cross section and adjoins upward in the front upper area.
Ferner weist die The pocket 4 extends over more than half the height of the normal coulter 2 and encompasses the front narrow area of the normal coulter 2
Pocket 4 in its upper area on the bore 5, which is to be brought into line with the bore 6 located in the standard coulter 2. By means of the securing bolt 7 with the spring plug 8 to be inserted through these bores 5 and 6, the band seed body 1 is secured on the standard coulter 2.
In its lower area, the band seed body 1 has the cross connection 9, which connects the two side walls 3 to one another. This cross-connection 9 is arranged on the side walls 3 in such a way that it comes to rest in the mounted position of the band seed body 1 on the standard coulter 2 directly behind the rear upright edge 10 of the share tip 11 of the standard coulter 2. This cross connection 9 is simultaneously designed as a holder for the band seed body 1 on the standard coulter 2 and as a stabilizing strut for the two side walls 3. As a result, the band seed body 1 can be built very lightly, so that this additional weight cannot have a disadvantageous effect. The cross connection 9 does not run parallel to the rear upright edge 10 of the share tip 11 of the normal coulter 2. With its upper edge 12, the cross connection 9 lies directly against the share tip 11, and in its lower region the cross connection 9 has a cutout corresponding to the share tip 11 13 on. The coulter tip 11 fits into this recess 13, as a result of which the band seed body 1 receives a firm lateral hold.
The band seed coulter body 1 can be simply plugged onto the standard coulter 2 from below in such a way that the upward movement of the band seed coulter body 1 grips the share tip 11 of the standard coulter 2 behind the cross connection 9. The band seed coulter body 1 is then secured on the standard coulter 2 by the securing bolt 7. The standard coulter 2 and the band seed body 1 now form a unit.
The measure of the height H of the side walls 3 is greater than the measure of the depth of penetration T of the band seed body 1 into the ground. This prevents floor parts from being pushed over the side walls 3.
The impact body 14 is arranged on the cross-connection 9 in the lower region of the band seed coulter body 1 below the seed outlet opening of the standard coulter 2. This impact body 14 has a U-shaped cross section.
The outer sides of the side walls 3 are made of a wear-resistant material. As a result, the service life of the band seed body 1 is significantly extended.
4 has the pocket 17 reaching to the rear ends 16 of the side turn 3 of the band seed body 15. Through this extended pocket 17, the spaces 18 between the side walls 3 and the standard coulter 2 are covered, so that no floor parts pass through these spaces into the interior of the band seed body 15. Blockage of the coulter by soil parts is thus excluded.
The cross connection 19 connecting the two side walls 3 has the cutout 20 for the share tip 11 of the standard coulter 2. The part 21 corresponding to the recess 20 is bent backwards in the upper region of the recess 20 and designed as an impact body 22. The cross connection 19 is guided up to the lower edge 23 of the side walls 3 of the band seed body 15. The part adjoining the cross connection 19 is bent forwards and is designed as a coulter bottom 24 which closes the band seed body 15 from below. A substantially better depth guidance of the band seed body 15 is achieved by means of this share bottom 24.

Im folgenden werden die Vorteile des beschriebenen Bandsaatscharkörpers kurz zusammengefasst: In the following the advantages of the described band seed share body are briefly summarized:
This band seed body, which is slipped on like a shoe over a standard coulter, gives the farmer practically a seeder with two different types of coulters, whereby existing sowing machines equipped with normal coulters are to be retrofitted. Furthermore, the farmer now has the option of switching from one type of share to another very quickly and easily. For example, it is very common for seeds, especially cereals, to be spread in the band crops that produce more yield, but the farmer, however, due to the use of
Band sowing coulters on unclean soils, relatively high risk of clogging of the band sowing coulters, would rather forego the additional yields and use his seed drill with the normal coulters less prone to clogging. The band seed share body according to the invention, however, gives the farmer the possibility of spreading the seed in band seed on unclean soils. The conversion of the seed drill from normal to band seed or vice versa can be carried out in a very short time with just a few simple steps, so that the farmer can decide on the spot and according to the respective application and sowing conditions whether the seed is in normal seed, i.e. H. Row or band sowing is to be sown.
