Description
Vorrichtung zum Begasen von Flüssigkeiten
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Ausgestaltung der im Hauptpatent Nr. 517 516 dargestellten Vorrichtung zum Begasen von Flüssigkeiten, insbesondere zur Zumischung von Gasen in flüssige Nährmedien bei Fermentationsprozessen, welche einen koaxial zur zylindrischen Behälterwand angeordneten Leitzylinder und in der Nähe eines Behälterendes ein rotierendes Mischwerkzeug enthält, das die Flüssigkeit aus dem Leitzylinder und das zum Mischwerkzeug herangeführte Gas axial ansaugt, die Flüssigkeit und das Gas innig durchmischt und das Gemisch in den Raum zwischen Behälterwand und Leitzylinder gegen das andere Ende des Behälters fördert.
Nach dem Hauptpatent wird die Erfindung darin gesehen, dass die Längsachse des Behälters horizontal gerichtet ist.
Während der fortlaufenden Umwälzung finden mikrobiologische (oder chemische) Umsetzungen statt, die entweder Wärme abgeben oder - zumindest beim Anlaufen - Wärmezufuhr erfordern. Deshalb wurde schon in der Beschreibung und Unteranspruch 4 des Hauptpatentes angegeben, die Behälterwandung und/oder den Leitzylinder doppelwandig als Wärmeaustauscher auszuführen. Für viele Prozesse reicht aber die hierdurch gebotene Wärmeaustauschfläche nicht aus, insbesondere bei Prozessen, die Wärmezufuhr erfordern, weil die Temperatur der Heizflächen nicht über eine Wärmeempfindlichkeit der betr. Organismen oder auch der Reaktionsprodukte bedingte Grenze erhöht werden darf.
Die Aufgabe wurde darin gesehen, zusätzliche Wärmeaus tauschflächen zu schaffen; sie wurde erfindungsgemäss dadurch gelöst, dass in dem Raum zwischen Behälterwand und Leitzylinder in Längsrichtung des Behälters als Wärmeaustauscher wirkende Hohlkörper angeordnet sind.
Diese Hohlkörper können beispielsweise als vom Heizoder Kühlmittel durchströmte Rohre ausgebildet sein, oder auch als doppelwandige Flächen, die dann gleichzeitig den Raum zwischen Behälterwand und Leitzylinder in mehrere achsparallele Kammern unterteilen, also als Leitflächen wirken, wie dies im Hauptpatent dargestellt ist. Um diese Teile gut reinigen zu können, werden die als Wärmeaustauscher wirkenden Hohlkörper zweckmässig zusammen mit dem Leitzylinder an einem der Behälterdeckel befestigt, der beispielsweise durch Flansch mit Schrauben oder Bajonettring lösbar verbunden ist, so dass nach Lösen der Verbin dungsmittel der Deckel abgehoben werden kann und durch Herausziehen der gesamten Innenkonstruktion diese Teile, insbesondere die Aussenflächen der als Wärmeaustauscher wirkenden Hohlkörper zwecks Reinigung zugänglich sind.
PATENTANSPRUCH
Vorrichtung zum Begasen von Flüssigkeiten gemäss Patentanspruch des Hauptpatentes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in dem Raum zwischen Behälterwand und Leitzylinder in Längsrichtung des Behälters als Wärmeaustauscher wirkende Hohlkörper angeordnet sind.
UNTERANSPRÜCHE
1. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die als Wärmeaustauscher wirkenden Hohlkörper als Rohre ausgebildet sind.
2. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die als Wärmeaustauscher wirkenden Hohlkörper als doppelwandige Flächen ausgebildet sind, die zum Behälterquerschnitt radial verlaufen und den Raum zwischen Behälterwand und Leitzylinder in mehrere achsparallele Kammern unterteilen, deren Querschnitte trapezähnliche Kreisringsektoren darstellen.
3. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die als Wärmeaustauscher wirkenden Hohlkörper zusammen mit dem Leitzylinder an einem der Behälterdeckel befestigt sind und nach Lösen der diesen Deckel mit dem Behälter verbindenden Mittel aus dem Behälter herausziehbar sind.

The subject of the invention is an embodiment of the device shown in main patent no. 517 516 for gassing liquids, in particular for admixing gases into liquid nutrient media during fermentation processes, which contains a guide cylinder arranged coaxially to the cylindrical container wall and a rotating mixing tool near one end of the container, which axially sucks in the liquid from the guide cylinder and the gas supplied to the mixing tool, thoroughly mixes the liquid and the gas and conveys the mixture into the space between the container wall and the guide cylinder towards the other end of the container.
According to the main patent, the invention is seen in that the longitudinal axis of the container is directed horizontally.
During the continuous circulation, microbiological (or chemical) conversions take place that either give off heat or - at least when starting up - require the supply of heat. For this reason, it has already been specified in the description and dependent claim 4 of the main patent to design the container wall and / or the guide cylinder as a double-walled heat exchanger. For many processes, however, the heat exchange surface offered by this is not sufficient, especially for processes that require the supply of heat, because the temperature of the heating surfaces must not be increased beyond the heat sensitivity of the organisms concerned or of the reaction products.
The task was seen in creating additional heat exchange surfaces; it was achieved according to the invention in that hollow bodies acting as heat exchangers are arranged in the space between the container wall and the guide cylinder in the longitudinal direction of the container.
These hollow bodies can be designed, for example, as pipes through which the heating or coolant flows, or as double-walled surfaces which then simultaneously divide the space between the container wall and the guide cylinder into several axially parallel chambers, i.e. act as guide surfaces, as shown in the main patent. In order to be able to clean these parts well, the hollow bodies acting as heat exchangers are expediently attached together with the guide cylinder to one of the container covers, which are detachably connected, for example, by a flange with screws or a bayonet ring, so that the cover can be lifted off after loosening the connec tion means and by pulling out the entire inner structure, these parts, in particular the outer surfaces of the hollow bodies acting as heat exchangers, are accessible for cleaning.
