Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht der Griffvorrichtung in der Ausschalt Stellung,
Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht der Griffvorrichtung in der Einschalt Stellung,
Fig. 3 einen Schnitt längs der Linie III-III der Fig. 1.

The invention relates to a handle device for a rotary switch, with a rotary handle and a protective collar surrounding the latter, which is provided with at least one opening for inserting a lock preventing the actuation of the rotary handle.
Known Griffvofnchtungen of this type, in which a padlock is used as a lock, have the disadvantages that they consist of numerous, the manufacture and assembly difficult individual parts, are insufficiently secured against violent or unauthorized use of a tool and no simple and allow clear designation of the switch positions.
The object of the present invention is to provide a handle device of the type mentioned at the outset, which has only very few individual parts, is robust, cannot be unlocked unauthorized either by loosening fastening screws or by removing the rotary handle and offers the possibility of large-scale, unmistakable designations of the switch positions.
According to the invention, the handle device is characterized in that the rotary handle has a handle and at least one sector-shaped flange part molded onto it, that the protective collar as a double-walled trough with a bottom and an inner wall for receiving the rotation as well as with an outer wall connected to the inner wall via a front surface is formed, and that the inner wall and the outer wall are correspondingly provided with at least one opening each for inserting a lock projecting inward beyond the inner wall, the opening of the inner wall not being covered by the handle in at least one switching position of the rotary handle and adjacent to the Flange part of the rotary handle is located.
Since the inserted lock extends through two interconnected walls of the protective collar in the subject matter of the invention, the lock is mechanically fixed and acts as a locking stop for the twist grip. Furthermore, since the lock is at the same time over the flange part of the rotary handle, it cannot be removed in the locked state. Here, the subject matter of the invention consists of only two parts.
A preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is that the rotary handle has four flange parts symmetrical to the longitudinal and transverse axes of the handle, and that the inner wall and outer wall of the protective collar are each provided with two diametrical openings for inserting two locks. This embodiment allows in a particularly simple manner on the bottom of the protective wearing fasteners, such as screws, cover constantly dig and also delimit surface areas on the floor, which can be provided with appropriate labels for the switch positions.
The twist grip is advantageously designed to be pluggable, being held on the switch shaft by the effect of a spring.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
1 is a plan view of the handle device in the off position,
2 is a plan view of the handle device in the on position,
3 shows a section along the line III-III of FIG. 1st
The handle device shown for a rotary switch having a switch-off position and a switch-on position comprises a rotary handle 1 and a protective collar 2 surrounding it. The rotary handle 1 consists of a bar-shaped handle 3, which is made of a plastic insulating material and is hollow on the inside, and several sector-shaped flange parts 4 formed thereon. In the exemplary embodiment shown, four flange parts 4 are arranged like a butterfly in relation to the longitudinal and transverse axes of the handle 3.
In order to fasten the rotary handle 1 on a square or cylindrical switch shaft provided with a flat surface, the handle 3 has an integrally formed sleeve 5 in its interior, the bore of which is also angular in its inner region 6 corresponding to the switch shaft and which is in its outer region 7 is slit finger-shaped. The outer region 7 is surrounded by a spring ring 8. The rotary handle 1 is thus simply plugged onto the switch shaft and is clamped onto the switch shaft 7 by the pressure of the spring ring 8 on the slotted area 7.
The protective collar 2, which is also made of a plastic insulating material, shows the shape of a double-walled trough. A circular bottom 9 with a central bore 10 as a passage for the switch shaft is provided with two indicated holes 11 for screwing the protective collar onto the rotary switch, on a control panel, on a device wall or the like. The bore 10 is surrounded by a collar 12 for guiding the outer end of the sleeve 5 of the handle 3. The bottom 9 merges into a substantially cylindrical inner wall 13, which is connected to four rectangular outer side walls 14 via an upper cover surface 15. The entire protective collar 2 is formed in one piece.
On two opposite outer side walls 14 and at the corresponding points on the inner wall 13 there is a rectangular opening 16 each slightly offset from the relevant axis of symmetry of the protective collar 2, such that in the switch-off position shown in FIG. 1 the openings 16 from the handle 3 are straight not be covered.
The openings 16 are intended to insert a lock (not shown), indicated by an arrow 17, into one of the pairs of openings 16, for example a padlock or bolt of another locking device, two of them being different from one another due to the symmetrical design of the protective collar 2 and the rotary handle 1 independent locks can be used. The inserted lock then protrudes into the interior of the protective collar 2, which is delimited by the bottom 9 and the inner wall 13 and in which the rotary handle 1 is received. 1 prevents movement of the handle 3 in the direction of the switch-on position shown in FIG. 2, since when the handle 3 is turned clockwise it strikes the lock held in the openings 16.
But it is also impossible to pull off the rotary handle 1 that is simply plugged on from the switch shaft, since the lock projecting from the opening 16 lies above the relevant flange part 4. A violent breakout of the barrier from the opening 16 of the protective collar 2 is made more difficult by the fact that the barrier extends both through the inner wall 13 and the outer side wall 14 and these walls are connected to one another by the upper cover surface 15. A violent breaking off of the flange part 4 locked by the lock is difficult because this flange part is in contact with the lock near its connection to the handle 3.
The flange parts 4 serve not only to lock the rotary handle 1, but also to permanently cover the fastening screws fitted in the holes 11. Furthermore, depending on the switch position, the flange parts 4 cover different surface areas of the base 9 or release other surface areas. As a result, the switch positions, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, can be labeled in a clear and clearly visible manner, for example by correspondingly printing on the bottom 9.
The present handle device has the advantages that it consists of just two individual parts that can be produced with little effort, to which only the spring ring of the rotary handle comes, since it is robust, allows secure locking by means of an easily attachable lock, and a convenient, against dirt insensitive shape.
It is easily possible to change the design of the flange parts 4 of the rotary handle 1 and the arrangement of the openings 16 of the protective collar 2 such that more than just one position of the rotary switch can be locked by means of an inserted lock. It is also conceivable to provide a round outer shape with a cylindrical outer wall coaxial with the inner wall 13 instead of a rectangular, in particular square outer shape of the protective collar 2.
