Siloverschluss
Silo closure
The present invention relates to a silo closure with a conical shut-off element at an opening arranged on the lower part of the silo, the shut-off element being arranged in a housing, in particular for the dust silo of a dedusting system.
For example, a device is known with at least one container for receiving and metered removal of pourable material, in particular powdered food such as flour, icing sugar and the like, which has a funnel-shaped lower part with a removal device, a shut-off device and at least one porous filter element for blowing in a gaseous medium Has loosening of the bulk material and prevention of bridging in the same.
The aforementioned device is characterized in that the funnel-shaped lower part of the container has a widened cross-section at at least one point between the filling and mouth opening of the funnel, and that the porous filter element for the access of the gaseous medium is arranged outside the slideway of the bulk material.
Various disadvantages have arisen when emptying the goods. The use of compressed air in the known emptying devices results, on the one hand, in a relatively high structural effort and, on the other hand, in increased dust generation during the filling process or when filling the powdery material into sacks.
The present invention is based on the object of creating a silo closure with which the above-described disadvantages inherent in the known silo closures are avoided, or which ensures good drainage of the bulk material without the use of pneumatic means while avoiding dust formation.
According to the invention, a ventilation line leading through the shut-off element and the bulk space of the silo is provided to achieve the object.
The drawing shows a section through an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in a simplified representation.
According to the drawing, a housing 3 for receiving the silo closure is arranged on the mouth opening 1 of the funnel-shaped lower part 2 of a silo (not shown in detail in the drawing) or is firmly connected to the lower part 2. The lower flange 4 of the lower part 2 has a circular opening 5 with a diameter which corresponds to the diameter of the mouth opening 1 of the funnel-shaped lower part 2. In the interior of the housing 3, a funnel 6 which tapers downwards and which has a larger diameter than the opening 5 at the upper end is arranged under the opening 5 or is flanged to the flange 4. A cylindrical section 7 connects to the mouth opening of the funnel 6, the mouth opening 8 of which can be opened or closed with the aid of a shut-off element 9.
The shut-off element 9, which is used to remove the bulk material from the silo, consists of an upwardly tapering conical jacket 10, to which a pipe 11 connects, which is connected to a vertical, with the silo via a web 22 and through protrudes into the bulk space of the pipe 12 passing through it. The conical casing 10 and the pipe 11 firmly connected to the same are guided to and fro in the pipe 12 of the silo so that they can move back and forth in the vertical direction, the conical casing 10 closing the opening 8 in the uppermost position of the closing element 9 and the opening 8 in a lowered position Release opening 8 so that the bulk material located in the silo can escape through the opening 8 from the silo.
To raise and lower the closing element 9, a pivotable two-armed lever 14 is provided around a pivot pin 13 arranged on the housing 3, which has a counterweight 15 at one end and is articulated to the conical jacket 10 at the other end. In the interior of the jacket 10 there is arranged a web 20 which is firmly connected to the same and which is provided with a slot 16 and has a horizontal section as well as a section which runs obliquely downwards. In the slot 16 there is guided a support pin 17 which is firmly connected to one end of the lever 14 and which can slide into the slot 16 when the lever 14 is pivoted, thereby enabling the shut-off element 9 to move back and forth in the vertical direction.
At the upper end of the tube 11, a so-called one-way valve 23 has been arranged, which releases the air flow in the tubes 11 and 12 from bottom to top. The valve 23 closes the upper opening of the tube 11 by its own force of gravity. It consists of a hemispherical closing body 24 which forms a unit with three crosspieces 25, 26 and 27. The webs 25, 26 and 27 are dimensioned such that they give the valve body a guide in the longitudinal direction of the tube 12. In the middle area of the web 26 there is an elongated hole 28 through which a screw bolt 19 fastened to the tube 12 is passed. The elongated hole 28 is dimensioned such that the valve 23 still closes the tube 11 when the closing element 9 is already somewhat open.
This happens because the valve body 23 closes the upper opening of the tube 11 by its own force of gravity when the closing element 9 is opened until the upper edge of the elongated hole 28 comes to rest on the bolt 19.
A cap 29 has been arranged at the upper end of the tube 12, by means of which it is intended to prevent any constituents from falling in an undesirable manner onto the valve body 23 from above and accumulating on the same. On the cap 29 openings 30 are provided through which the air can flow. The one-way valve 23 essentially serves the task of keeping the interior of the silo closed against the upper opening at the end of the pipe 11 until the closing element 9 is opened.
The housing 3 is provided at the lower end with a preferably cylindrically shaped filling nozzle 21, via which the bulk material located in the silo can be filled into bags or other suitable containers, for example.
The operation of the silo closure or the shut-off device 9 is as follows:
If bulk material is to be removed from the silo, the lever 14 is pivoted upwards around the pivot 13, whereby the conical closing body 10 lifts off the opening 8 and the bulk material through the filling nozzle 21 into the bag or kettle provided, for example - depending on the set Position of the shut-off element 9 slides down in a more or less large amount per unit of time. Here, the air in the sack is displaced and, together with the dust whirled up by the falling bulk material, is diverted through the conical jacket 10, the pipes 11, 12 and the valve 23 into the upper area of the silo that is not filled with bulk material, whereby the swirling of Dust in the area of the filling station is avoided.
The design of the silo closure also ensures that the sliding of the bulk material from the filling nozzle 21 is not hindered by pent-up air, since the air can always escape through the shut-off device 9 and the pipe 12 of the silo during the filling process.
