Le procédé de préparation selon l'invention est caractérisé par le fait que l'on procède tout d'abord à la copolymérisation d'au moins un monomère apte à donner naissance au motif I avec au moins un monomère apte à donner naissance au motif II et que l'on fait ensuite réagir un mélange du dit colorant et du dit alcool sur les fonctions anhydride d'acide carboxylique portées par le copolymère obtenu.
Dans un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention, les monomères motifs I sont pris dans le groupe que constituent l'anhydride itaconique, l'anhydride citraco- nique, l'anhydride acrylique, l'anhydride méthacryli que, l'anhydride mixte acrylique/méthacrylique, sur lequel se trouve condensé un colorant aminé par ami dification ou un alcool par estérification.
Dans un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention; les monomères motifs II sont pris dans le groupe que constituent l'anhydride maléïque, l'anhydride itaconi- que, l'anhydride citraconique, l'anhydride acrylique, l'anhydride méthacrylique, l'anhydride mixte acrylique- méthacrylique, les oléfines, dont le nombre d'atomes de carbone est compris entre 3 et 6, les dérivés acryli ques, méthacryliques et vinyliques.
Le colorant de formule D-NHR précité peut être constitué par un colorant aminé extranucléaire dont l'azote de la fonction amine extranucléaire est utilisé pour constituer une liaison amide qui relie le colorant au polymère.

Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, les alcools que l'on fixe sur les motifs ne possédant pas de groupe colorant sont pris dans le groupe que constituent le butanol et l'éthanol.
On peut procéder tout d'abord à la copolymérisa tion d'au moins deux monomères insaturés différents, appartenant aux groupes définis ci-dessus, puis con denser sur le copolymère obtenu les molécules de colo rants et les molécules d'alcool correspondant à la for mule recherchée.
Dans le but de mieux faire comprendre l'invention, on va en décrire maintenant, à titre d'illustration, plu sieurs exemples de mise en oeuvre. <I>Exemple 1</I> A. Préparation du copolymère incolore anhydride maléique (50 %)/ anhydride itaconique (50%) On place dans un ballon de 11, muni d'un agita teur, d'un réfrigérant à reflux, d'un thermomètre, d'une ampoule à brome et d'un tube adducteur d'azote, les matières premières suivantes:
-anhydride maléique 60 g -anhydride itaconique 60 g -benzène distillé 300 cc.
On porte à reflux et on introduit goutte à goutte pendant 24 h une solution de 24 g de peroxyde de ben- zoyle dans 200 cc de benzène.
Le copolymère qui s'est formé est essoré et lavé au pentane. On le sèche. On obtient une poudre blanche.
Le rendement pondéral de la réaction est de 850/0. L'indice d'anhydride du produit obtenu est de 991,4, l'indice théorique étant de 1.072.
B. Préparation d'un polymère coloré semi-ester semi-amide mixte, par condensation sur le copolymère incolore de l'al cool n-butylique et du colorant de formule:

On place dans un ballon muni d'un agitateur, d'un thermomètre et d'un réfrigérant à reflux 75 cc de diméthyl-formamide anhydre, 22,6 g de copolymère anhydride maléique/anhydride itaconique préparé selon A, 6,8 g (0,18 mol/g) de colorant dont la formule est indiqué ci-dessus et 13,2 g de n-butanol. Préparation du copolymère incolore anhydride maléique (75 0/0)/ anhydride méthacrylique (250/0) On place dans un ballon de 11 muni d'un agita teur, d'un réfrigérant à reflux, d'un thermomètre, d'une ampoule à brome et d'un tube adducteur d'azote, les matières premières suivantes: -anhydride maléique 75 g -benzène distillé 240 cc -peroxyde de benzoyle 5,882 g.
On porte à reflux et on introduit goutte à goutte, pendant 12 h, 25 g d'anhydride méthacrylique.
On filtre le polymère qui s'est formé, on le lave au pentane et on le sèche.
Le rendement pondéral de la réaction est de 60%. L'indice d'anhydride du produit trouvé est de 1.046, l'indice théorique étant de 1.040. B. Préparation d'un polymère coloré semi-ester semi-amide mixte, par condensation sur le copolymère incolore de l'al cool n-butylique et du colorant de formule:

Préparation du copolymère incolore acétate de vinyle (5Q /o)/ anhydride citraconique (50%) On place dans un ballon d'un litre muni d'un agi tateur, d'un réfrigérant à reflux, d'un thermomètre et d'un tube adducteur d'azote les matières premières sui vantes: -acétate de vinyle 50 g -anhydride citraconique 50 g -toluène distillé 233 cc -peroxyde de benzoyle 5,882 g On porte à reflux sous agitation et sous azote. Le copolymère formé précipite dans le toluène.
Après 8 heures l'opération est terminée.
On essore le polymère formé, on le lave avec de l'éther de pétrole et on le sèche.
Le copolymère se présente sous forme d'une pou dre.
Le rendement pondéral de la réaction est de 86 0/a. L'indice d'anhydride du produit obtenu est de 563,5, l'indice théorique étant de 500. Il en résulte que le copolymère obtenu présente une composition pondé rale de 43,7 % d'acétate de vinyle et de 56,3 % d'anhy dride citraconique.
B. Préparation d'un copolymère semi-ester, semi- amide mixte, par condensation sur le copolymère acétate de vnyle/anhydride citraconique, de l'alcool n-butylique et du colorant de formule:

Il résulte des analyses qui ont été effectuées que le rendement de fixation du colorant par amidification est de 89,6%. <I>Exemple 4</I> A. Préparation du copolymère incolore éther isobu- tylvinylique (50 0/a)/ anhydride itaconique (50 0/0).
On place dans un ballon de 11 muni d'un agita teur, d'un réfrigérant à reflux, d'un thermomètre et d'un tube adducteur d'azote, les matières premières suivantes: -éther isobutylvinylique 50 g -anhydride itaconique 50 g -toluène distillé 233 cc peroxyde de benzoyle 5,882 g -On porte à reflux sous agitation et sous azote. Après 8 heures, on obtient une solution visqueuse rougeâtre.
On précipite le polymère formé avec de l'éther de pétrole et on le sèche. Le copolymère se présente sous forme d'une poudre rouge. Le rendement pondéral de la réaction est de 80%. L'indice d'anhydride du produit obtenu est de 572, l'indice théorique étant de 500. On porte à reflux en chauffant doucement sous agi tation et sous azote. Après 8 heures, on obtient un polymère sous forme de poudre qu'on essore et lave avec du pentane et qu'on sèche.
Le copolymère se présente sous forme d'une pou dre blanche.
Le rendement pondéral de la réaction est de 700/0. L'indice d'anhydride du produit obtenu est de 374, l'indice théorique étant de 500.
Il en résulte que le copolymère obtenu présente une composition pondérale de 58% d'acrylate de méthyle et de 42% d'anhydride acrylique. B.
