Abstract
This three-phase AC machine comprises a winding formed of twelve sub-groups of coils which can be powered in two different ways in order to obtain two different numbers of poles. Three first main sub-groups (A1, B1, C1) are connected in a triangle with three auxiliary terminals ( alpha , beta , gamma ). Three second main sub-groups (A2, B2, C2) are connected between, on the one hand, three main terminals (R, S, T) and, on the other hand, the three auxiliary terminals. Likewise for the three third main sub-groups (A3, B3, C3). In order to improve the ratio of the values of the torque of the machine in its high speed and low speed respectively, three additional sub-groups (A4, B4, C4) formed by coils different from those forming the nine main sub-groups are connected permanently in parallel with the first main sub-groups (A1, B1, C1). <IMAGE>
