Abstract

The seat comprises a seat panel (76) made of sheet metal, reinforced on the sides by U-shaped parts and comprising a convex cylindrical surface (94) and a concave part (95), seen from the top, imparting to it torsion resistance, a backrest panel (79) also comprising U-shaped parts (96) on the sides, a concave part (97) towards the front and a U-shaped part (98) open towards the rear at the upper part, and devices (72, 73) for fastening the panels to one another. By virtue of this structure, this seat is very resistant to impacts and can be manufactured economically. <IMAGE>
