Herstellung kunstharzgebundener Spanplatten bekannten
Fig. 3 zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel für die Breitenverteileinrichtung.

The invention relates to a method for the production of cement-bonded chipboard or fiber boards, in particular building boards from wood chips, bagasse, flax or other wood-like fibers, in which the bulk material consisting of a mixture of chips or fibers with cement and water is placed on a molding base sprinkled and then pressed and dried to form the finished plate. A device with a conveyor belt receiving the bulk material and a shaping belt downstream of the latter is used to carry out the method.
In the manufacture of cement-bonded building boards, a raw material mixture of wood chips, cement and water is essentially processed. Instead of wood chips, other chips, for example bagasse, flax or hemp chips, etc., can also be used. With the usual use of wood chips, the proportion of wood chips is around 20% of the total weight of the raw material mixture. For pouring and pressing this raw material mixture, however, it must be brought as evenly as possible onto conveyor belts or other forming substrates and then pressed in layers of at least approximately the width of the finished panels. From these layers, the panels are usually a few meters long and about 1 to 2 m wide.
Given the usual nature of the chips, which differ in shape, size and weight for various reasons, it can hardly be avoided in practice that the density and thus also the strength of the finished panels without having to take particularly complex measures up to 20 so fluctuate.
These disadvantages stand in the way of economical production of such panels using the so-called flow process, that is, with the continuous pouring of the chips onto the molding supports to form a molding ready for press.
With the invention, the object is to create a method and a device for performing the method, which enables a simple and economical in practice, continuous production of ready-to-press moldings as well as finished, cement-bonded panels, which over the entire cross-section of uniform density and consistently high strength.
It is known per se in the production of synthetic resin-bonded chipboard to dose the swarf to be poured in terms of volume and / or weight. This at the
Production of resin-bonded chipboard known
However, measures are not applicable to the continuous production of cement-bound panels without further bar, because when producing such cement-bound panels, the proportions of the cement and especially the water in the
Raw material mix fluctuates far too much and the mix shows a completely different behavior when pouring.
The mentioned task is in a method for
According to the invention, the production of cement-bound panels is solved by the fact that before the bulk material is scattered on the
Forming pad this bulk material is initially pre-dosed volumetrically in the layer and this volumetrically dosed layer is temporarily subjected to a pre-pressing pressure which at least approximately corresponds to the pressure to which the molding is subjected to form the finished plate and that the degree of compression of the volumetrically pre-dosed Layer is used as a variable for controlling the feed speed of the discharge belt.
The idea of the solution of the invention is accordingly to first use the ready mixed raw material, that is to say the
Wood chips, mixed with cement and water, are volumetrically pre-metered and the layer thus formed, which has at least approximately the width of the final plate, is temporarily exposed to a pressing pressure which at least approximately corresponds to the pressure of the raw material at the end of the flow process in the press - and drying device experiences.
If the bulk material, ie the raw material, consists of coarse and thus loosely heaped chips in the volumetrically pre-dosed layer, then it is more strongly compressed during the pre-pressing; conversely, there is less compression when the chip-cement-water mixture to be poured consists of fine chips, because these are already much closer together than coarser chips during the volumetric pre-metering.
You can now use the different degree of compression as a control variable for the feed speed of the discharge belt.
The speed of advance of the discharge belt is advantageously kept higher the more the volumetrically pre-metered bulk material layer is temporarily compressed and vice versa.
In this control process, it is advantageous if the speed of the conveyor belt, at the end of which the material to be poured is thrown off, is changed with a certain delay, the magnitude of which is determined by the time that the material to be poured on its way from the Pre-pressing device required up to the discharge point of the tape.
The degree of compression of the volumetrically pre-dosed layer and thus the size for controlling the feed speed of the discharge belt can be determined in a simple manner if the respective height of the pre-pressing device is measured against a fixed reference value. This can be done in a simple manner, for example, in that a press roller is provided as the pre-pressing device, the height of which is measured in relation to the actual conveyor belt which feeds the bulk material to the press roller.
According to the invention, a structurally simple and economical device for carrying out this method consists in that the conveyor belt on which the material to be poured is transported in the direction of the discharge point is assigned a volumetric predosing device, which is followed by at least one pre-pressing device that is height-adjustable compared to the conveyor belt and where Means for measuring the height of the pre-pressing device with respect to the conveyor belt or another fixed reference point as well as means for controlling the speed of the conveyor belt as a function of the respective height position of the pre-pressing device with respect to the transport belt are provided.
The volumetric pre-metering device can expediently consist of at least one return strip known per se, which is assigned to the conveyor belt in a height-adjustable manner. A forming belt can be assigned to the conveyor belt below the discharge point, onto which the discharged bulk material arrives and which is expediently moved at a constant speed in the direction of the pressing device.
The invention is described below using two exemplary embodiments, with further details of the invention also being explained:
Fig. 1 shows in side view and in a schematic representation an embodiment of a device according to the invention.
FIG. 2 shows an expanded embodiment of the embodiment shown in principle in FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 shows an embodiment for the width distribution device.
The bulk material, such as a mixture of wood chips, cement and water or a mixture of other chips such as bagasse, hemp, flax or the like. Shavings, also mixed with water and cement, are applied to the conveyor belt 1. The bulk material is denoted by 2 in the figures. The device 3 for volumetric dosing of the bulk material on the conveyor belt 1 is assigned to the conveyor belt 1. In the exemplary embodiment, it consists of the return belt 3, which pushes the bulk material 2 back upwards in the direction of arrow 3a and feeds it to another return belt 3 ', which is in Arrow direction 3b, opposite to the feed direction 4 of the conveyor belt 1, moved. The return strips 3, 3 'effect the volumetric predosing of the bulk material and place this at a layer height corresponding to the set height of the return strip 3.
The width of the volumetrically metered bulk material layer 2 'corresponds at least to the width of the finished cement-bound plate to be pressed later.
The volumetric pre-metering device 3, 3 'is followed by a pre-pressing device consisting of a press roller 5. The bulk material arriving at a volumetrically pre-dosed layer height 2 'is temporarily subjected to a pressing pressure by the pressing roller 5 which corresponds at least approximately to the final pressing pressure in the actual pressing and drying device. If the layer 2 'consists of coarse chips, then it is pressed together more strongly by the press roller 5, while a layer 2' made of fine chips is pressed together less strongly.
The press roller 5 therefore occupies a lower position compared to the stationary machine frame, for example the height of the conveyor belt 1 with a loosely pre-poured layer 2 ', compared to a machine-fixed point, for example the center of the counter roller 5', than in a layer 2 'made of finer chips, there these can be less squeezed.
This different height position of the press roller 5 as a function of the density of the volumetrically predosed layer 2 'is used as a control variable for the drive device of the conveyor belt 1. This belt drive device is accordingly influenced in such a way that as the height decreases, i.e. a smaller distance between the press roller 5 and the conveyor belt 1 or another fixed reference point, the belt speed is increased because the material lying in the layer 2 'is loose.
The higher belt speed has the effect that at the end of the belt 1 at the discharge point, by means of a discharge roller 6, more material is thrown in the unit of time onto the forming substrate 7, which is moved uniformly in the direction of arrow 7a below the conveyor belt 1. In the case of finer chips in the pre-metered layer 2 ', the press roller 5 will occupy a higher position compared to the conveyor belt 1, accordingly more pre-pressed bulk material reaches the discharge point and thus in the area of the discharge roller 6, so that the speed of the conveyor belt 1 can be slowed down, so that in the unit of time the same amount of bulk material is sprinkled onto the molding pad 7 at the discharge point as when coarser material is discharged at a correspondingly controlled belt speed.
The arrangement of a special throwing roller 6 at the discharge point of the conveyor belt 1 is expedient because the material reaching the discharge point of the conveyor belt 1 is compressed as a result of the pre-pressing by the pressure roller 5 and is thus loosened up by the throwing roller 6 in order to avoid uneven discharge due to the formation of clumps . According to the speed of the conveyor belt 1 influenced by the press roller 5, the material thrown by the throwing roller 6 is distributed much more evenly than immediately after the volumetric metering of the layer 2 'onto the forming belt 7, on which individual conveyor plates 9 can lie. The material is dropped in a wide arc 8, with the heavier particles generally flying further than the lighter ones.
The molding poured onto the individual sheets 9 finally arrives in the direction of arrow 7a on the lower belt 7 to a lifting station (not shown), where they are then stacked on top of one another and brought into a pressing device in which the cement-bonded chipboard is pressed and tied into finished panels.
It has been shown that the cement-bonded wood chipboard produced by the process according to the invention has a surprisingly uniform density and thus a significantly higher strength than the boards produced by the known processes.
The method according to the invention can be further improved if a leveling roller 11 is provided on the lower molding belt 7 to even out the height of the poured molding 10. The height of this leveling roller 11 above the shaping belt 7 with metal sheets 9 is advantageously chosen so that excess material is spread out laterally and finally wiped off. This additional device is particularly useful when larger panel widths are to be produced in which, due to the large width of the panels, certain irregularities in the height of the material occur more easily than with narrower panels.
When adjusting the height of this equalizing roller 11, however, it should be noted that it must be designed to be height-adjustable. If only coarse and therefore loose material is thrown onto the forming belt 7 by the throwing roller 6 according to the control described, then the poured molding 10 has a correspondingly greater bulk height than if only finer bulk material is scattered onto the molding belt. In this case, the height of the leveling roller 11a must be increased accordingly, so that this leveling roller 11 does not undesirably remove the bulk material from the side of coarser chips, whereby the finished board would have an undesirably uneven density.
Conversely, the leveling roller 11 must be at a lower height than the forming belt 7 or the metal sheets 9 if only finer material is thrown off and the height of the molding 10 is correspondingly smaller.
When regulating the height of the equalizing roller 11, as well as when controlling the belt speed of the conveyor belt 1, depending on the respective height of the pressure roller 5, it must be taken into account that the height of the equalizing roller 11 is only changed when the material dropped by the discharge roller 6, For example, loose material has actually reached the leveling roller.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, a further improvement of the device according to the invention is provided. Here, a spiked roller 12 is provided between the volumetric metering device 3 and the press roller 5, which is preferably followed by a screw roller 13.
The spiked roller 12 loosens the volumetrically pre-dosed material and then the screw roller 13 also makes it even in the width direction. This additional device 12, 13 is particularly useful when larger plate widths are to be produced.
In Fig. 3, an expedient embodiment of the width adjustment device is shown schematically. It is designed as a screw with counter-rotating screws 13a, 13b lying on an axis. The two screws 13a, 13b convey excess material to the left and right, respectively, so that exactly the same bulk height is achieved over the entire width of the belt 1. The excess material thrown off to the left and right of the conveyor belt 1 can be collected there and returned to the store. The width distribution device 13 is necessary because the return strip 3 is expediently set in such a way that it is constantly driven with a small excess of bulk material.
The method according to the invention can be used in the production of single or multi-layer panels; however, it is usually the case that the outer layers of z. B.
three-layer panels are less thick than the middle layer; accordingly, the thinner outer layers consist of more uniform raw material, so that, as a rule, it is essentially the middle layer that has to be made uniform by the method according to the invention.
