Abstract
In this clock, the gear is integrated in the housing (1, 2) in a design without a bottom plate. With the exception of the axles, axle bushes, leaf spring (28) and pressure plate (29), it is produced from a thermoplastic formable by injection moulding and having a small temperature-related change in dimension and good sliding properties. An epicyclic planetary gear is arranged on the fixed axle (3). A second hypocycloidal planetary gear (10, 12, 13, 16, 17) is driven via the pinion (10) of the sun wheel (9), designed as a minute disc, by the toothed ring of the clock running wheel (7) belonging to the epicyclic gear. Its planet-wheel carrier (4) with external toothing is the second disc and is driven by a single-flight helical spring designed as a worm wheel. This forms the axle extension of a synchronous motor. In order to damp its noises as far as possible, the latter is suspended on prestressed springs. <IMAGE>
