Fig. 1 eine linke Bogenhälfte in Draufsicht,
Fig. 2 eine rechte Bogenhälfte in Draufsicht,
Fig. 6 einen Schnitt nach der Linie VI-VI der Fig. 5.
Protective covering for bends in heat-insulated pipelines
The invention relates to a protective covering for bends of heat-insulated pipelines, consisting of two halves of the bend with side parts at each of the two outlets.
The feature of the invention is that the arch halves at the edge of the outer curve are provided with bevels that can be plugged together in the direction of the plane of separation of the arch halves and have tabs on the edge of the inner curve that overlap and are secured by a screw.
Preferably, one half of the arch has bevels directed inwards and the other half of the arch has bevels in the form of folds open to the outside.
The side parts of the arch halves can overlap with their ends at the parting plane.
The side parts, which are closed in the delivery state, are expediently provided with semicircular markings or punchings for cutting out or breaking out corresponding openings.
Cuffs that are open in the longitudinal direction can be provided as a transition to the subsequent protective cladding.
The cuffs have, for example, an annular groove in which the side parts engage.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a left sheet half in plan view,
2 shows a right half of the arch in plan view,
3 shows a section along the line III-III of FIG. 1 for a closed arc,
4 shows a view of the closed arc in the direction of arrow IV in FIG. 1,
5 shows a partial side view of the bow with the cuff inserted,
6 shows a section along the line VI-VI in FIG. 5.
The protective covering for bends of heat-insulated pipelines consists of two nested arc halves 1, 2. The arc halves 1, 2 are composed of several semi-cylindrical parts instead of a continuous curvature, but the production takes place as a whole, e.g. B. in the pressing or deep drawing process. Sheet metal or plastic can be used as material. It is also possible to produce the arch halves with a uniform curvature.
It is essential that the arch halves are delivered to the assembly site in the finished state. So far it was necessary to assemble the arches or the arch halves from individual segments. This required special skilled workers and a very long assembly time. The assembly of the present arches does not require such skilled workers. The assembly time is reduced to a minimum.
The arch half 1 has inwardly directed folds 3, 4, 5 on the outer curvature, while the arch half 2 has folds 6, 7, 8 in the form of outwardly open folds. At the inner curve, the arch halves 1, 2 overlap with tabs 17, 18 and are secured by a screw 19.
At the two exits, the sheet halves 1, 2 are covered by side parts 9, 10 and 13, 14, which are closed in the delivery state up to the plane of separation of the sheet. The side parts have semicircular markings which are used to cut out corresponding openings 11, 12 and 15, 16, respectively. In this way an elbow fairing can be used for a number of different diameters of isotized pipelines. The ends 20, 21 and
22, 23 of the side parts overlap at the plane of separation when the arch halves are assembled.
The connection to the subsequent protective coverings is made by a sleeve 24 open in the longitudinal direction as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. The cuff 24 has an annular groove 25 into which the side parts 9, 10, 13, 14 engage. Depending on the size of the opening 11, 12 or 15, 16, the end edges 26, 27 of the sleeve 24 overlap to a greater or lesser extent.
The assembly is done in such a way that the side parts are first cut out to the diameter of the insulation. Then the two halves of the bend are plugged together at the outer curve and slipped over the pipe bend. The interior between the pipe bend and the cladding is z. B. stuffed with mineral wool. Cuffs 24 according to FIG. 5 are to be inserted into the side parts. The arch halves can then be closed and secured by a screw 19.
The arch cladding now protects the pipeline and the insulation against all mechanical and weather damage.
