Das Hauptpatent Nr. 523 669 bezieht sich auf einen Ver schluss für Schuh, insbesondere Skischuh, bei dem an den Rändern der zusammenzuziehenden Schliesslappen Zugla schen befestigt und die Zuglaschen mit einer dazwischenlie genden, um ihre Achse drehbaren Scheibe aussermittig in sol cher Weise gelenkig verbunden sind, dass sie bei Drehung der Scheibe auseinandergehen oder zusammengezogen werden.
Dieser Verschluss zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Scheibe wenigstens zum Teil als Malteserkreuz ausgebildet ist; dass die Zuglaschen je durch ein pleuelartiges Verbin dungselement mit der Scheibe gelenkig verbunden sind; dass in den Vorsprüngen des Malteserkreuzes eine radiale Füh rungsnut ausgespart ist, in die jeweils ein auf einem in einer Ebene parallel zu derjenigen der Scheibe drehbaren Antriebs element aussermittig angeordneter Zapfen eingreifen und die Scheibe drehen kann;
dass das Antriebselement höchstens zwei Zapfen aufweist, sowie einen Nocken mit zwei konvexen Stirnflächen, die beim Drehen des Antriebselementes abwechslungsweise in die mit gleichem Radius ausgebildeten Einbuchtungen des Malteserkreuzes zu liegen kommen und dabei eine Sperre mit diesen bilden.
Die als Malteserkreuz ausgebildete Scheibe, die zweck- mässigerweise im übrigen kreisrund ist, weist vorzugsweise zwei oder drei Kreuzvorsprünge und infolgedessen drei bzw. vier Einbuchtungen auf, wobei drei bzw. vier Ruhestellungen der Zuglaschen möglich sind. Wenn zwei Kreuzvorsprünge vorhanden sind (in einem Winkel von 60 voneinander), besitzt die Scheibe auch zwei Führungsnuten für das Eingrei fen der Zapfen.
Die erfindungsgemässe Weiterbildung dieses Verschlusses ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Zugseilstränge vorgesehen sind, die mittels Halteteilen an den Rändern der Schliesslap- pen lösbar befestigt und andernends mit der drehbaren Scheibe verbunden sind, und dass der Verschluss am freien Ende einer aufklappbaren Zunge befestigt ist, die ihrerseits an ihrem gegenüberliegenden Ende in der Nähe der Stelle des Schuhes befestigt ist, wo die Trennung der Schliesslappen beginnt.
Die Halteteile können dabei mit einem Knopf versehen sein, der in eine Öse am freien Ende des Zugseilstranges ein geführt und auf diese Weise mit dem Zugseilstrang verbunden wird. Nach einer besonders zweckmässigen Ausführungsform sind die freien Enden der Zugseilstränge mit je einem Nippel fest verbunden und wirken mit passenden Halteteilen zusam men. Es kann vorteilhaft sein, die Halteteile in Zugrichtung federnd auszubilden, sei es z. B. durch eine Metallfeder oder durch ein gummiartiges Federelement.
Die Zeichnung zeigt besonders vorteilhafte Ausführungs beispiele des Verschlusses nach der Erfindung.

Mit 10 ist der Verschluss bezeichnet, dessen Konstruktion im wesentlichen aus den Fig. 1 bis 8 des Hauptpatentes her vorgeht. Durch Drehen des Betätigungsgriffes 11 lassen sich die Zugseilstränge 12 auseinanderschieben oder zusammen ziehen. Die Zugseilstränge 12 sind hier an ihrem freien Ende mit einem Nippel 13 versehen, der dazu bestimmt ist, mit einem passenden Halteteil 14 zusammenzuwirken. Die Halte teile 14 sind auf den Schliesslappen 15 bzw. 16 durch Niete befestigt. Der Verschluss 10 ist gegen das freie Ende der Zunge 17 in diese z. B. durch Einschnappen befestigt, während das andere Ende der Zunge 17 mit dem Schuhoberteil aufklapp bar verbunden ist.
An ihrem oberen Ende greifen die Schliesslappen 15 und 16 in Schliessstellung übereinander.
Bezüglich der Fig. 3, 4 und 5 wird auf die entsprechenden Fig. 3 bzw. 8 bzw. 4 des Hauptpatentes hingewiesen.
Das Gehäuse 18 (33 im Hauptpatent) hat, im Gegensatz zu demjenigen nach dem Hauptpatent, einen Drehzapfen 19 anstelle einer Bohrung, um den die Scheibe 20 (14 im Haupt patent) mittels einer Distanzbüchse 21 und durch Anstau- chen des Drehzapfens 19 drehbar befestigt ist. Die Einlage 22 aus Nylon (geschütztes Warenzeichen) erleichtert die gleiten den Bewegungen. Ausserdem ist sie mit ausgesparten Führun gen 23 für die Zugseilstränge 12 versehen.
Anstelle der pleuel- artigen Verbindungselemente 13 im Hauptpatent sind die Zugseilstränge 12 mittels der Nippelösen 24 an den Achsen 25 (19 im Hauptpatent) angelenkt. Das Gehäuse 18 und der Deckel 26 sind im Gegensatz zu den entsprechenden Teilen im Hauptpatent kreisrund.
Ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel ist in den Fig. 6 bis 8 ver anschaulicht.
Fig. 6 ist eine Hinteransicht des Verschlusses in geöffneter Stellung bei abgehobenem Deckel, Fig. 7 eine Hinteransicht des Verschlusses in geschlossener Stellung bei abgehobenem Deckel, Fig. 8 ein Schnitt längs der Linie B-B von Fig. 6 mit ange brachtem Deckel.
Mit 10 ist der Verschluss bezeichnet, dessen Konstruktion wiederum im wesentlichen aus den Fig. 1 bis 8 des Hauptpa tentes weitgehend hervorgeht. Wie in der Weiterentwicklung, die an einem Beispiel anhand der Fig. 1 bis 5 veranschaulicht ist, erfolgt das Schliessen des Verschlusses 10 durch Seilzug. Das in vorliegendem Beispiel mit 17 bezeichnete Seil ist ein- stückig und in seiner Mitte mit einem angelöteten zylindrischen Nippel 28 versehen. In Abweichung des ersten Ausführungs beispiels ist die Scheibe 29 (14 im Hauptpatent) in Axial richtung einstückig mit einer Seilrolle 30 versehen, in deren Bohrung 31 der Nippel 28 eingelegt ist.
Die beiden Enden des Seiles 27 liegen in einander gegenüberliegenden Aussparun gen 32 der Seilrolle 30. In der Einlage 33 aus Nylon sind Füh rungen 34 für die beiden Enden des Seiles 27 vorgesehen. Beim Drehen des Betätigungsknopfes 11 wird die Scheibe 29 und mit ihr die Seilrolle 30 rotiert, wobei je nach Drehrich tung das Seil auf- oder abgewickelt wird. Es lässt sich ein län gerer Zug bewerkstelligen als mit der Ausführung nach den Fig. 1 bis 5 (bei Erhöhung der Zahl der Einbuchtungen des Malteserkreuzes). An beiden Enden des Seiles 27 sind Nip pel 35 angelötet oder sonstwie fest verbunden, die in passende Halteteile 14 eingreifen.

The disk designed as a Maltese cross, which is expediently otherwise circular, preferably has two or three cross projections and consequently three or four indentations, three or four rest positions of the pull tabs being possible. If there are two cross projections (at an angle of 60 degrees from each other), the washer also has two guide grooves for engaging the tenons.
The further development of this lock according to the invention is characterized in that pull cords are provided which are releasably attached to the edges of the locking tabs by means of holding parts and are connected to the rotatable disk at the other end, and that the lock is attached to the free end of a hinged tongue, which in turn is attached at its opposite end near the point on the shoe where the separation of the closing flaps begins.
The holding parts can be provided with a button which is guided into an eyelet at the free end of the pull rope and is connected in this way to the pull rope. According to a particularly expedient embodiment, the free ends of the pull cord strands are firmly connected to a nipple each and work together with suitable holding parts. It may be advantageous to make the holding parts resilient in the pulling direction, be it z. B. by a metal spring or by a rubber-like spring element.
The drawing shows particularly advantageous embodiment examples of the closure according to the invention.

The closure is denoted by 10, the construction of which proceeds essentially from FIGS. 1 to 8 of the main patent. By turning the operating handle 11, the pull cords 12 can be pushed apart or pulled together. The pull cord strands 12 are provided here at their free end with a nipple 13 which is intended to interact with a suitable holding part 14. The holding parts 14 are attached to the closing tabs 15 and 16 by rivets. The closure 10 is against the free end of the tongue 17 in this z. B. fastened by snapping, while the other end of the tongue 17 is connected to the upper part hinged bar.
At their upper end, the closing tabs 15 and 16 engage one above the other in the closed position.
With regard to FIGS. 3, 4 and 5, reference is made to the corresponding FIGS. 3, 8 and 4 of the main patent.
The housing 18 (33 in the main patent) has, in contrast to that according to the main patent, a pivot 19 instead of a bore, around which the disc 20 (14 in the main patent) is rotatably fastened by means of a spacer sleeve 21 and by ramming the pivot 19 is. The insert 22 made of nylon (registered trademark) facilitates the sliding movements. It is also provided with recessed guides 23 for the pull cords 12.
Instead of the connecting rod-like connecting elements 13 in the main patent, the pull rope strands 12 are articulated to the axles 25 (19 in the main patent) by means of the nipple loops 24. The housing 18 and the cover 26 are circular in contrast to the corresponding parts in the main patent.

With the closure 10 is referred to, the construction of which in turn largely emerges largely from FIGS. 1 to 8 of the Hauptpa tentes. As in the further development, which is illustrated using an example with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5, the closure 10 is closed by means of a cable pull. The rope denoted by 17 in the present example is in one piece and provided in its center with a cylindrical nipple 28 which is soldered on. In a departure from the first embodiment, the washer 29 (14 in the main patent) is provided in one piece in the axial direction with a pulley 30, in whose bore 31 the nipple 28 is inserted.
The two ends of the rope 27 lie in opposing Aussparun gene 32 of the pulley 30. In the insert 33 made of nylon Füh ments 34 for the two ends of the rope 27 are provided. When turning the operating button 11, the disc 29 and with it the pulley 30 rotates, depending on the direction of rotation, the rope is wound up or unwound. A longer train can be achieved than with the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 5 (when the number of indentations in the Maltese cross is increased). At both ends of the rope 27 nipples 35 are soldered or otherwise firmly connected, which engage in suitable holding parts 14.
