Description
Fig. 3 enthält den Stahlhalter mit der Schneidevorrichtung.
PATENTANSPRUCH

UNTERANSPRUCH

The invention relates to a drill head for long hole drilling.
The drill heads for long hole drilling that have hitherto appeared on the market are equipped with a cutting plate soldered into the drill head itself or on a special steel support.
The disadvantage with these is that the guides are all soldered onto the drill head and, like the cutting plate, have to be unsoldered and re-soldered after grinding. This requires a large number of costly drill heads and inserts to be kept in stock.
The object of the invention is to develop a drill head in which the replacement with new drill heads, the costly replacement of steel beams and the regrinding of the cutting plates are eliminated.
The drill head according to the invention is now characterized in that the guides and the cutting plates are replaceably attached to the drill head body.
In the following, an embodiment of the invention is described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing.
Fig. 1 shows the drill head body 1 made of tempered steel, ground on the diameter. At the foot there is an internal flat thread 16 which enables it to be placed on a commercially available boring bar. The coolant channel 17 is drilled axially.
The millings for the steel holder 2 and for the two hard metal guides 11 and for the plastic guides 14 are milled into the drill body.
The hard metal guides 11 are clamped to an insert 12 by means of a screw with a left and right thread 13; they are easily exchangeable after sanding.
The plastic guides 14 are clamped in place by means of two screws 15.
The drill head body with the guides used is ground precisely to the target size to be drilled.
Fig. 2 shows the drill head in section A-A with the screw 10 of the steel holder.
Fig. 3 contains the steel holder with the cutting device.
With the screws 9 and 10 the steel holder 2 is brought into the correct cutting geometry and tightened with the screw 3 on the drill head body. The support plate 4 attached to the steel holder with the screw 5 serves as a support for the cutting plate 6. The cutting plate 6 is pushed with the chip breaker 7 to the guide walls in the steel holder and clamped with the screw 8 (see also FIG. 1). After sanding down, the triangular cutting plate can be used again by 1/3 turn.
Achievable benefits
The time-consuming soldering out and soldering of the hard metal plates and hard metal guides as well as the regrinding of the hard metal cutting edges are no longer necessary. As the cutting plates can be changed quickly, the drill head can be reused without wasting time. In addition, the optimal carbide quality can always be used. This cuts production time by around 50%. The storage of replacement heads is limited to one or two pieces.
PATENT CLAIM
Drill head for long hole drilling, characterized in that the guides and the cutting plates are attached to the drill head body in an exchangeable manner.
SUBClaim
Drilling head according to patent claim, characterized in that the cutting plates are triangular and can be exchanged after being ground or reused after a 9/3 turn.
