Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht eines in einer Umladestation befindlichen Eisenbahnwagens mit Selbstladevorrichtung;
Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht zu Fig. 1 und
Method for reloading garbage into a long-distance transport vehicle and long-distance transport vehicle for carrying out the method
The garbage that accumulates in a certain collection zone is usually reloaded from a garbage collection vehicle to a long-distance transport vehicle if the landfill or the waste incineration plant to which the waste is to be transported is a relatively large distance, e.g. about 20 km from the center of the zone. For reloading the garbage, reloading stations are known in which the garbage is emptied from the collection vehicle from above directly into the long-distance transport vehicle. In other known reloading stations, the garbage is also emptied from above into a stationary tamping device, from which it is tamped into the long-distance transport vehicle.
In both cases, large ramps are provided in order to raise the collection truck to the necessary height of e.g. drive up about 4 m above the level of the long-haul truck. The space requirement is very large and the costs for the construction and the mechanical equipment are often in the range of millions of francs. In addition, a landfill or incineration facility is usually assigned several transfer stations.
The invention relates to a method for reloading garbage from a garbage collection vehicle into a long-distance transport vehicle, for which only very small and cheap reloading stations can be necessary. This method is characterized in that the garbage-filled collection box of the garbage collection vehicle is emptied onto the floor of a channel delimited by two parallel walls, and the garbage is then emptied by means of a loading device mounted on the long-distance transport vehicle in its with the ground practically at the same height as the Pulls into the channel bottom the transport box.
It can be seen that the space-consuming. There is no need for large access ramps for the refuse collection vehicles at the known transfer stations.
The invention also relates to a long-distance transport vehicle for carrying out this method. This long-distance transport trolley is characterized by the fact that it is provided with a loading device which has at least one organ serving to grasp the garbage located in the loading channel and to pull it into the trolley case through an opening in the front of the trolley case, as well as power drive means around this gripping member in the longitudinal direction of the trolley body to move outwards and inwards, and power drive means to bring the gripping element in an inoperative position before it is extended and in an effective position before it is retracted.
The loading device can be designed in such a way that the garbage can be compacted with it inside the trolley body, so that a special stuffing device does not need to be provided for this at each transfer station.
An exemplary embodiment of the inventions is explained below with reference to the drawing. It is:
1 shows a side view of a railway car with a self-loading device located in a reloading station;
Fig. 2 is a plan view of Fig. 1 and
3 shows a partial view on a larger scale, in the direction of the arrow in FIG.
At the reloading station shown, a refuse reloading channel 1 is provided, which is delimited by two walls 2 and 3 parallel to one another and a horizontal floor 4.
Channel 1 is open at the top and on both ends.
The channel 1 is located in a simple building 5, only indicated in FIG. 1. The floor 4 is at the same level as an access 6 for a garbage collection vehicle 7 with the garbage collection box 8, indicated in FIG. 2. The garbage can by tipping up the Collecting box 8 or by means of an ejection device contained in the same in the channel 1 are emptied.
A railway carriage 9 stands on a stump track 9a, which is so far below the floor 4 that the floor of its transport box 10 is at the same level as the channel floor 4. A loading device 11 is attached to the transport box 10, which allows the collection wagon 7 to grab garbage 12 brought into the channel 1 and pull it into the transport box 10.
The device 11 has a hollow bar 14 of rectangular cross-section, which is arranged directly under the roof 13 or in the roof vault of the transport box 10, is displaceable in the longitudinal direction and is provided with rollers 15 which are guided in guides 16 fixed to the box. Instead, the rollers could be fixed to the box and the guides could be attached to the beam 14. In a double-acting hydraulic cylinder 17, only indicated in FIG. 3, a piston can be displaced, the piston rod 18 of which is connected to the beam 14, so that the latter can be displaced forwards and backwards by acting on the cylinder 17. At the front end of the beam 14, a swivel plate 20 is articulated at 19, for the swiveling of which two hydraulic cylinder-piston units 21 are provided.
The hydraulic units 21 are articulated at 22 on the beam 14 and at 23 on the swivel plate 20.
When the units 21 have their smallest length, the swivel plate 20 is in a vertical position, as shown in FIG. 1 in full lines. With the greatest length of the units 21, on the other hand, the swivel plate is held in the horizontal position 20 'shown in dash-dotted lines. The outline of the swivel plate 20 provided with reinforcing ribs 24 corresponds to the clear profile of the box 10 or its front opening 25, so that the plate 20 can push the garbage 12 into the box 10 and then serve as an end wall thereof.
The cylinder-piston units 21 could also act on an extension of the swivel plate 20 above the swivel axis 19 of the swivel plate 20, so that they would then be outside the garbage. In this case, of course, it would push the pivot plate into the effective position instead of pulling it into the same.
In the present case it is assumed that the outer profile of the collecting box 8 is larger than the clear profile of the transport box 10, e.g. of a narrow-gauge railroad car. So that the garbage 12 held by the swivel plate 20 cannot move laterally when it is drawn into the transport box 10, the side wall 2 is designed to be transversely displaceable. For this purpose, two blocks 27 provided with rollers 26 are provided, as well as a double-acting hydraulic cylinder-piston unit 28, which can optionally be arranged in a concealed pit.
To drive in the cars 7, the wall 2 is removed from the stationary wall 3 so far that the box 8 can be conveniently inserted and emptied. Then the swivel plate 20 serving as a gripper is brought into the inoperative position 20 ′ by means of the units 21 and extended by means of the units 17, 18. Then, or even before the gripper plate 20 is extended, the wall 2 is brought so close to the wall 3 by means of the unit 28 that its distance corresponds to the clear profile of the transport box 10.
It is clear that - depending on the type and amount of garbage - the gripper plate 20 can also be extended several times - a little further each subsequent time - in order to pull the garbage 12 unloaded in the channel 1 into the transport box 10 in portions. It is advantageous if the stroke of the unit 17, 18 is as large as possible, so that the gripper plate 20 e.g. by about 1/3 to 1/2 the length of the box 10 can be pulled into the same. Optionally, the cylinder
17 can be designed as a telescopic cylinder.
In order to empty the transport box 10, it is preferably tiltable about a longitudinal axis, with a side wall opening in a known manner. The force required for pivoting the box 10 can be supplied by a hydraulic cylinder piston unit mounted on the carriage itself or by a hydraulic cylinder piston unit provided at the unloading location.
In the case of the reloading process described, the space requirement and the effort for the necessary reloading station, which, by the way, does not even necessarily have to be provided with a building, are much smaller than for the previously customary reloading stations. Because it is no longer necessary to provide an approximately 4 m high ramp for the collection truck 7 in order to empty its box 8 from above into the transport box 10 or into a tamping device, which in turn stuffs the garbage into the remote transport vehicle. Another important advantage of the reloading process described is that, due to the very low height of fall of the garbage, the generation of dust is minimal when emptying the garbage collection vehicle. In contrast, the lowering of the stump track 9a below the level of the channel floor 4 is only about 1.2 m.
The space requirement is minimal and the buffers of the railway car do not interfere in any way. Of course, the access 6 to the channel floor 4 can also rise slightly and the latter does not necessarily have to be horizontal. If the wagon 9 is a standard gauge wagon, the clear profile of the transport box 10 is larger than the outer profile of the collecting boxes of the usual collecting vehicles. It is then unnecessary to provide a wall of the channel 1 to be transversely displaceable. The long-distance haulage car does not have to be a railroad car. Rather, it can also be a road vehicle.
It should also be noted that when the transport box 10 is loaded, it sinks somewhat because of the usual carriage suspension, so that a corresponding clearance must be provided between the vertically positioned swivel plate 20 and the channel bottom 4, unless suspension locks known per se e.g. hydraulic type that keeps the height of the transport box constant during loading.
