Boîte de montre comprenant un fond-calotte et une carrure-lunette assemblés amoviblement
La présente invention a pour objet une boîte de montre comprenant un fond-calotte et une carrurelunette assemblés amoviblement par des moyens de verrouillage.
Il est connu de fixer un fond de boîte à une carrurelunette au moyen d'une bague montée à baïonnette sur la carrure-lunette, la bague appuyant sur le fond par l'intermédiaire d'une garniture élastique.
On a d'autre part déjà proposé de disposer entre un bord du fond et une portée de la carrure-lunette un anneau muni d'anses pour la fixation du bracelet. Dans cette construction la carrure-lunette ferme la boîte et elle est à cet effet vissée serrée sur le fond. Il ne s'agit donc pas d'une carrure-lunette amovible permettant un changement rapide et aisé par l'utilisateur de l'habillement de la montre sans ouverture de la boîte.
On a d'autre part songé à fixer un bracelet de montre au moyen d'anses amovibles formées par un anneau fendu, élastique, s'engageant dans une gorge ménagée à la périphérie de la boîte.
Cet anneau n'a toutefois pas d'autres fonctions que la fixation du bracelet à la boîte. I1 est également connu d'utiliser un fil entourant une carrure intérieure pour y fixer le bracelet.
Dans une autre construction, la fixation d'une carrure amovible sur une boîte de montre est assurée par la traction d'un bracelet en une pièce. Cette solution n'offre évidemment aucune sécurité car les parties assemblées se séparent lorsqu'on enlève le bracelet ou en cas de rupture de celui-ci. Elle n'est en outre pas utilisable avec un bracelet en deux parties.
On connaît aussi diverses constructions de boîtes de montres dans lesquelles le fond-calotte et la carrurelunette sont assemblés au moyen d'anneaux ou de barrettes en matière élastique. Toutefois ces anneaux ou barrettes ne sont pas conçus pour retenir un lien de bracelet.
Dans une autre construction connue le bracelet métallique est muni de deux barrettes déformables qui s'insèrent sous tension dans des logements de la carrure, ces barrettes ne sont pas élastiques et le montage ne peut être effectué sans un outil spécial.
La mise en place et l'enlèvement de la carrurelunette nécessitent une certaine habileté de la part de l'utilisateur. La présente invention a pour but de faciliter la mise en place et l'enlèvement grâce à un dispositif à ressorts-fils. La boîte de montre selon l'invention est caractérisée par le fait que lesdits moyens de verrouillage sont constitués par deux ressorts en forme de U présentant une partie médiane servant de barrette pour la fixation d'un bracelet, s'engageant sous tension dans une gorge circulaire de la carrure-lunette en s'appuyant en outre sur le fond-calotte, et un anneau de sûreté vissé sur le fond-calotte et présentant une surface conique extérieure venant s'appuyer sur les ressorts.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'invention.

La boîte de montre représentée au dessin comprend un fond-calotte 1 fermé par une glace 2 fixée au fondcalotte au moyen d'une bague sertie 3. La boîte ainsi constituée est habillée d'une carrure-lunette amovible 4 cachant la bague de fixation 3. Cette carrure-lunette est retenue d'une part par sa partie 4a, constituant la lunette proprement dite, et d'autre part au moyen de deux ressorts 5 présentant une partie rectiligne formant attache de fixation pour un bracelet 6 et deux branches 5a et 5b s'engageant avec une certaine tension dans une gorge annulaire 7 pratiquée dans la carrure-lunette 4, présentant deux discontinuités 8 pour le passage du bracelet.
Les branches 5a et 5b prennent en outre appui sur une portée 9 du fond-calotte 1, de sorte que la carrurelunette se trouve retenue sur le fond-calotte par les branches 5a et 5b, et de même pour l'autre ressort non représenté.
S'il est aisé de mettre en place le ressort 5 par une simple pression sur le ressort, dans la gorge 7, ses branches s'engageant automatiquement sous l'effet de leur tension, il est également aisé de l'enlever en exerçant une traction dirigée obliquement vers le centre de la boîte, traction qui pourrait se produire accidentellement.
Afin d'éviter un tel accident les ressorts sont verrouillés par un anneau 10 vissé sur le fond de la boîte et présentant un flanc conique 1 0a qui vient s'appuyer contre les branches des ressorts. L'anneau 10 constitue dès lors un anneau de sûreté.
L'anneau 10 peut être à pans, à crans ou muni d'encoches donnant prise à un outil.
Watch case comprising a removable caseback and a caseband-bezel
The present invention relates to a watch case comprising a bottom-cap and a carrurelunette assembled removably by locking means.
It is known practice to fix a case back to a carrurelunette by means of a bayonet-mounted ring on the middle-bezel, the ring pressing on the bottom by means of an elastic gasket.
On the other hand, it has already been proposed to place between an edge of the back and a bearing surface of the caseband-bezel a ring provided with handles for fixing the bracelet. In this construction, the middle-bezel closes the case and is therefore screwed tight to the back. It is therefore not a removable middle-bezel allowing a quick and easy change by the user of the clothing of the watch without opening the case.
On the other hand, consideration has been given to fixing a watch strap by means of removable handles formed by a split, elastic ring which engages in a groove made at the periphery of the case.
However, this ring has no other functions than fixing the bracelet to the case. It is also known to use a wire surrounding an inner middle part to fix the bracelet thereon.
In another construction, the attachment of a removable middle part to a watch case is provided by the traction of a one-piece bracelet. This solution obviously offers no security because the assembled parts separate when the bracelet is removed or if it breaks. Furthermore, it cannot be used with a two-part bracelet.
Various constructions of watch cases are also known in which the bottom-cap and the carrurelunette are assembled by means of rings or bars of elastic material. However, these rings or bars are not designed to retain a bracelet link.
In another known construction, the metal bracelet is provided with two deformable bars which are inserted under tension into the housings of the middle part, these bars are not elastic and the assembly cannot be carried out without a special tool.
The placement and removal of the carrurelunette requires some skill on the part of the user. The object of the present invention is to facilitate the installation and removal by means of a device with wire springs. The watch case according to the invention is characterized in that said locking means are constituted by two U-shaped springs having a middle part serving as a bar for fixing a bracelet, engaging under tension in a groove. circular of the middle-bezel, also resting on the base-cap, and a safety ring screwed on the bottom-cap and having an outer conical surface which rests on the springs.

The watch case shown in the drawing comprises a bottom-cap 1 closed by a crystal 2 fixed to the bottom cap by means of a crimped ring 3. The case thus formed is covered with a removable middle-bezel 4 hiding the fixing ring 3 This middle-bezel is retained on the one hand by its part 4a, constituting the bezel proper, and on the other hand by means of two springs 5 having a rectilinear part forming a fastening clip for a bracelet 6 and two branches 5a and 5b engaging with a certain tension in an annular groove 7 made in the caseband-bezel 4, having two discontinuities 8 for the passage of the bracelet.
The branches 5a and 5b are further supported on a bearing surface 9 of the bottom-cap 1, so that the carrurelunette is retained on the bottom-cap by the branches 5a and 5b, and likewise for the other spring, not shown.
While it is easy to put the spring 5 in place by simply pressing the spring, in the groove 7, its branches automatically engaging under the effect of their tension, it is also easy to remove it by exerting a traction directed obliquely towards the center of the box, traction which could occur accidentally.
In order to avoid such an accident, the springs are locked by a ring 10 screwed onto the bottom of the box and having a conical flank 1 0a which bears against the branches of the springs. The ring 10 therefore constitutes a safety ring.
The ring 10 may be with sides, notches or provided with notches giving grip to a tool.
