Moisture insulation of buildings The invention relates to the moisture insulation of buildings with an insulating film covering the surface of the building part to be isolated.
The until today for moisture insulation, z. B. Groundwater insulation of buildings, used Bi tumen jute waterproofing membranes are increasingly being replaced by insulating films made of plastic, especially because the latter allow a less dependent on the weather and local conditions work. If the work on the construction is to be continued in winter, the choice of material for the moisture insulation is often inevitable on the plastic insulation films, as these correspond to all relevant requirements.
The fact that the insulation made of plastic film is weather-independent only affects the material itself.
It is known in the building industry that the attachment of film-like water and moisture insulation on a wet surface brings with it a whole series of problems, some of which have not yet been satisfactorily solved.
The most commonly used hot or cold bonding process requires a completely dry surface. It is therefore not uncommon that the gluing work has to be stopped for a long time due to unfavorable weather conditions, which is always associated with high costs.
In buildings with several basement floors below the groundwater level, the penetration of groundwater through the outer tub makes it considerably more difficult to install the groundwater insulation. Even if a complete bond has been created, in this case the hydrostatic pressure acting from the outside causes pockets of water under the insulating skin within a short time or even leads to the bonded film becoming detached before the inner surrounding walls can be concreted.
For this reason there is now a tendency to attach the insulation film using other methods, since the dry base is no longer an absolutely necessary precondition for its processing. For example, plastic profiles are concreted into the surface of the structural part to be insulated and plastic insulation foils are attached to them using a welding process. The insulation film is attached to the plastic profiles either at points or by means of a continuous weld seam.
Fastening the insulation foils to the already concreted-in plastic profiles by means of a weld seam has the disadvantage that if water penetrates from the outside, water pockets form above the profiles during work because the space required between the wall and foil is interrupted by the weld seam and the water cannot run off to the drainage points. These concerns do not exist with the point fastening. On the other hand, this requires that the fastening points are relatively close to one another so that the stress on the film that is present at each fastening point does not become too great.
The welding of the insulation film onto the plastic profiles, however, makes any further adjustment impossible, which is sometimes desirable in order to remedy annoying folds and other laying errors.
Instead of spot welding, special mounting elements (clips) are often used. However, these only allow the processing of insulation foils whose thickness does not exceed 1.5 mm.
Apart from flat laying insulation foils, no special measures to protect the foil are provided for this moisture insulation, so that the laying of the reinforcement, the vibration and the high pressure concreting stress represent protection problems that have to be solved on a case-by-case basis.
The purpose of the invention is to show moisture insulation by means of insulation films, in which the disadvantages shown do not occur, the production of which is in particular independent of weather and moisture, and which allows the insulation film to be stretched out smoothly as well as an easy-to-use application of protective film plates that is gentle on the stretched insulation film or cladding allows.
The moisture insulation according to the invention is characterized in that profile rails are arranged on the building surface to be covered by the insulating film, which have an anchoring groove that narrows towards the outside, and the insulating film is clamped in the anchoring groove of the profile rails by means of a cord made of flexible material.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the drawing and will be explained in more detail below. In the drawing: FIG. 1 shows a section through part of the moisture insulation, FIG. 2 shows the attachment of a protective film plate in section, and FIGS. 3-5 show a further embodiment of a plate attachment.
As can be seen in Fig. 1, the fastening device for the insulation film consists of a profiled rail 1, which is the actual connection between the base 10, for. B. concrete wall, and slide 2 represents.
The profile rail 1 has a trapezoidal cross-section and contains an anchoring groove 3 which narrows towards the outside, e.g. B. with a circular cross-section. At the front end, the side walls of the profile rail 1 are thickened and form two beads, preferably semicircular in cross-section, which narrow the groove opening ver and represent support shoulders 11a, 11b. The wall of the anchoring groove 3 is smooth everywhere and has no protrusions. In the bottom of the groove, depressions 12 can be made which receive the heads of any fastening screws 5 that may be used.
A plurality of such profile rails 1 are on the surface of the building part to be isolated, for. B. parallel to each other, arranged. The type of fastening is selected depending on the amount of moisture to be expected. If a concrete base is provided, they can also be set in concrete, whereby it is advisable to use the anchoring groove e.g. B. to be filled out by means of a foam rubber strand so that it is protected from contamination.
The rails 1 can also be placed on the base 10 and BEFE Stigt by screws 5 on this, as shown in FIG. If the seepage water is to be expected, spacers are required for the screw connections, e.g. B. washers 7 to use, especially if the rails are to be laid horizontally on rising walls, so that the drainage of the seepage through the rails is not prevented. The screw fastening un ter the use of spacers is shown in Fig. 1, in which any seepage water is indicated by wavy arrows.
The insulation film 2 is placed on the profile rail arrangement and, if necessary, pressed into the anchoring groove 3 with the aid of suitable tools together with a cord 4 made of soft elastic material. The diameter of the non-deformed elastic cord 4 is larger than the groove opening 13, but smaller than the groove diameter.
By tightening the film, the cord 4 is pressed against the support shoulders 11a, 11b, where it deforms ver and holds the film in the desired position. The wrinkles in the film web that may have remained when tensioned for the first time can easily be smoothed out by pushing the cord 4 back into the groove 3 again in the relevant section and tensioning the film again.
The above-described attachment of the film in the profile rails is very easy to implement and can also be performed when moisture is present. Since the inner walls of the profile seemed smooth and the cord is elastic, the film is not damaged during installation. The profile rail can consist of metal or a plastic, its profile being dimensioned in such a way that practically no gaping of the rail side walls occurs when the film is stretched.
It is often desirable for the insulating film 2 to be protected by a cover plate 6 or for cladding to be attached over the film. Since the insulating film laid out must not be damaged, the fastening of cover plates is generally very difficult, but not with the profile rails described above.
To attach the protective plates 6, as shown in Fig. 2, with a head 14 made of elastic Ma material, for. B. rubber, fitted fasteners, e.g. B. Screws B. The rubber head 14 is flattened laterally, so that it can be relatively easily pushed through the narrow opening 13 in the anchoring groove and after turning 90 about the screw benachse the screw in the rail receives a tight fit.
These rubber head screws are inserted into the anchoring groove 3 of the profile rails 1 at the joints of the cord 4 or interruptions of the same, so that their threaded shaft 15 protrudes sufficiently far from the groove neck. On the screw shafts 15, the protective plates 6 can be easily attached and then fastened by means of 9 nuts.
By attaching the protective plates in this way, the insulating film 2 is not damaged in any way.
In FIGS. 3 to 5, a plate attachment is shown which is particularly suitable for lighter plates. The fasteners are thin sheet metal strips 16, for. B. made of aluminum, which supply points at the intended fastening by the rubber cord 4, together with the insulating film 2, are clamped in the rail la. When fastening the insulating film 2, a sheet metal strip 16 is placed at each such fastening point provided between the insulating film 2 and the rubber cord 4, so that it protrudes equally far on both sides of the rubber cord.
With the rubber cord 4 insulation film 2 and sheet metal strips 16 are then pressed into the anchoring groove 3a of the profile rail la (Fig. 3). The protective plates 6 have slots 17 at the corresponding locations. When placing the plates 6, the folded sheet metal strips 16 are pushed through the slots 17 and then wound up into rolls 18 by means of a suitable tool (FIG. 4). This plate attachment has the advantage that the rubber cord 4 does not need to be cut zer at the attachment points.
If the plate surface is to be smooth, the slots 17 can be folded so that there are sufficiently deep and wide grooves 19, into which the rolled-up sheet metal strip rolls 18 can be driven (FIG. 5).
The moisture insulation described above in an exemplary embodiment can be used with advantage as a moisture barrier, but can also be used in general wherever stable documents are to be covered with foils, if necessary, including a protective layer, especially in civil engineering in the presence of seepage water or moisture.
Since the rail and most of the panels used for this purpose can easily be bent, such moisture insulation is particularly recommended for tunnel constructions, since the curvature can be followed.
