The mechanism indicating the date of Easter comprises a hand (15) cooperating with a scale (16) and solid with a pinion (14) engaged with the toothing (13) of a rake (11). This rake (11) is pivoted about its other end (12) and includes a fixed finger (18) cooperating with the tops (10) of a castellated cam (7). The position of these tops corresponds to the indication, for a given year, of the day of the Easter holiday. This mechanism further includes a system (6, 8, 27) for driving the cam (7) one step per year driven by a train of demultiplying wheels (2, 3, 4) themselves driven by the hour wheel (1) of the movement. <IMAGE>
