Fig. 4 desgleichen entsprechend der Linie A-B der Fig. 3 gesehen.

The invention relates to a drain arrangement for the structural drainage of a ceiling or a floor with a support flange that struts laterally from the drain housing and engages under the cover and insulating layer of the ceiling or the floor and with an earth connection.
Such a drain, for which there is no prototype, is characterized according to the invention in that the ground connection on the drain housing is arranged at most flush with the top of the support flange.
With these measures, it is now possible to protect against contact voltages to earth processes and thus significantly reduce the risk to persons, with the earth line being conveniently laid on the ceiling or on the floor before the insulation and screed layer is applied to the support flange without the insulating layer being broken through and without the subsequently installed insulating layer being endangered primarily by the connection elements of the earth line.
This advantage is particularly important when pipelines made of plastic are connected to the drains and when plastic film is used to form an insulating layer.
It can be particularly advantageous if the tab is attached to the drain housing by spot welding. This has the advantage, among other things, that the tab carrying the grounding screw can be arranged at any point on the support flange according to the respective structural requirements, without the mold of the drain housing having to be changed.
It is now also possible to produce only the tab from a material that conducts electricity well in order to achieve low electrical contact resistance.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings and are described in more detail below.
Show it:
Fig. 1 is a mounted ceiling drain in the front view, partially broken away,
FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of a ceiling drain according to the representation according to FIG. 1,
3 shows a part of a wider embodiment in the front view, partially broken away,
4 is also seen along line A-B of FIG.
Both ceiling drains share a drain housing 1, for example made of gray cast iron, with an integrally formed support flange 2 and a pipe socket 3, as well as a cylindrical inlet frame 4 with a square flange 5 and a releasably inserted grate 6, which is vertically adjustable and rotatable relative to the drain housing I.
Furthermore, a tab 7 made of sheet steel is fastened to the underside of the support flange 2 by means of a spot weld 8 in such a way that the tab 7 protrudes laterally above the support flange 2, and the grounding screw 9 screwed into a threaded hole in the tab 7 over the top of the support flange 2 molded annular and endless sealing lip 10 does not protrude.
A grounding line 11 is connected by means of the grounding screw 9 in such a way that the subsequently applied insulating layer 12, which extends beyond the support flange 2, cannot be damaged by the connection elements of the grounding line 11.
A screed layer 13 is arranged over the insulating layer 12.
In FIG. 2, a second grounding screw 9 'is also mounted in the flange 5 of the inlet frame 4, to which a second grounding line 11' laid over the insulating layer 12 is connected.
Under certain circumstances, namely with insulating layers made of plastic insulating compounds such as asphalt, it is also possible to connect an electrical line (not shown), which is connected to the grounding screw 9 'at one end and to the grounding screw 9' at the other end 1 and the inlet frame 4 to be bridged electrically.
3 and 4, the sheet steel tab 7 carrying the grounding screw 9 has been inserted into the correspondingly designed casting mold, so that the tab is permanently welded to the casting, i.e. the drain housing 1, when the metal is poured into the casting mold.
