Der Gehalt der stabilisierten Präparate an Farbstoff der Formel (I) kann in weiten Grenzen variieren.
Obgleich man ohne Schwierigkeit stabilisierte Präparate mit nur 1-2 Gewichtsprozente Farbstoff der Formel (I) herstellen kann, bevorzugt man aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen Präparate, die mindestens 5 Gewichtsprozente Farbstoff der Formel (1) enthalten. Anderseits ist es kaum möglich Präparate mit einem Farbstoffgehalt von mehr als 90 Gewichtsprozenten herzustellen, da die technischen 1 Farbstoffe der Formel (I) immer einen gewissen Salzgehalt aufweisen. Die erfindungsgemässen stabilisierten Farbstoffpräparate können in fester oder in flüssiger Form vorliegen. Die festen Präparate enthalten z.
B. 10 bis 90 Gewichtsprozente, bzw. 50 bis 85 Gewichtsprozente, vorzugsweise 10 Ebzw. 15 oder vorteilhaft 30 bis 85 Gewichtsprozente, aber auch 10-50 Gewichtsprozente mindestens eines Farbstoffs der Formel (I) und 0,5 bis 20 Gewichtsprozente, vorzugsweise 0,5 bis 10 Gewichtsprozente oder 2 bis 10 Gewichtsteile, aber auch 0,5 bis 1 Gewichtsprozente, mindestens einer Verbindung der Formel (II). Die flüssigen Präparate enthalten z. B. 5 bis 25 Gewichtsprozente, vorzugsweise 5 bis 15 Gewichtsprozente, mindestens eines Farbstoffs der Formel (I), 1 bis 20 Gewichtsprozente, vorzugsweise 2 bis 10 Gewichtsprozente, mindestens einer Verbindung der Formel (II) und 45 bis 92 Gewichtsprozente, vorzugsweise 70-90 Gewichtsprozente, Wasser.
Daneben enthalten die Präparate- anorganische Salze (NaCl, Na2SO4, Na2CO3, oder die entsprechenden Kaliumverbindungen), welche von der Herstellung der Farbstoffe herrühren und/oder im Falle der festen Präparate, als Stellmittel zugesetzt werden können; ferner können noch andere Zusätze anwesend sein, z. B. Alkali-, vorzugsweise Natriumligninsulfat, (Natriumsulfitcelluloseablauge), Alkali-, vorzugsweise Natriummetaphosphat oder Gemische solcher Verbindungen, ferner z. B.
Iöslichkeitsfördernde Produkte wie Harnstoff, Dextrin, die Alkalimetallsalze von Benzol-, Toluol-, Xylol- oder Naphthalinsulfonsäure, kalkfällende oder kalkkomplexverbindene Zusätze wie normale Phosphate, kondensierte Phosphate, Salze von Aminocarbonsäuren (nitrilotriessigsäure, Aethylendiamintetraessigsäure), anionische oberflächenaktive Verbindungen wie Salze der Diisopropyl- oder Di-butylnaphthalinsulfonsäure, der Alkyl lbenzolsulfonsäuren oder der Di-naphthylmethandisulfonsäure, nichtiogene oberflächenaktive Verbindungen wie die wasserlöslichen Anlagerungsprodukte von Aethylenoxid an hydrophobe Verbindungen (Fettalkohole, Alkyl- oder Dialkylphenole, Fettsäureamide usw.) und auch deren Sulfate usw.
Die Farbstoffe der Formel (I) werden in bekannter Weise durch Kupplung von 1 Mol der Tetrazoverbindung aus einem Diamin der Formel

Die bevorzugten Farbstoffen der Formel (I) sind diejenigen für deren Herstellung als Verbindung der Formel (IV) eine Hydroxynaphthalinsulfonsäure oder eine gegebenenfalls N-alkylierte N-arylierte oder Nacylierte Aminohydroxynaphthalinsulfonsäure verwendet wird. Besonders interessant sind die symmetrischen kupferhaltigen Farbstoffe der Formel (I), z. B. der Farbstoff der Formel

H2N - C2H4 - O - C2H4 - OH, H2N - C2H4 - 0 - QH4 0 - Q4 - OH und die Umsetzungsprodukte von Ammoniak mit Polyäthylenglykolhalogeniden der Formel Hal(C2H4O)x worin Hal für ein Halogenatom, wie Chlor und x für eine kleine Zahl von z. B. 4 bis 12 stehen, z. Die Farbstoffpräparate können in verschiedener Weise hergestellt werden, z. B. durch Zusammenmischen oder Zusammenkneten der Farbstoffe der Formel (I) mit den Verbindungen der Formel (II) und gegebenenfalls anderer Zusätzen. oder durch Lösen der Farbstoffe der Formel (I), der Verbindungen der Formel (II) und gegebenenfalls anderer Zusätze in Wasser (flüssige Präparate) und gegebenenfalls Eindampfen zur Trockene bei Normaldruck oder vermindertem Druck oder durch Zerstäuben (feste Präparate) oder auch durch Metallisierung der Farbstoffe der Formel

in Gegenwart mindestens einer Verbindung der Formel (II) und Überführung in ein festes oder flüssiges Präparat in der oben beschriebenen Weise.
Mit den erhaltenen Farbstoffpräparaten kann man Wolle, Seide, Leder und synthetische Polyamid- und Polyurethanfasern, und insbesondere Fasern aus natürlicher und regenerierter Cellulose färben.
Man kann mit ihnen auch Papier färben. Diese Färbungen besitzen eine gute Lichtechtheit und gute Wasch-, Wasser-, Meerwasser-, Schweiss-, Karboni sier-, Bleich-, Walk-, Reib-, Bügel-, Säure-, Alkali-, Schwefel- und Überfärbeechtheit.
In den folgenden Beispielen bedeuten die Teile Gewichtsteile und die Prozente Gewichtsprozente. Die Temperaturen sind in Celsiusgraden angegeben.
Beispiel 1
109 Teile des durch Kuppeln von tetrazotierten 4,4' Diamino-3, 3'-dimethoxy-1, 1'-diphenyl mit 1-Amino-8hydroxynaphthalin-3, 6-disulfonsäure und entmethylierende Kupferung erhältlichen Disazofarbstoffs der Formel

werden in Form des feuchten, etwa 500/obigen Filtrationsrückstands auf der Nutsche mit einer Lösung gewaschen, welche 250 Teile Natriumchlorid und 40 Teile 2-Amino-2-hydroxy-diäthyläther pro Liter enthält.
Der so gewaschene Filtrationsrückstand (etwa 220 Teile mit einem Gehalt von etwa 109 Teilen Farbstoff, etwa 24 Teilen Natriumchlorid, etwa 4 Teilen 2-Amino2'-hydroxy-diäthyläther und etwa 83 Teilen Wasser) wird bei 70-800 getrocknet und durch einen beschleunigten Alterungstest auf seine Stabilität geprüft, indem man eine unter Luftatmosphäre stehende, verschlossene Probe 20 Tage bei 80" lagert.
Die so behandelte Probe zeigt im Chromatogramm nur geringe Mengen von Zersetzungsprodukten und liefert im Vergleich zu der stabilisierten aber nicht der beschleunigten Alterungsprüfung unterzogenen Probe eine ebenso lebhafte, in der Nuance kaum abweichende blaue Papierfärbung, während eine der Alterungsprüfung unterzogene Probe des nichtbehandelten Ausgangsfarbstoffs im Chromatogramm einen deutlichen Anteil von grauen Zersetzungsprodukten zeigt und im Vergleich mit der erfindungsgemäss behandelten Probe auf Papier eine rötere, stumpfere Blaufärbung liefert.
Beispiel 2
109 Teile des Disazofarbstoffs (VIII) werden, in Form eines feuchten, etwa 50 ovo Farbstoff und 13 O/o Natriumchlorid enthaltenden Filtrationsrückstands, in einer Lösung, bestehend aus 7 Teilen 2-Amino-2'hydroxy-diäthyläther, 25 Teilen wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat und 150 Teilen Wasser, homogen verrührt und das erhaltene Gemisch anschliessend einer Zerstäubungstrocknung unterworfen. Das auf diese Weise erhaltene granulierte oder pulverförmige Präparat zeigt eine ähnlich gute Stabilität, wie das nach den Angaben von Beispiel 1 erhältliche Präparat.
Beispiel 3
Ersetzt man in Beispiel 2 die 7 Teile 2-Amino-2'hydroxy-diäthyläther durch 6 Teile des Umsetzungsproduktes aus 1 Mol Diäthylentriamin mit 7 Mol Aethylenoxid, so erhält man eine Zubereitung mit ähnlich guter Stabilität wie das nach den Angaben von Beispiel 1 erhältliche Fafbstoffpräparat.
Beispiel 4
151 Teile eines salzhaltigen Farbstoffpulvers mit einem Gehalt von 72 0/0 an reinem Farbstoff (VIII) werden mit 5 Teilen 2-Amino-2'-hydroxy-diäthyläther und 30 Teilen wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat in einem Mixer homogen vermischt. Die so erhaltene Zubereitung zeigt eine ähnliche gute Lagerungsstabilität wie die gemäss den Angaben von Beispiel 1 erhältliche Farbstoffzubereitung.
Beispiel 5
109 Teile des Disazofarbstoffs (VIII) werden in Form eines feuchten, etwa 500/0 Farbstoff und etwa 13 O/o Natriumchlorid enthaltenden Filtrationsrückstands mit 7,5 Teilen 2-Amino-2'-hydroxy-diäthyläther und 35 Teilen wasserfreiem Natriumsulrat in enielil Ler homogen vermischt und dann getrocknet. Die so hergestellte Farbstoffzubereitung zeigt ähnlich gute Lagerungseigenschaften wie die nach den Angaben von Beispiel 1 erhaltene Zubereitung.
Beispiel 6
Ersetzt man in Beispiel 5 die 7,5 Teile 2-Amino-2'hydroxy-diäthyläther durch 5,5 Teile des Umsetzungsproduktes aus 1 Mol Tetraäthylenpentamin mit 8 Mol Aethylenoxid, so erhält man ein Präparat mit ähnlich guter Stabilität wie das nach den Angaben von Beispiel 1 erhaltene Farbstoffpräparat.
Beispiel 7
109 Teile des Farbstoffes (VIII) werden in Form des feuchten, etwa 50 O/o Farbstoff und etwa 13 o/o Natriumchlorid enthaltenden Filtrationsrückstands in einer Lösung suspendiert, die im Liter 250 Teile Natriumchlorid und 50 Teile 2-Amino-2'-hydroxy-diäthyläther enthält.
Die durch Abfiltrieren und Trocknen erhaltene Farbstoffzubereitung zeigt bei der beschleunigten Alterungs prüfung ein ähnlich gutes Resultat wie die Zubereitung, welche nach den Angaben von Beispiel 1 erhalten wird.
Beispiel 8
109 Teile des Disazofarbstoffs (VIII) werden in Form einer etwa 50 0/eigen wässrigen salzhaltigen Paste in 900 Teilen Wasser von 200 homogen verrührt und durch Zugabe von 60 Teilen 2-Amino-2'-hydroxydi äthyläther in Lösung gebracht. Man reinigt die Farbstofflösung durch Zugabe von 20 Teilen Kieselgur und Filtration oder durch Zentrifugieren und verdünnt mit Wasser auf 1200 Teile. Die so hergestellte flüssige, dunkelblau gefärbte Zubereitung ist bei Raumtemperatur mehrere Monate haltbar.
Beispiel 9
Man löst bei etwa 30 242 Teile einer salzhaltigen wässrigen Farbstoffpaste, die 45 0/0 reinen Farbstoff (VIII) enthält, in einem Gemisch von 1000 Teilen Wasser und 70 Teilen 2-Amino-2'-hydroxydiäthyläther, reinigt die erhaltene dunkelblaue Farbstofflösung durch Zentrifugieren und stellt mit Wasser auf 1300 Teile.
Diese flüssige Zubereitung ist bei Raumtemperatur mehrere Monate haltbar.
Vorschrift zum Färben von Papier
In einem Holländer werden 100 Teile chemisch gebleichte Sulfitcelluiose in Gegenwart vonb Wasser gemahlen.
Zu dieser Masse gibt man 1 Teil der Zubereitung gemäss Beispiel 2. Nach 15 Minuten erfolgt die Leimung und anschliessend dessen Fixierung.
Das auf diese Weise hergestellte Papier besitzt eine grünstichig blaue Nuance von mittlerer Intensität. Die Färbung besitzt gute Echtheiten. Das Abwasser ist farblos.
Färbevorschrift für Cellulosefasern
Eine Färbeflotte aus 3000 Teilen enthärtetem Wasser, 2 Teilen wasserfreiem Natriumcarbonat und 3 Teilen der nach Beispiel 2 erhältlichen Farbstoffzubereitung wird bei 300 mit 100 Teilen genetzter Baumwolle beschickt. Nach Zusatz von 10 Teilen Natriumsulfat wird die Färbeflotte innerhalb von 30 Minuten auf 1000 erwärmt, wobei ihr bei 500 und 70" jeweils weitere 10 Teile Natriumsulfat zugegeben werden. Man färbt noch 15 Minuten bei 10 weiter. fügt dem Band nochmals 10 Teile Natriumsulfat zu und lässt es nun erkalten. Bei 50 wird die gefärbte Baumwolle aus dem Bad genommen, gut mit kaltem Wasser gespült und bei 60 getrocknet.
Sie ist in einem grünstichig blauen Ton gefärbt. Die Färbung ist licht- und nassecht.
Beispiel 10
109 Teile des Disazofarbstoffs der Formel (VIII) werden in Form einer salzhaltigen, 45 0/obigen wässrigen Paste in eine Lösung von 1250 Teilen entkaltem Wasser von 400 und 45 Teilen 2-Amino-2'-hydroxydiaethylaether eingetragen und gelöst. Man reinigt die Farbstofflösung durch Behandlung mit 5 Teilen Kieselgur und Filtration.
Die erhaltene tiefblaue flüssige Zubereitung ist bei Raumtemperatur oder auch bei erhöhten Temperaturen längere Zeit, z. B. mehrere Monate, haltbar.
Beispiel 11
109 Teile des Disazofarbstoffs der Formel (VIII) werden in Form einer salzhaltigen, 45 0/obigen wässrigen Paste in ein Gemisch von 1200 Teilen entmineralisiertem Wasser von 40 , 45 Teile 2-Amino-2'-hydroxydiaethyl-aether und 15 Teilen Natriumligninsulfat eingetragen und gelöst. Man behandelt die Farbstofflösung mit 5 Teilen Kieselgur und filtriert ab.
Die so hergestellte flüssige Zubereitung ist bei Temperaturen bis zu 400 längere Zeit, z. B. mehrere Monate haltbar.
Beispiel 12
125 Teile eines salzhaltigen Farbstoffpulvers mit einem Gehalt von 800/0 an reinem Farbstoff (VIII), welches man z. B. durch Zerstäubungstrocknung erhält, werden mit 546 Teilen Natriumligninsulfat und 20 Teilen 2-Amino-2'-hydroxy -diaethylaether in einem Mischer homogen vermischt. Die so erhaltene Zubereitung zeigt eine gute Lagerungsstabilität.
Beispiel 13
125 Teile eines salzhaltigen Farbstoffpulvers mit einem Gehalt von 800/0 an reinem Farbstoff (VIII) werden mit 546 Teilen Natriummetaphosphat und 20 Teilen 2-Amino-2'-hydroxy-diaethylaether in einem Mischer homogen vermischt. Die so erhaltene Zubereitung zeigt eine ähnlich gute Lagerungsstabilität wie Beispiel 1. Zubereitungen mit ähnlich guter Stabilität werden erhalten, wenn man an Stelle von Natriummetaphosphat ein Gemisch von Natriummetaphosphat und Natriumligninsulfat einsetzt.
Beispiel 14
90 Teile des Disazofarbstoffs (VIII) werden in Form eines feuchten, etwa 50 O/o Farbstoff und etwa 10 O/o Natriumchlorid enthaltenden Filtrationsrückstands mit 15 Teilen 2-Amino-2'-hydroxy-diaethylaether und 177 Teilen Natriummetaphosphat in einem Kneter homogen vermischt und dann getrocknet. Die so erhaltene Zubereitung zeigt eine ähnlich gute Lagerungsstabilität wie die nach Beispiel 1 erhaltene Zubereitung.
Beispiel 15
Ersetzt man in Beispiel 14 das Natriummetaphosphat teilweise oder ganz durch Natriumligninsulfat, so erhält man Färbepräparate mit ähnlich guter Stabilität wie die nach den Angaben von Beispiel 1 erhaltene Farbstoffzubereitung.
Beispiel 16
109 Teile des Disazofarbstoffs (VIII) werden in Form eines feuchten, etwa 50 O/o Farbstoff und 10 o/o Natriumchlorid enthaltenden Filtrationsrückstand, in einer Lösung, bestehend aus 23 Teile 2-Amino-2'hydroxy-diaethylaether, 157 Teile Natriummetaphos phat und 360 Teilen Wasser, homogen verrührt und das erhaltene Gemisch anschliessend einer Zerstäubungstrocknung unterworfen. Das auf diese Weise erhaltene Präparat zeigt eine ähnlich gute Stabilität, wie das nach den Angaben von Beispiel 1 erhältliche Präparat.
Beispiel 17
Ersetzt man in Beispiel 2 die 7 Teile 2-Amino-2'hydroxy-diaethylaether durch 6 Teile eines Produktes, welches man bei der Umsetzung von 1 Mol Aethylendiamin mit 12 Mol Aethylenoxid bei 160170 in Gegenwart von 0,2 % Natriumhydroxid erhält, so erhält man eine Zubereitung mit ähnlich guter Stabilität wie das nach den Angaben von Beispiel 1 erhältliche Farbstoffpräparat.
Beispiel 18
Ersetzt man in Beispiel 5 die 7,5 Teile 2-Amino-2'hydroxy-diaethylaether durch 5,5 Teile eines Produktes, welches man bei der Umsetzung von 1 Mol Diaethylentriamin mit 6 Mol Aethylenoxid bei 80-90 erhält, so erhält man eine Zubereitung mit ähnlich guter Stabilität wie das nach den Angaben von Beispiel 1 erhältliche Farbstoffpräparat.
