Drahtwickelmaschine

Wire winding machine
The present invention relates to a wire winding machine.
In wire winding machines in general, and in particular in automatic wire winding machines, the task is to fix the piece of wire coming from the wire reel and possibly leading to an already wound coil for a new winding process, before the connection to the already wound coil is severed. Devices are already known in which this object is achieved to such an extent that body coils can be wound automatically. The piece of wire is fixed with the help of the still empty new bobbin and then the connection to the already wound bobbin is cut off. However, the known devices are not suitable for the automatic winding of coreless coils.
The present invention now aims to provide a wire winding machine which is able to achieve this object.
The wire winding machine according to the invention with at least one rotatably mounted winding mandrel and a drive device is characterized by a winding spindle which is coaxial at least during winding to the winding mandrel and which is coupled to the drive device and which is overhung in a spindle sleeve, a wire clamping element and a wire cutting element in the axial direction relative to one another carries displaceable parts and together with the axially displaceable winding mandrel delimits a bobbin space, actuating means for opening and closing the bobbin space as well as for actuating the wire clamping element and for generating the cutting action of the wire cutting element by axial displacement of the winding mandrel.
The wire winding machine according to the invention allows through the aforementioned training and with a corresponding further training, not only to fix the wire directly on the spindle rotating with the winding mandrel but also to cut off the connection to the coil wound in the previous winding process in such a way that the wire is directly at the clamping point is cut off.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the wire winding machine according to the invention. Show it:
Fig. 1 the wire winding machine with turret attachment in section along the line 1-1 in Fig. 2,
FIG. 2 shows the turret attachment in the view according to direction A in FIG. 1,
3 shows the winding spindle insert and the winding mandrel in the winding position,
Fig. 4 spindle insert and mandrel according to FIG. 3 in the wire braking position and
5 shows a part of the machine on a larger scale.
In FIG. 1, 10 generally denotes a wire winding machine which has a drive motor 12, a gear 14 and a stop table 20. The gear 14 is in engagement with a wire guide device 18 arranged on the stop table 20 and a spindle sleeve 16. In the spindle sleeve 16, a cutting sleeve 26 is mounted in a rotationally fixed manner, which in turn receives a spindle sleeve 22 and a spindle insert, consisting of a spindle head 24 and a spindle journal 25. The cutting sleeve 26, the spindle sleeve 22 and the spindle insert 24, 25 are in a rotationally fixed engagement with one another. The spindle head 24 is also mounted in the spindle sleeve 22 so as to be axially displaceable by means of the pin 25. The end face 29 of the spindle sleeve 22 and the opposite end face 27 of the winding spindle 21 together form a pair of clamping jaws.
The spindle sleeve 22, together with the insert 24, 25 and the cutting sleeve 26, forms a winding spindle 21 which is fastened in the spindle sleeve 16 in an exchangeable manner.
A turret attachment, generally designated 30, is attached to the support table 20, it being possible for it to be provided such that it can be displaced in the axial direction of the spindle sleeve 16.
The revolver attachment 30 has a carrier 31. Parallel to the axis of the spindle sleeve 16, a shaft journal 34 is mounted on the carrier 31 in bearings 36, on the end of which facing the gear 14 a disc-shaped turret table 32 is attached.
The other end of the pin 35 is firmly connected to a piston rod 38, at whose end facing away from the pin 35 a piston 40 is firmly held by means of a screw 42. On the piston rod 38 and connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner, a sleeve 44 is mounted, on which a gear wheel 46 is slidably mounted. The gear wheel 46 is in a form-fitting connection with the sleeve 44 and thus with the pin 34 by means of a claw coupling 47 arranged on its end face. On the side of the gear 46 facing away from the claw coupling 47, a cylinder 48 is connected which interacts with the piston 40 and the free end of which is closed with a cover 50.
The space between the piston 40 and the cover 50 is provided as a pressure chamber 41. A compression spring 45 is arranged between the end face of the piston 40 facing the turret table 32 and the gear wheel 46. The gear wheel 46 is in engagement with a toothed rack 52, which in turn is connected to a drive 54 (FIG. 2).
A plurality of mandrel supports, denoted by 55, are arranged on a pitch circle which runs concentrically to the center point of the pin 34 and is pierced by the extended axis of the spindle sleeve 16, the axes of which run parallel to the axis of the spindle sleeve 16. Each winding mandrel support has a quill 56 which is mounted axially displaceably in the turret table 32 and which is held in its right-hand end position by means of a spring 57. A winding mandrel sleeve 60 is rotatably mounted in the quill 56 via ball bearings 58, which in turn receives a winding mandrel 62 which is axially displaceable relative to the same.
On the inside of the winding mandrel sleeve 60 near its end facing away from the turret table 32 and on the outer surface of the winding mandrel near its free end, a shoulder 63 or 65 is provided, which face each other and between which a compression spring 64 is arranged. In an axial bore 82, the winding mandrel 62 contains a displaceably mounted plunger 66, which is held by means not shown in the pushed-back position indicated in the drawing, in which a plunger pin 88 rigidly connected to this is over the end with its end facing away from the spindle head 24 of the winding mandrel 62 protrudes. Stripping or push-off needles 84 cooperate with the end face 90 of the plunger 66 and penetrate the end face 92 of the winding mandrel 62 and emerge therefrom in the advanced position of the plunger 66.
In the end part 92 of the winding mandrel 62, a winding carrier 68 is also held in an exchangeable manner in a position coaxial with the winding mandrel.
The end of each quill 56 facing the carrier 31 is in engagement with a lever 70 which is pivotably mounted on the turret table by means of a pin 72 and which runs approximately radially and a tension spring 71 engages at its inner end. At its outer end, the lever 70 carries a rotatably mounted roller 74 which cooperates with a cam track 76 (FIG. 2) which is attached to the carrier 31 and follows part of the circumference of the turret table. The curved path 76 shown only in FIG. 2 has a course such that the winding mandrel 62 located in the winding position is advanced over the quill 56 by means of the lever 70 when the rotation of the turret table into the next position offset by 90 " Roll on the cam track 76 runs.
In a guide bush 77, the axis of which coincides with that of the spindle bush 16, the carrier contains an axially displaceable centering sleeve 78 which is rigidly connected to the piston rod 79 of a pneumatically operated cylinder 80. The centering sleeve 78 carries on its end face facing the quill 56 a conical outer shoulder 81 which engages in the hollow quill when the sleeve 78 is advanced by means of the cylinder 80. In this way it can be achieved that the turret table 31 is rotated within the scope of its play given by the toothed rack 52 and the toothed wheel 46 that the quill and thus the winding mandrel 62 assume a position that is exactly coaxial with the spindle sleeve 16.
With respect to the cylinder 80 offset by 1800 in the circumferential direction, a further pneumatically actuated cylinder 96 is arranged on the carrier 31, the piston rod 98 of which is intended to interact with the plunger 88 in order to push off a completely wound coil located on the winding carrier 68.
The wire guide, not shown, is located above the winding spindle 21 in a radial plane which runs through the bobbin or winding space 100 shown in FIG. 3 and formed between the end face of the spindle head 24 and the end face of the winding mandrel 62. Depending on the axial extent of the winding space, the wire guide can be moved back and forth in order to lay the wire windings; in the case of coils with a small axial extension, it may also be possible to manage without the wire guide moving back and forth.
In the illustrated embodiment, coreless bobbins are to be wound, for which the wire is removed from a wire supply roll (not shown) arranged above the element 18 and passed through the wire guide. When the machine is started up, the end of the wire is brought between the clamping jaws 27 and 29 of the winding spindle 21, between which this end of the wire is clamped as soon as the mandrel 62 is moved into the position advanced in FIG. 3 by actuating the cylinder 80 while centering it at the same time . Under the action of this cylinder, the winding mandrel 62 moves even further in the direction of the winding spindle 21 up to the position shown in FIG. 4, in order to then return to the position shown in FIG. 3 under the action of a spring acting on the winding tube 22.
The wire denoted by D initially runs in a radial plane outside the radial plane given by the position of the wire guide, in order to then run into the winding space 100 when the winding spindle 21, which also carries the winding mandrel 62 by friction via the bobbin carrier 68, rotates.
When the coil in the winding space 100 is completely wound, the drive is stopped and the winding spindle 21 or
the cutting sleeve 26 running with the same held in a predetermined circumferential position by locking means not shown in detail. At the same time, the centering sleeve 78 is withdrawn by the cylinder 80, so that the winding mandrel moves back into the starting position shown in the drawing under the action of the retraction spring 57 acting on the quill 56. Once this initial position has been reached, the revolving table 32 is rotated by means of the pneumatically actuated cylinder 54 or the toothed rack 52. As already mentioned, the winding mandrel 62 is again advanced into the wire guide level by the lever roller 74 running up on the cam track 76. As the turret table rotates, further wire is drawn off the wire supply roller as the coil remains on the winding support 68.
The wire D runs from the winding mandrel or winding carrier carrying the coil in the wire guide level to the wire guide, so that when the turret table has finished its rotation by 90 ", the wire again comes to rest between the clamping jaws 27 and 29 of the winding spindle 21, where the same is clamped when the winding mandrel is advanced. During the forward movement of the winding mandrel into the position shown in FIG. 4, the clamping jaws are moved behind the cutting edge 26 'of the sleeve 26, the piece of wire D coming from the wire guide enters the recess 26 "of the cutting sleeve, while the wire connection D ', which represents the winding end of the finished coil, is severed from the cutting edge 26' at the exit from the jaws. After the winding mandrel 62 has returned to the position shown in FIG. 3, a new winding process can begin.
To avoid that after cutting the
Wire end D 'the winding end of the finished coil pops open through the cutting edge 26', the coil is heated by hot air from a device not shown during the winding process. Since in the exemplary embodiment wire is wound with a thermoplastic layer, the heating causes the turns to stick or weld to one another.
As already mentioned, the finished coil is repelled by the corre sponding mandrel when this mandrel has covered a distance of 1800 compared to its winding position.
During this path or at the end of the same and before the reel is pushed off, the same can, if desired, be treated further; z. B. it is possible to cover the coil with an insulating sheath, e.g. B. from tape to see ver.
The winding spindle 21 shown in the illustrated embodiment can also be used on a winding machine which has only one winding mandrel 62 which is axially displaceable together with a quill 56 arranged in a tailstock. Such an application is also suitable for non-automatic, simpler winding machines.
During the winding process, the cylinder formed by the parts 48, 50, which is connected to the gear wheel 46, is displaced by pneumatic actuation, so that the claw coupling disengages from the pin 44. In the uncoupled position, the cylinder 54 is actuated so that the toothed or piston rod 52 is withdrawn while the toothed wheel 46 is rotated. In the retracted position of the piston rod 52, the cylinder 48, 50 can be relieved of pressure, so that the same returns to the coupled starting position under the action of the spring 45 and the device is ready for the next rotation of the turret table 32.
