Abstract

The mechanism for setting to time combined with time-zoning includes a time-setting stem (8) which can occupy three positions determined by a jumper (9) and a setting lever (7). The pushed-in position of the stem is a rest position in which the clutch pinion is free. In a first pulled-out position of the stem (8), the clutch pinion meshes with the intermediate wheel (2) actuating, by way of a sliding gear pinion (1) and of an intermediate wheel (5), a wheel controlling the movement of the hour hand through 1/12 of a revolution. In a second pulled-out position of the stem (8), the clutch pinion again meshes with the intermediate wheel (2) and the latter with the sliding gear pinion (1) which is moved by an elastic blade (6) so that it meshes with the minute wheel (3). The elastic blade is actuated by an arm (7') of the setting lever (7) tensioning an elbow (6') of the blade (6). <IMAGE>
