<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Circuit for indicating the position of several switches or groups of switches A circuit for indicating the position of an electrical switch has already been proposed, an embodiment of which is shown in FIG.
The connecting line 8 with the lamp 7 arranged in the course of this connecting line is connected between the signaling switchover contact 1 of the control acknowledgment switch 2 and the signaling contacts 4 and 5 of a switch 6, which are connected to a signaling switchover contact 3. The connecting line 8 connects the middle connections 9 and 10 of the signaling switchover contacts 1 and 3. The outer connection 11 of the signaling switchover contact 1 is connected to a rail with negative potential N. Correspondingly, the outer contact 12 of the signaling switchover contact 3 is connected to a rail with positive potential P.
The second outer connections 13 and 14 of the signaling switchover contacts are connected to flashing lines BL1 and BL2, on which square-wave voltages of, for. B. 1 Hz applied. With this circuit for position reporting, two lines are required for the transmission of the supply voltage and two further lines for the transmission of the flashing voltages.
In order to switch off the quiet light of the indicator lamps in the circuit shown in Fig. 1, the supply voltage lines can be switched so that the line with positive potential P is connected to the line with negative potential N and that the blinking line BL1 is also connected to the blinking line BL2 . In this case, if the control acknowledgment and signaling switch are in the same position, the lamp 7 will go out and if the position does not match, the flashing light will be emitted.
Since the line with the potential P and the line BL1 must be switched over to switch off the quiet light, it appears necessary in the proposed arrangement to provide four lines for the voltage supply of the position report.
The new arrangement now shows a solution in which, as with known arrangements, it is sufficient to provide only two transmission lines for the supply voltage for the position report, without the possibility of a central shut-off light being omitted. In addition, the protection now only takes place in these two feed lines.
The invention relates to a circuit for indicating the position of several switches or groups of switches, each with a signal changeover contact for each switch and an acknowledgment changeover contact assigned to each switch, the middle connections of the changeover contacts being connected to one another via a respective display element and their outer connections being led to the poles of a voltage source and to flashing lines are whose potentials alternately match the potential of the pole of the voltage source connected to the other changeover contact.
The new solution is that from a common double flasher light transmitter to each switch or to each group of switches for position reporting, only the flasher lines are laid and that the DC connections of a rectifier bridge circuit, whose AC connections with are connected to the flashing lines.
An exemplary embodiment of the circuit according to the invention is shown in FIG. A double flashing light transmitter 19 has the flashing line BL1 and the flashing line BL2 as output lines. The flashing line BL2 is directly connected and the flashing line BL1 is connected to all branches of the switchgear via a changeover switch (for switching off the quiet light) 20.
The second external connection of the changeover switch 20 is connected to the negative pole of a supply voltage source via a line 21 and therefore constantly carries negative potential N, so that when the changeover switch 20 is switched on the blinking line BL1, there is also a constant negative potential N.
Of all the switching devices present in the switchgear installation, the switches belonging to a branch are combined by a fuse to form a switch group, specifically signaling switchover contacts 22 of the ones shown in FIG. 3
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
shown switch 23 of a branch with changeover contacts of the control acknowledgment switch 24 in the manner proposed in Fig. 1 with indicator lamps 25 interconnected.
Only the flashing lines BL1 and BL2 are available for the voltage supply of this branch, which are connected via circuit breakers 26 to the alternating current connections 27 and 28 of a rectifier bridge circuit consisting of the valves 29 to 32. The direct current connections 32 and 34 of this rectifier bridge circuit are connected to the lines 35 and 36 connected to the circuits for the position report.
The line 35 constantly carries positive potential P and the line 36 constantly carries negative potential N, since the polarity of the flashing voltages of the flashing lines BL1 and BL2 changes periodically, but a voltage is constantly present between the two lines. The lines 37 and 38 connected to the blinking lines BL1 and BL2 when the quiet light is switched on serve to supply the blinking voltages to the circuits for the position report.
A relay 40 is connected between the direct current connections 33 and 34 of the rectifier bridge circuit. The relay 40 is used to switch off the quiet light (continuous light) when the switching devices are in the same position with the associated acknowledgment or control acknowledgment switch. The relay 40 is constantly energized when the quiet light is switched on (shown switching position of the switch 20). If quiet light is to be switched off, the central switch 20 is turned over so that potential N comes to the line BL1.
The relay 40 is then de-energized and drops out when the line BL2 also carries a negative potential N after a half-wave at the latest. The normally closed contact 41 of the relay 40 is provided for connecting the line 35 to the line BL1. The normally open contact 42 is used to switch off the blinker line BL1, the normally closed contact 43 to connect the line 37 to the blinker line BL2, while the line 37 is normally connected to the blinker line BL1 via the normally open contact 42.
There is also a working contact 44 of the relay 40, which disconnects the rectifier bridge circuit when the relay 40 drops out, so that no positive potential can reach the positive direct current connection 33 of the rectifier bridge circuit via the flashing line BL2 and the relay 40 can switch on again.
The mode of operation of this circuit is as follows: In the event that the circuit breakers 26 are switched on, the relay 40 is connected to voltage via the closed break contact 41 and via the blinking line BLZ and the rectifier 32 as soon as the blinking line BL2 negative potential N and the blinking - line BLl positive potential P leads. After the relay 40 has responded, there is a constant positive or negative potential on the lines 35 and 36.
If the central changeover switch 20 is now switched over, the relay 40 will drop out again as soon as the blinking line BL2 again carries negative potential N. At the same time, the normally closed contact 41 is closed and thus negative potential N is applied to the line 35 and the normally open contact 42 is opened and the normally closed contact 43 is closed, so that the line 37 is connected to the flashing line BL2. The opening working contact 44 of the relay 40 prevents positive potential from being applied to the DC voltage connection 33 and causing the relay 40 to respond again.
As with the circuit according to the proposed arrangement, if the switch positions of the switching devices and the acknowledgment or control acknowledgment switch match, the feedback lights remain dark. If the position is different, however, the flashing light still appears.
The relay 40 is only switched on again when the changeover switch 20 is switched back to its starting position and positive potential is again present at the DC voltage connection 33 of the rectifier bridge circuit via the blinking line BL1 and the rectifier 29.
