PATENTANSPRUCH

PATENT CLAIM
Breakdown light, in particular for vehicle drivers, characterized in that a pocket is attached to a cap made of strong fabric on the front side of the pocket, in which a flat flashlight is inserted, the light bulb of which is attached to the front side of the cap so that its light is always on illuminates the field of vision of the person wearing the cap.
The invention relates to a breakdown light, which is particularly useful for motor vehicle drivers when nighttime breakdowns are repaired. If drivers have to fix a breakdown in their vehicle at night, they usually work with flashlights, possibly also with lamps that are powered by a cable from the vehicle battery. Although such lamps are often equipped with a holding magnet to fix them to the body, it is usually not possible to direct the lighting precisely to the point at which work is being carried out. The commercially available headlamps could help here, but they are too bulky and uncomfortable to carry and would be a hindrance to the person working.
The invention has therefore set itself the task of creating a breakdown lamp that is small, easy to use and always at hand and in which the light always illuminates the field of vision of the person repairing the breakdown.
This object is achieved by the lamp described in the patent claim. In the drawing, two embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, FIG. 1 showing a cap with and FIG. 2 showing one without a shield.
A flashlight of flat shape is arranged in a pocket 2 arranged on the end face of the cap 1 and is held therein by a strap 3. The light bulb 4 of the lamp can be attached to the front of the battery housing as usual, but it is also possible to use a lamp in which the light is connected to the battery housing via a cable, so that the light source is attached somewhat further to the shield of the cap can be achieved, whereby particularly favorable lighting conditions can be achieved. The cap is made from a stiff and bright colored fabric. In order to make the breakdown service working on the street even more visible to other street users, partially or completely fluorescent material will be used for the cap.
With this device, a breakdown light is created that can be stored anywhere in the car, but can also be easily carried on two-wheeled vehicles. The person wearing the hat has both hands free at work and the light is always at the point where he is working.
