The present invention relates to a central exhaust system.
In claim I of the main patent, a central exhaust air system with a device for controlling the inlet openings of the same is described, which is characterized in that the respective room to be ventilated is assigned a control element through which a shut-off device in the exhaust air opening assigned to this room can be actuated via an actuator is, and that the shut-off device can be opened against the action of a reset device.
The present invention has set itself the goal of specifying a central exhaust air system of the type mentioned, which can be produced without great effort.
The exhaust air system according to the invention is characterized by a frame which has a round inner exhaust air opening in which a round and axially displaceable shut-off body is located, the shut-off body being connected to an actuating device.
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The exhaust air system has a round frame 1 which is inserted into a duct 3 which is made in the wall 2 of the room to be ventilated. The other end of this channel opens into a collecting channel 4 in which there is a central exhaust air ventilation (not shown).
The inner wall of the frame 1 has a conically running section 5 and a cylindrical section 6, so that an edge 7 is created at the transition point between these two sections 5 and 6 of the frame. The end of the cylindrical section 6 facing away from the edge 7 has ribs 8 which carry a lifting magnet 9 which serves as an actuating device for a shut-off body 16, which is described in more detail below. The central ends of the ribs 8 are connected to one another by means of a hub 10, the inner wall of which is provided with a thread 11. A screw attachment 12 is screwed into the hub 10 and protrudes from the end wall 24 of the housing 13 of the lifting magnet 9. The screw attachment 12 is provided with a bore 14 in which an actuating rod 15 is mounted with play.
The actuating rod 15 is connected at one end to the shut-off body 16 of the exhaust air opening 17, which is delimited by the inner wall of the frame 1. The shut-off body 16 is a round plate, the side wall 18 of which is also conical. The angle a, however, which encloses the side wall 18 with the rear larger wall 19 of the shut-off body 16, is smaller than an angle ss which extends between the rear larger wall 19 of the shut-off body 16 and the conical part 5 of the inner wall of the frame 1.
As a result, a line contact is created between the frame 1 and the shut-off body 16 along the edge 7, which ensures good, noiseless blocking of the exhaust air opening 17 that can be achieved with minimal effort.
The other end of the actuating rod 15 is connected to the core 20 of the electromagnet 9. This end of the actuating rod 15 can be connected to the core 20 either rigidly or with the aid of a thread 21. The core 20 has a recess 22 in which a return spring 23 is supported at one end, the other end of this return spring 23 resting against the inside of the right end wall 24 of the lifting magnet 9.
The core 20 is surrounded by the winding 25 of the lifting magnet 9. On the housing 13 of the lifting magnet 9 there is a relay 26 with delayed release, which controls the lifting magnet and which serves as a device for the delayed shutdown of the actuating device 9. This relay 26 is actuated by a switching contact (not shown) typical for the room to be ventilated.
The operation of the exhaust system described is as follows:
In the individual rooms to be ventilated, the exhaust air opening is only kept open when the rooms are in use and for some time afterwards in order to ensure good post-ventilation. The exhaust air openings of the rooms connected to the central exhaust air system but not used at the same time remain closed automatically.
The automatic opening is activated by the light switch, a light barrier, a foot contact or another switch contact that is typical for the corresponding room.
When the switching contact, which is typical for the room to be ventilated, is actuated, the relay 26 is energized with a drop-out delay, whereby the winding 25 of the lifting magnet 9 is immediately energized. The core 20 of the solenoid 9 is shifted to the right against the action of the return spring 23, after which the shut-off body 16 opens the exhaust air opening 17. This enables the central exhaust fan, not shown in the drawing, to extract air through the exhaust opening 1 from the room to be ventilated.
After the switching contact, which is typical for the room to be ventilated, has been interrupted, the delay time begins to run on relay 26. After the delay time has elapsed, the relay 26 interrupts the power supply to the winding 25 of the electromagnet 9, as a result of which the core 20 is pressed to the left by the return spring 23 and the shut-off element 16 also engages with the sealing edge 7 of the frame 1. This prevents the air from being further sucked out of the space mentioned.
If it is desired to have always ensured a certain minimum air discharge even after the delay time of the relay 26 has expired, either the shut-off body 16 can be provided with bores 27 and / or the frame with grooves 28. The grooves 28 can, for example, be milled out in the already finished frame 1 or already formed during the manufacture of the same.
The exhaust air opening 17 can be kept open while the room is in use, not only by a lifting magnet, but also by means of an electric motor, a pneumatic circuit or the like. The relay dropout can be delayed electronically, electromechanically, mechanically, thermally or pneumatically. The shut-off body 16 can also be closed again under the action of gravity.
As a variant, it is possible to keep the exhaust air opening 17 open only while the room is being used and to close it again immediately after leaving the room, i. H.
that the delay circuit is omitted.
If necessary, the maximum air volume can be made adjustable. This can be achieved by screwing the actuating rod 15 more or less into the core 20 of the electromagnet 9, for which purpose the rear surface of the core 20 has a slot for the purpose of placing a screwdriver on it. A second possibility is that the screw shoulder 14 on the lifting magnet 9 is more or less screwed into the hub 10. Of course, these two possibilities can also be used at the same time.
The frame 1 can also be designed without the collar-shaped edge 29, so that the outer wall of the frame is cylindrical and the entire device can be accommodated in the channel 3.
The advantages of the exhaust system just described are as follows:
Only one axial movement (pushing or pulling) with only one moving part and one return spring is required to regulate the exhaust air extraction. The exhaust air opening is kept round and the sealing point 7 only has line contact. The sealing point can thus be manufactured in a simple manner in terms of production and there are hardly any whistling noises when the exhaust air opening 17 is closed. The maximum amount of air can be varied in a simple manner by limiting the stroke of the shut-off body 16. A minimum amount of air when the automatic system is not activated can easily be achieved by making holes 27 or grooves 28 in the closing area with a variable number and / or size. Significant energy savings are also achieved in winter because significantly less warm air is extracted.
If less heat is extracted, the heating output of the entire heating system can also be dimensioned smaller. There are no vacuum problems in rooms with tightly closing windows, i.e. H.
that due to the negative pressure generated by the suction, the doors can no longer close properly or can hardly be opened. Another advantage is that a more pleasant indoor climate can be achieved in summer because significantly less air is drawn into the building when the outside temperature is high. This keeps the room temperature lower and therefore more pleasant.
