Abstract

The goggles have a protective visor at least partly transparent, and a component movable in relation to the visor with a cleaning device for the transparent surface. This can be in the form of a slide movable across the visor, with top and bottom grooves by which it fits round the visor edges, its rest position being clear of the field of vision, the cleaning being effected by a pad of soft material in the component. Stops can be provided to limit the movement of the slide etc. also means for locking it in the rest position clear of the field of vision. Two slides can be provided, one working against the inner and the other against the outer face of the visor.

Description

The main patent relates to a protection device for the eyes comprising an at least partially transparent screen, as well as at least one cursor, movable relative to this screen. this cursor comprising at least one device for cleaning at least one zone of one of the faces of the transparent screen.

The device which is the subject of the present patent is distinguished by the fact that the cursor sweeps the entire transparent screen.

The accompanying drawing illustrates schematically, and by way of example. different embodiments of the protection device according to the invention.

Fig. I is a perspective view of a first embodiment.

Fig. 2 is a perspective view of a second embodiment.

Fig. 3 is a bottom view of the device illustrated in FIG. 2.

Fig. 4 is a sectional view along line IV-IV of fig.3.

Fig. 5 is a sectional view taken along the line V-V of FIG. 3.

Fig. 6 is a perspective view of a third embodiment.

In the first embodiment illustrated, the protection device comprises a frame 1 in one piece forming the sides and carrying a transparent screen 2 convex in its front part.

The free rear ends of the frame are connected by a clip or elastic.

A cursor 3, or mobile brush, conforms to the shape of the screen and is rotated at each of its ends on the screen or the mount in 4.

This broom can swivel the screen 2 up and down.

A spring 5 keeps this brush 3 in its high rest position. This spring can, for example, be placed in the joint.

The face of this brush 3 facing the screen 2 is provided with a cleaning device, for example formed by a strip of foamed synthetic material. Thus, when the user lowers the broom, it causes wiping and cleaning of the screen 2.

In the second embodiment, the device also comprises a frame 1 carrying a flat or curved screen 2 in its front part. This screen, illustrated in detail in fig. 3 to 5, is provided with two cursors 6, 7, one placed against the internal face of the screen and the other against the external face of this screen. These sliders are slidably mounted in grooves 8, 9 presented by the screen along its upper and lower edges.

Each slider is provided with a cleaning device 10 which can be constituted as described in the main patent.

In the rest position, the external cursor 7 is located, for example, as illustrated at the left end of the screen 2, while the internal cursor 6 is placed at the right end of this screen.

The two cursors 6, 7 are connected by one or two flexible links, so that, when the user moves one of the cursors, the external cursor, the other, the internal cursor, is automatically driven in a corresponding displacement of direction. reverse.

Thus, in a single operation, the inner and outer faces of the screen can be cleaned.

The third embodiment illustrated in FIG. 6 also comprises a frame 1 carrying a flat screen 2. A brush 3 is slidably mounted on this frame and moves vertically in front of the screen 2. This brush also includes a cleaning device making it possible to wipe the screen during its movement.

In a variant, the brush could have the shape of a ring and surround the screen 2. Cleaning of both sides of the screen is thus ensured.

It is obvious that, for each embodiment, the broom can be provided with different variants, described in the main patent, of the cleaning device.

Finally, the brush, or cursor, can be driven in its movement using a battery-powered motor and a mechanical transmission device.
