Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to a building for a complete pig breeding cycle.

A complete pig breeding cycle essentially includes the phases of fertilization-gestation, calving-suckling-piglets, weaning piglets and fattening. As is known, currently in pig farms, each of the aforementioned phases is implemented and completed in a respective construction, adequately equipped with air conditioning and air conditioning systems as well as equipment for cleaning the rooms in accordance with and in compliance with precise hygiene standards.

This conventional way of carrying out the phases that make up an entire breeding cycle, however widespread, entails numerous technical and economic drawbacks. In fact, a first and more evident drawback, especially when the breeding of pigs is industrial or semi-industrial, is the need to have relatively large areas of land on which to build, in the most rational positions possible, the constructions required by the consequent the need to periodically transfer the pigs from a construction, where they have completed one phase of the cycle, to more or less adjacent buildings where to start and complete the subsequent phases. Another not negligible drawback is given by the need to equip each individual building with the required and indispensable air conditioning and air conditioning systems as well as equipment for the distribution and dosage of feed and equipment for washing rooms. A further drawback is constituted by the need to collect and convey the manure and sewage from each individual building to a single outlet.

The main object of the present invention is to provide a building with characteristics such that an entire breeding cycle can be carried out in it without excluding any of its phases, thus overcoming the drawbacks mentioned with reference to the prior art.

This object and others that will appear better from the description that follows, are achieved by a building for a complete cycle of pig breeding characterized by the fact that it comprises a ground floor in which two plurality of cells are arranged on at least two longitudinal alignments, intended for the reception of piglets in the phase of progressive fattening, an upper surface (s) comprising a lateral portion with boar reception cells and sow reception cells in gestation, a central portion with farrowing cells and cells for reception of piglets and a further lateral portion with piglets holding cells, and at least one hoist between said ground floor and said upper floor for transferring the piglets from one floor to another.

Advantageously, the building for a complete cycle of pig breeding is characterized by the fact that it consists of prefabricated panels in number suitable for constituting four side walls of the building itself, a suitably insulated roof or roof and two slabs constituting said ground floor and said upper floor, in each of which slabs are obtained by casting at least two longitudinal channels intended for the reception and discharge of the manure and slurry produced by the farm, which channels are covered by a grid.

The above characteristics and the advantages of the invention will become clearer from the detailed description of a building for the complete pig breeding cycle, made below with reference to the attached drawings in which:

figs. 1 and 2 schematically represent, in perspective and in partial section, a building according to the invention;

With reference to said figs. 1 generally indicates a building for a complete pig breeding cycle according to the invention, which manufactured, conventionally arranged on a plurality of plinths or foundations 2, essentially consists of four side walls 3,4, 5 and 6 , by two slabs 7, 8 which form the ground floor and the upper floor of the building and by a roof (roof) with one or two pitches 9. Advantageously the side walls and the roof of the building are made up of prefabricated panels, possibly insulated , in which the desired openings for the realization of access doors 10 of the building itself and of windows 11 for the ventilation and natural lighting of the interior of the said building are defined in advance.

On the slab 7 (ground floor of the building) there are two pluralities of cells 12, 13 of a conventional type, intended for the reception of piglets in stages of progressive fattening. The cells 12 and 13, which are arranged along two longitudinal alignments of said ground-floor and which are spaced from each other by a predetermined section constituting a median corridor 14 suitable for allowing easy passage for the personnel used for the control and care of the piglets, they are delimited by panels all indicated with 15.16 prefabricated, of which the front panels 16, are advantageously shaped so as to form a manger 17.

In correspondence with said plurality of cells 12, 13, in the slab 7, two channels 18, 19 of appropriate size are formed by casting, intended for the collection and discharge of the manure and slurry produced by the piglets during fattening. Said channels 18,19, which are open-air, are closed at the top of each cell 12,13 by conventional gratings, all indicated by 20.

The upper floor (slab 8) is divided by two transverse walls 21,21 ', centrally equipped with openings 21a and 21b respectively for the passage of the operators used for the control and care of the pigs, in three adjacent portions. In a lateral position, on the slab 8 and through prefabricated panels 22, 23 and 24, two infirmary compartments (25), two boar reception cells (26) and a plurality of

gestation sow reception cells (27;) In the central compartment two plurality of farrowing cells and piglets reception cells are arranged in opposite positions during a first weaning period. In particular, the latter cells are made up of cages with castle 28, of the type described and illustrated in the copending application CITTERIO 24756 A / 77 of 16 June 1977, cited here for reference.

In the other lateral portion, two plurality of opposing cells 30 are always formed by means of panels indicated with 16a and 29, prefabricated, for the reception of piglets in the phase of complete weaning. In the front panels 16a, feeders 17a are formed for said piglets. A compartment 31 is made laterally to these cells 30 to accommodate a load lift (not shown) intended for the transport of pigs (boars, sows, piglets), from the upper floor to the ground floor and vice versa.

Also in the upper slab 8 there are two channels 32, 33 intended for the collection and discharge of manure and slurry produced by the pigs, channels "which, in correspondence with the cells and cages previously mentioned, are covered by conventional type grates 34.

The building of this invention, thanks to the arrangement described above and illustrated in the attached drawings, allows the effective and effective completion of an entire pig breeding cycle, a cycle that can be repeated for an indefinite number of times. The advantages achieved by this building essentially consist;

- in the considerably reduced need for space (building areas 10) for the entire breeding cycle;

- in the possibility of centralizing for all the phases that make up this breeding cycle, the necessary and required air conditioning and conditioning equipment as well as devices and equipment for feeding pigs

15 and for cleaning all rooms.

Another advantage is given by the rapidity in putting the building into operation thanks to the adoption of prefabricated elements that constitute it.
