Eine vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung des Erfindungsgegen standes kann dadurch erzielt werden, dass an der Weblade zur Zusammenarbeit mit der Fadenklemme ein gesonderter Zubringer vorgesehen ist, der sich hinter dem jeweils einzutragenden Schussfaden befindet; dass die Fadenklemme aus zwei Klemmteilen mit schnabelförmigen Öffnungen besteht, von denen minde stens ein Klemmteil federnd ausgebildet ist; dass an den Klemmteilen zur Einstellung des Klemm druckes eine Stellschraube vorgesehen ist; dass die Berührungsstelle der beiden Klemmteile durch eine kalottenförmige Erhöhung in mindestens einen Klemmteil gebildet ist;
dass die Fadenklemme in Kettrichtung unter der Wirkung einer Feder verschiebbar oder ausschwingbar gelagert ist; dass der Zubringer aus einer hervorspringenden Kan te, beispielsweise einem Stift besteht, an welcher eine in ihrer Höhe verstellbare Kerbe für den -Schussfaden angeordnet ist; dass der Zubringer in seinem Abstand zu dem Fadenführorgan verstellbar angeordnet ist;
Die Erfindung wird nachstehend an einem Ausfüh rungsbeispiel näher erläutert werden. In den zugehörigen Zeichnungen zeigen: Fig. 1 die Schussfadenvorlage in der Ausgangsstel- lung; Fig.2 die Schussfadenlage bei dem Klemmvor gang;

Durch den Fadensenker 12 wird der Schussfaden 2 abgesenkt. Bei dem darauf erfolgenden Abschuss des Greiferwebschüt- zens 9 wird der abgesenkte Schussfaden 2 von der Klemmvorrichtung 10 des Greiferwebschützens 9 erfasst. Dadurch, dass der Schussfaden 2 einerseits der Klemm vorrichtung 10 in der Fadenklemme 6 und andererseits der Klemmvorrichtung 10 durch die Fadenbremsen 3;
Gripper shuttle loom The invention relates to a rapier shuttle loom with a thread guide provided on the weft insertion side outside the compartment and a cutting means for the weft thread, the thread guide being behind, the cutting means being in front of the shuttle trajectory and the piece of thread located between the shed entrance and the weft bobbin each inserted weft thread is brought into a transverse forward position to the shuttle when beating it by means of the sley.
In known rapier shuttle looms of this type, the weft thread is presented through the sley when the inserted weft thread is beaten up. After the weft thread stop and the shed change, the weft thread inserted by the stationary weft bobbin protrudes from the shed point on the entry side and assumes a backward sloping position outside the shed, so that a sharp point between the fabric edge and the weft thread running from the shed point to the weft bobbin Angle arises.
Here, this weft thread is guided over appropriate thread guide elements and over one or more thread brakes. The position of the weft thread running diagonally backwards from the shed is necessary so that the weft thread crosses the path of the rapier shuttle and thus when the weft thread is lowered it can be grasped by the clamping device of the rapier shuttle and entered into the shed.
Even before the rapier shuttle with the clamped weft thread enters the shed, a cutting blade is pivoted between the weft thread end protruding from the shed point and the path of the rapier shuttle, on which the weft thread is cut as the rapier shuttle moves further becomes.
The weft thread end remaining between the clamping device of the rapier shuttle and the cutting point is carried through the compartment and is stored on the other side after opening the Klemmvor direction of the rapier shuttle.
Since the weft thread jumps back due to its thread tension after the clamping device of the rapier shuttle is opened, a known rapier shuttle weaving machine of this type works with a weft retraction device for the inserted weft thread, whereby initially a longer weft thread than the fabric width requires is entered into the shed is, which is then withdrawn by a certain amount, whereby a tightening of the weft thread in the shed is achieved.
The weft thread retraction device consists here of a separately controlled retraction lever which is arranged between two thread guide members.
The known rapier shuttle looms of this type have the disadvantage that, due to the sloping backward position of the weft thread, the rapier shuttle grasps the lowered weft thread at an acute angle, so that when the rapier shuttle moves further in the direction of the shed, the piece of weft thread between the clamp device of the gripper webschützen and the subject tip is relaxed as a result of the decreasing distance between the clamping device's rule and subject tip and sags loosely.
The consequence of this is that the weft thread is not properly clamped in the clamping device of the rapier shuttle. As a result, the necessary clamping force is missing even when the weft thread is cut, so that the weft thread can be pulled through a piece in the clamping device, which results in unequal lengths of the inserted weft thread.
Since the reed is advantageously made somewhat wider than the fabric width during the weaving process, special means for tightening the submitted weft thread are required in rapier shuttle looms of this type, since the weft thread from the stationary weft bobbin is required when the reed is beating due to the fact that the reed protrudes beyond the fabric edge is tightened.
Finally, the known rapier shuttle weaving machines with a weft thread retraction device for the inserted weft thread have the disadvantage that separate control elements are necessary for the weft thread retraction device, which makes these devices very expensive. There is also the risk of the weft thread end protruding from the specialist point being dragged in.
The aim of the invention is now to eliminate these disadvantages. The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a rapier shuttle weaving machine in which a secure and uniform gripping and clamping of the weft thread by the rapier shuttle and a uniform cutting of the weft thread is possible.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that a thread clamp is arranged on the outside next to the cutting means and the weft thread inserted in each case can be fed to this by means of the sley at its point entering the shed.
An advantageous embodiment of the subject matter of the invention can be achieved in that a separate feeder is provided on the sley for cooperation with the thread clamp, which is located behind the weft thread to be inserted; that the thread clamp consists of two clamping parts with beak-shaped openings, of which at least one clamping part is resilient; that an adjusting screw is provided on the clamping parts to adjust the clamping pressure; that the contact point of the two clamping parts is formed by a dome-shaped elevation in at least one clamping part;
that the thread clamp is mounted such that it can be displaced or swung out in the warp direction under the action of a spring; that the feeder consists of a protruding edge, for example a pin, on which a height-adjustable notch for the weft thread is arranged; that the feeder is arranged to be adjustable in its distance from the thread guide member;
that the cutting means can be pivoted from above between the shed point and the path of the rapier shuttle; and that a hold-down plate for the weft thread end is arranged at the foot of the knife of the cutting means and extends into the immediate vicinity of the fabric edge.
The present invention ensures a reliable and uniform gripping of the presented weft thread by the clamping device of the rapier shuttle, with special means for tightening the presented weft thread being dispensed with.
The invention will be explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment. The accompanying drawings show: FIG. 1 the weft thread feed in the starting position; 2 shows the weft thread layer in the Klemmvor gang;
3 shows the weft thread layer during the cutting process; 4 shows the weft thread layer after the cutting process; 5 shows the weft thread layer after the weft thread has been withdrawn; 6 shows the side view of the weft thread template; 7 shows the side view of the weft thread retraction;
8 shows an enlarged representation of the thread clamp and FIG. 9 shows the top view of the thread clamp. From the stationary weft bobbin 1, the weft thread 2 is fed via the thread brakes 3;
4, of which the thread brake 4 can be relieved in a manner known per se and therefore not described in detail during the weft insertion, and the thread guide element 5 is guided. In the starting position shown in FIG. 1, the weft thread 2 continues to the thread clamp 6, which is fixedly arranged next to the fabric edge 7 at the level of the shed point 8, the weft thread 2 crossing the path of the rapier shuttle 9 with the clamping device 10.
On the sley 11, the thread countersink 12 is arranged, which is displaced by the rod 13 in Schwenkbe movements. Furthermore, a feeder 14 is arranged on the sley 11 in such a way that in the foremost dead center position of the sley 11 the feeder 14 is located directly next to the thread clamp 6, specifically on the side facing away from the fabric edge 7. The feeder 14 itself is formed by a pin which has a notch 15 and which can be adjusted in height by means of the adjusting screw 16 (FIG. 7).
The cutting means 19 is attached to a stationary rocking lever 17, which is also set in pivoting movements by a rod 18. Both the rod 18 and the rod 13 are driven via a cam disk (not shown in detail), whereby for both rods 13; 18 a single cam is provided. The cutting means 19 consists of a knife 20, at the tip of which there is a hold-down plate 21 for the weft thread end 22 of the weft thread 23 last inserted from the other side (FIG. 6).
At the same time, the hold-down plate 21 at the tip of the knife 20 prevents injuries from the tip of the knife 20. The thread clamp 6 consists of two clamping parts 26; 27 with schnabelförmi gene openings 28; 29. The clamping parts 26; 27 are arranged on holder 30, the clamping part 27 being designed to be promotional.
Both clamping parts 26; 27 have immediately behind the beak-shaped openings 28; 29 dome-shaped elevations 31; 32 (Fig. 8). The clamping part 27, which is designed in a conveying manner, is pulled onto the holder 30 by means of an adjusting screw 33, whereby the clamping pressure at the point of contact of the dome-shaped elevations 31; 32 is adjustable.
The holder 30 is pivotally mounted at the pivot point 34 on a fixed plate 35 (FIG. 9). At the level of the holder 30, a spiral spring 36 with an elevation 37 is arranged on the stationary plate 35 such that the elevation 37 lies behind the holder 30 and holds it in the working position with the thread clamp 6.
It goes without saying that all of the described elements for double-sided weft insertion are also arranged on both sides of the rapier shuttle loom.
The device described now works as follows: In the starting position shown in FIG. 1, the sley 11 moves towards its rear dead center after the weft thread 23 inserted from the other side has previously been hit. The weft thread 2 protruding from the specialist point 8 is guided to the thread guide element 5 via the thread clamp 6. Shortly before the gripper shuttle 9 is fired, the rods 13 and 18 are moved upward, whereby the thread countersink 12 and the cutting means 19 are brought into their working position shown in FIG. At the same time, the thread brake 4 is relieved.
The weft thread 2 is lowered by the thread countersink 12. When the rapier shuttle 9 is subsequently fired, the lowered weft thread 2 is gripped by the clamping device 10 of the rapier shuttle 9. The fact that the weft thread 2 on the one hand the clamping device 10 in the thread clamp 6 and on the other hand the clamping device 10 by the thread brakes 3;
4 is held, it is under tension on both sides of the clamping device 10 at the time of clamping, whereby a secure clamping of the weft thread 2 is achieved (FIG. 2). During the pivoting movement of the cutting means 19 into its working position, the weft thread end 22 of the weft thread 23 protruding from the shed point 8 was simultaneously pressed down by the hold-down plate 21 and thus brought out of the area of the weft thread 2 in order to prevent it from being dragged into the shed.
During the further movement of the gripper web shuttle 9 in the subject, the weft thread 2 is pulled on the one hand from the thread clamp 6, which is due to the resilient design of the clamping part 27 and a pressure set with the adjusting screw 33 on the dome-shaped increases 31; 32 of the clamping parts 26; 27 is possible according to the material to be processed. As a result, the weft thread 2 drawn from the thread clamp 6 reaches the knife 20 of the cutting means 19, where it is cut off when the rapier shuttle 9 moves further.
On the other hand, the weft thread 2 is moved by the rapier shuttle 9 via the thread guide element 5 and the thread brakes 3; 4 drawn from the weft reel 1 and entered in the compartment (Fig. 3 and 4). Then the thread countersink 12 and the cutting means 19 by lowering the rods 13; 18 brought back from their working position to their ready position.
At the time the rapier shuttle 9 emerges from the shed, the inserted weft thread 2 is released by the clamping device 10 of the rapier shuttle 9 in a known manner and deposited, the end of the weft thread 2 protruding from the shed. At the same time the sley 11 moves into its front dead center position. At the same time, the thread brake 4 is also loaded again, so that the weft thread 2 is not pulled from the weft bobbin 1. When the sley 11 is moved into its front dead center position, the feeder 14 arranged on the sley 11 detects the weft thread 2, which lies in the notch 15 of the feeder 14.
Since, as a result of the increased braking effect of the thread brake 4, which is now effective, the weft thread 2 is not pulled from the weft bobbin 1, the weft thread 2 is withdrawn by a certain amount from the shed by the feeder 14. During this retraction movement as a result of the sley 11 moving into the front dead center position, the shed closes at the same time, so that the frictional resistance of the weft thread 2 between the warp threads becomes greater and greater, whereby a uniform tensioning of the weft thread 2 is achieved.
By changing the distance from the feeder 14 to the thread guide element 5, the length of the retraction path of the weft thread 2 can be adjusted, the distance from the pull ring 14 to the thread guide element 5 being changed by adjusting the thread guide element 5. Shortly before reaching the front dead point of the sley 11, the shed occurs, so that a further withdrawal of the weft thread 2 from the shed is no longer possible.
The weft thread 2 is then drawn further by the feeder 14 via the thread brake 3 and the loaded thread brake 4 from the weft bobbin 1. When the sley 11 has reached its front dead center position, the weft thread 2 becomes the thread clamp 6 again through the feeder 14 transferred (FIG. 5) and remains in the thread clamp 6 when the sley 11 subsequently falls into its rear dead center position. Now the described working cycle is repeated, but from the other side.
If, for unforeseen reasons, any moving part hits the parts of the thread clamp 6, the holder 30 overcomes the elevation 37 of the spiral spring 36 and the holder 30 swivels around the pivot point 34 so that damage to the thread clamp 6 is avoided will. In such a case, the holder 30 is brought back into its working position by hand.
