Device for automatically placing clay cakes on the molds of revolver presses The invention relates to a device for automatically placing clay cakes on the molds of revolver presses. Usually these Tonku chen are supplied by means of a conveyor belt from the extruder, a storage room or the like. The brick presses.
Devices are known in which the clay cakes are placed on the For men with the aid of swivel arms, pre-press elements, suction heads, levers or the like.
Disadvantageously, however, existing systems cannot be equipped with the known devices, since the synchronization of the movement sequence of the conveyor belt, Abnahmevorrich device and the turret press is practically impossible or possible only with great difficulty. These difficulties are compounded when a single extrusion press has to supply several turret presses with clay cake, which is often the case in brickworks.
In addition, the previously known devices for lifting, distributing and storing the clay cakes, which have different dimensions and can consist of both evacuated and non-evacuated clay, are unsuitable for the automation of an operation.
The invention is based on the object of providing a device for automatically placing Tonku chen which does not have the disadvantages described above and which enables subsequent automation of existing systems.
This object is achieved according to the present invention by means of a device which consists of a cake lifter that removes the clay cakes from the conveyor belt, a storage and feeder belt connected downstream of this and a pressure plate that places the cake, with between the pressure plate and: the storage and A feed belt is provided.
With such a structure, it is possible without difficulty to combine the cake lifter, the storage and feeder belt, the feed belt and the pressure plate in an independent, closed unit which can be retrofitted into existing systems.
The object of the invention is explained in more detail below .an a particularly preferred embodiment, with reference to FIGS. 1-3 of the drawing, the pear side view of the inventive device in a schematic representation in three different working positions.
The device 11 according to the invention is arranged between the drum 12 of a turret press, on the circumference of which mold halves 13 are attached, and the conveyor belt 14 that supplies the clay cakes.
At the take-off point of the conveyor belt 14 plaster rolls 15 are provided between which the fork 16 of the cake lifter can reach through. The fork 16 is guided by means of a gear 17-20 and a parallelogram linkage 21 in such a way that it passes through the positions shown in FIGS. 1-3.
The cake lifter 16 is followed by the storage and feeder belt, which consists of two supply belts 22 and 23. Each supply belt is equipped with its own drive 24 and 25. Furthermore, the supply belt 23 can be raised or lowered by means of the pneumatic piston 26. This pneumatic piston 26 is controlled by a valve which is actuated by a cam connected to the main drive shaft 10, not shown.
The supply belt 23 is followed by the continuously revolving feed belt 27, which is divided into two strands arranged at a distance next to one another in such a way that the lowered supply belt is located with its end between them. This feed belt 27 conveys the clay cakes between the pressure plate 28 and one of the mold halves 13 attached to the drum 12. At this point in time, the drum 12 is at rest.
The pressure plate 28, which is connected to the frame of the device 11 via the linkage 29, which is hinged since Lich, is operated via the toggle lever linkage 31a, 31b from the cam 32 connected to the main drive shaft 10 and the pneumatic piston 33 in the following way:
Once the drum 12 has rotated into the position shown in FIG. 1, the mold half 28 is first advanced by means of the hydraulic piston 30, which is controlled by a valve actuated by the main drive shaft 10, so that the pressure plate 28 and the mold half 13 die assume the position shown in FIG.
At this point, the task band 27, as will be described in more detail below, throws a cake 33 between the pressure plate and mold half. The cam disk 32, which rests in a non-positive manner on the roller 34 of the lever 31, now pushes the pressure plate 28 more with its cam 32 'via the toggle linkage 31 into the position shown in FIG.
At the same time, the pressurized pneumatic cylinder exerts a resilient force on the pressure plate 28, whereby the cake is pressed evenly into the mold half.
In order to enable further rotation of the press drum 12, the pressure plate 28, ge controls by the continuously rotating cam disk 32, is then withdrawn into the position shown in FIG. 3, while the pressurized cylinder 30 is relieved at the same time.
The limit switches 35 to 37 are arranged above the supply belts 22, 23 in such a way that their switching arms can be deflected by the clay cakes located on the supply belts. These limit switches control the drive motors 24 and 25 of the supply belts 22 and 23 in the manner described below.
It is assumed that, as shown in FIG. 1, the clay cake 33 has been lifted from the feed belt. Thus, the switching arm of the switch 35 is no longer deflected, whereby the drives 24 and 25 of the supply belts are switched on. If the clay cake 38 moves from its position shown in FIG. 1 into that shown in FIG. 2, switch 35 is actuated again, whereby drives 24 and 25 are switched off. At the same time, the clay cake 39 has moved one place further, while it is assumed that place 40 in FIG. 1 was still unoccupied at this point in time.
As FIG. 1 also shows, the fork 16 of the cake lifter is located below the conveyor belt 14. If another cake is fed via this belt, it breaks through a light barrier, not shown, which controls the cake lifter 16 in such a way that the cake 41 reaches the Volume 22 is put on. The attached cake 41 deflects the switching arm 37, whereby the drive 24 of the belt 22 is turned on and the cake 41 is conveyed into the position shown in Fig. 3 Darge.
If the cake 41 reaches this place, it deflects the switching arm 36, whereby the drive 24 is switched off again.
Meanwhile, the cake lifter 16 has moved back to its starting position and grabbed another cake 43 in the manner explained above, with which it now remains in the waiting position, as can be seen from FIG.
If the cake 41 is in its position shown in FIG. 3, the cake 43 is also placed on the belt 22 so that now both supply belts 22 and 23 are covered with cake. At the same time, the cake lifter 16 moves back into the position shown in FIG. 1 in order to grasp it when a further cake appears and to move into the waiting position shown in FIG. 2.
Regardless of this loading process, the main drive shaft 10 has performed a full rotation together with the cam disk 32, and brought the pressure plate 28 from the posi tion shown in FIG. 1 via the position shown in FIG. 2 into the one shown in FIG. 3, such as this has already been explained above. In addition, the supply belt 23 was raised again by means of the pneumatic piston 26, so that the advanced cake 38 lies above the feed belt 27 and cannot be grasped by this.
Only when a new work cycle is initiated is the supply belt 23 lowered and the process explained above is repeated anew.
It should also be mentioned that at the take-off point of the conveyor belt 14 made of plaster of paris or clad with plaster support rollers 15 are provided which prevent the clay cake from sticking to the take-off point. For the same reason, the pressure plate 28 is equipped with a plaster insert.
The main drive shaft 10 of the device is driven by the drive of the turret press via an interposed chain wheel which is arranged at the level of the main drive shaft lfl. This type of drive allows a quick change of shape in a simple manner without the drive means having to be removed.
