PATENTANSPRÜCHE

PATENT CLAIMS
1. Pneumatic coupling for the automatic connection of a device which is connected to a pressure medium source and which extends a series of blowing nozzles, said pressure medium being periodically released by a valve each time the outlet of the pressure line connected to the pressure medium source and the inlet of a blowing nozzle stand opposite, characterized in that the pressure medium presses a movable sealing member against the inlet of the blowing nozzle in the presence of sufficient excess pressure.
2. Pneumatic coupling according to claim 1, characterized in that the movable sealing member is designed as a with a piston (13) connected sealing disc (16) which is held in the rest position by means of a spring (15) and when the pressure rises through the piston against the inlet (9) the blowing nozzle (4) is pressed.
3. Pneumatic coupling according to claim 1, characterized in that the movable sealing member is designed as a membrane (23) which, in the idle state, has a central depression (26) directed against a storage space (22) which follows under the effect of an excess pressure bulges outside and lies against the inlet (9) of the blow nozzle (4).
The creation and removal of fiber fly has always been a problem in the textile industry, particularly in places where measuring elements are used in the course of yarn production or further processing for determining specific yarn properties. It is particularly important at these measuring points to ensure that no deposits of fiber fly remain attached. An effective means for this is that the measuring point is blown from a nozzle by means of an air stream and any deposits are thereby removed.
In a known type of winding machine, a so-called knot carriage walks through the individual winding units and checks each winding unit for possible thread breaks. If this is determined, a knotting process is initiated and the thread to be rewound is inserted into the measuring slot of the thread cleaner located at each winding point. The measuring slit is to be blown out by means of a strong air flow and thereby penetrated fiber fly is removed.
The task now is to create a short-term connection for the passage of air between the knot carriage walking the individual winding units and the blowing nozzles directed against the measuring slots of the yarn cleaners.
Known solutions consist in the air outlet opening on the knot carriage stopping in each case while maintaining an air gap with respect to the inlet openings of the blowing nozzles and the compressed air being directed against these blowing nozzles. However, a considerable part of the inflowing compressed air escapes through this air gap, which requires an increased need for compressed air with a correspondingly translated dimensioning of the compressed air treatment elements.
With the present invention, these disadvantages are eliminated. It consists in that the pressure medium presses a movable sealing element against the inlet opening of the blowing nozzle while there is sufficient overpressure.
This sealing member can be designed as a sealing disc connected to a piston, which is pressed against the force of a return spring against the inlet opening of the blowing nozzle by the overpressure.
Another embodiment is designed in such a way that the sealing member is designed as a membrane which, in the idle state, has a central depression directed into the interior of a storage space, which bulges outwards under the influence of overpressure and which bears against the inlet opening of the blowing nozzle.
Exemplary embodiments are explained in more detail on the basis of the description and the figures. It shows:
1 schematically shows parts of a winding machine with the pneumatic clutch,
2 shows a first embodiment of a pneumatic coupling in section,
Fig. 3 shows another embodiment of a pneumatic clutch in section.
In the illustration according to FIG. 1, a knot carriage 1 can be moved along a carriageway 2 and steps through the winding stations, which are indicated by a yarn cleaner 3 with yarn 5 and a blowing nozzle 4. The node car is used as needed, i.e. if a knot formation is required, stopped in such a position that a pneumatic coupling 6 can interact with inlet openings 9 of the blowing nozzles 4. As soon as this position is reached, a compressed air P is applied to the pneumatic clutch 6 via a pressure line 8 by a pulse on a solenoid valve 7. This immediately forms a tight connection with the inlet opening 9 of the blowing nozzle 4.
As soon as the pressure on the pneumatic coupling 6 drops, it returns to its rest position and separates the knot carriage 1 from the blowing nozzle 4.
A first embodiment of a pneumatic coupling 6 is shown in FIG. 2. It consists of a housing 11 into which a pressure line connection 12 is inserted. A piston 13 is movably inserted in a bore, to which a piston rod 14 connects, the end of which protrudes from the housing and carries a sealing disk 16. The piston and piston rod have a through bore 10. The sealing disc 16 is in the rest position of the coupling in a depression 17 and comes out of this when the pressure rises. In doing so, it lies against the inlet opening 9 of the blowing nozzle 4.
When the pressure is removed, a spring 15 guides the sealing washer back into the depression 17.
Another type of pneumatic clutch is shown in FIG. It consists of a housing 21 into which the pressure line connection 12 is inserted. Towards the other end, the housing 21 is expanded to a storage space 22.
A membrane 23 is now inserted into a circumferential groove 25 and held by means of a clamping ring 24. This membrane is shaped such that it has a depression 26 directed towards the storage space. If an overpressure occurs in the storage space 22, the depression 26 bulges outward and lies against the inlet opening 9 of the blower nozzle 4. The compressed air flows through an air outlet opening 27 into the blower nozzle 4. When the overpressure in the storage space 22 disappears the membrane 23 automatically returns to the rest position.
