5. A spinning device according to claim 1, characterized in that one of the flanges (15) is mounted on a square machined on the hub (13) of the voice coil (12).
The present invention relates to a spinning device.
In a currently known spinning device, it is a question of a wheel actuated by means of a pedal, and driving a spindle which allows the winding of a ball.
This device, more commonly called a spinning wheel, has the disadvantage of having a relatively slow production of woolen yarn, as well as a low winding capacity.
The spinning device, object of the present invention, completely overcomes the drawbacks mentioned above and has, in addition, the advantage of having easier manufacture.
The spinning device is characterized in that it comprises uprights supporting a hollow shaft which is provided with a movable comb provided with guide means, the shaft being arranged so as to receive a spool comprising lateral flanges and a pulley. training.
Fig. 1 is a schematic view, reduced, in elevation showing the spinning device.
Fig. 2 is a schematic view, reduced, in plan, in accordance with
fig. 1.
Fig. 3 is a schematic view, reduced, showing a
variant embodiment relating to the guide means.
With regard to fig. 1 and 2, we will now describe by way of example the device, object of the invention, which comprises a base plate 1 supporting uprights 2-3 which are arranged to receive a hollow shaft 4, provided with a rod 5, integral with
the hollow shaft 4, and whose end 10 rotates freely in the thrust bearing of the upright 2.
At one of the ends of the hollow shaft 4, a comb 6 has been rigidly fixed which comprises arms 7-8 provided with hooks 9.
The rod 5 serves as an axis for a spool 12 composed of a hub 13 and side flanges 14-15, the side flange 15 also being provided with a pulley 16 which drives the spool 12.
As can quickly be seen, the hollow shaft 4 is machined so as to have a clearance 17 which allows the axial locking of the hollow shaft 4 in the bearing of the support 3; more,
The hollow shaft 4 is still held down, on the radial plane, by means of a string 18 connected to an elastic (not shown), which is fixed to the hook 20.
The principle of operation is as follows:
After placing the spinning device on the table of a sewing machine, for example, the base plate 1 is fixed by means of clamps and a belt, of circular section, is mounted on the pulley 16 and on the sewing machine control wheel (not shown).
The virgin wool yarn is spun manually and then introduced through the opening 21, emerges through the opening 22, passes through one of the hooks 9 and is fixed by known means on the hub 13, or on the flange 14, which rotates around the rod 5.
When the spool 12 rotates, it drives, by inertia, the comb 6, respectively the arms 7-8, which also rotate at a different speed from the spool 13, thus allowing the rapid manufacture of a ball of wool on the hub 13 coil 12; in addition, it is possible to change the positioning of the woolen thread on another hook 9 so as to have a better distribution of the ball of wool on the hub 13 of the spool 12.
In an alternative embodiment, the flange 15 can be mounted on a square and, therefore, can be quickly dismantled for the release of the ball of wool which slides on the hub 13.
It will also be recalled that, in another variant embodiment (fig. 3), the hooks 9 are replaced by a ring 25 provided with a hook 26, which slides on the arm 7 and automatically allows the regular winding of the wire on the hub 13 of the coil 12.
