Abstract
The capillary tube holder for chromatographic analysis samples has a base plate (1) with a locating bar (16) against which the silica gel coated glass slide (22) is positioned, with a block (3) mounted on slides above the locating bar, for sideways travel, and supporting in turn an arm to which the capillary tube (13) is attached. The arm has a front part (11) with a magnetic block (12) by which the capillary tube is retained, and has a rear part (7) which is screw threaded and carrying a balance weight (6) which can thus move along the arm for adjustment. This arm pivots about a rod (9) supported by the sliding block (3). The capillary tube can swing about the axis of the arm, and carries a sliding sleeve (13) and finger grip, the sleeve permitting the magnetic attachment.
