Description

  Combined shop and advertisement lighting.
The subject of the invention is a combined display and advertisement lighting, of which two embodiments are shown in the drawing in FIGS. 1 and 2.
 EMI1.1
Device serving reclamation lighting from a light source 4 arranged in front of the display window with a reflector 1 which can be shaped as part of a spherical shell, cylindrical, parabolic or otherwise in a suitable manner. This blocks the light on the street side and throws it down at an angle to illuminate the shop window. An illuminated sign housing 3, which is otherwise closed on all sides, opens into the wall of the reflector, which is open at 2, the boundary walls of which are provided with exchangeable banners (advertising texts, advertising images).

The light source 4 is inside the reflector I so in front of the mouth 2 of the Leuehtsc. hildgehäuses arranged that a part of the total light emission also falls into this housing, so that the transparent images and characters of the boundary walls of the latter are brought to light by the same light source that is used by the reflector 1 to illuminate the display. It is essential for the invention that the housing. 3 extends into the shadow space of the reflector, so that the transparencies come into their own as a result of the contrasting effect it creates.

In order to direct and better concentrate the light falling into the housing 3, when using incandescent lamps according to FIG. 1, the part of the incandescent lamp opposite the opening of the housing and extending from a to b can be mirrored.

According to Fie, '2-becomes a special one instead of this mirroring. smaller. Auxiliary mirror 5 applied, which is arranged opposite the housing mouth behind the incandescent lamp.
 EMI1.2
The inner surfaces of the housing will expediently be designed as reflective surfaces in order to achieve good dispersion of the light and thus uniform illumination of the transparencies used.
