Device for programmed learning The invention relates to a device for programmed learning, in which the learner is presented with a sequence of questions and associated answers on one or more information carriers, initially only one or more questions being visible and a free field for writing down the answer of the learner, and after the information carrier can only be transported in one direction, the correct answer appears, while the written answer comes under a transparent cover.
The method of so-called programmed learning is increasingly finding its way into practice for learning a field of knowledge. This method essentially consists in providing the learner with information in small steps, the understanding of which is checked by including tasks, whereby the learner is given the opportunity to compare the task he has solved with a given solution and thus himself to be able to convince of the correctness or the incorrectness of his solution.
For this purpose books are already known in which the tasks dealing with this are inserted between the information, it being possible for the given solutions to be included on another page or in an extra volume.
The programmed learning with the help of a book, in which information, tasks and given solutions are contained, has proven itself particularly with students who do self-lessons.
Devices for programmed learning have already become known which are designed in the form of a box, the answer given by the examiner being moved into the box and this disappears under a transparent cover.
These known arrangements have the major disadvantage that they have moving parts for moving the tasks, answers and solutions, the production, attachment and storage of which is associated with considerable effort.
Proceeding from this prior art, the invention is based on the object of creating a device which is constructed in a simple manner, so that mechanical inhibitions, disturbances, etc. are not possible.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the device has a box provided with a lid, which is divided into several compartments, into which sheet parts provided with the predetermined solutions and serving as information carriers and related sheet parts to be labeled are inserted Compartments are separated from one another by locking elements in such a way that the leaves formed by the said leaf parts can only be pushed or pulled through in one direction by grasping them by hand through passage slots provided between the locking elements and the cover.
Embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, namely: Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the device in the open state, Fig. 2 is a view, Fig. 3 is a section along the line III-III of FIG. 2, FIG 4 shows another embodiment of the device, also in a perspective view in the open state, FIG. 5 shows a plan view of the box according to FIG. 4, FIG. 6 shows a section according to line VI-VI of FIG.
7 shows a further perspective illustration in the open state, FIG. 8 shows a view of the box according to FIG. 7 and FIG. 9 shows a section according to line IX-IX of FIG. B.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3, 1 denotes the box on which the cover 2 is placed. The box 1 is divided into individual compartments 3 to 8, which are used to hold the sheet parts. The individual compartments 3 to 8 are divided from one another by the locking elements 9. The compartments 3, 6 and 7 are used to hold the sheet parts 10 to be labeled by the student and the compartments 4, 5 and 8 are used to hold the sheet parts 11 printed with the given solutions.
The locking elements 9 are in the area of the starting position, i.e. of compartments 3 and 4, and in the area of the end position, i.e. of compartments 7 and 8, provided with recesses so that compartments 3 and 4 and 7 and 9 are in direct connection with one another.
The locking elements 9 are designed in cross-section Winkelelför mig, wherein the leg 12 is attached perpendicular to the box floor 12.
The cover 2 is designed to be transparent in its area assigned to the compartments 4 and 5, so that it is not possible to see the sheet parts which are located in these compartments.
In the area of the compartment 3, the cover is provided with a recess 15 which enables the learner to write on the sheet parts 10 without hindrance.
At its other end, the cover 2 has an incision 16 which facilitates the further conveying of the sheet parts 10, 11 through the box 1.
The lid is equipped at its the box 1 overlap the edge 17 with guide slots, in which pins 19 attached to the box 1 einrei fen. By moving the cover 2, it is firmly seated so that it cannot be easily removed upwards.
The box 1 has at 20 a sharp edge which is used to tear off the handle pieces 23 on the blade parts.
However, there is also the possibility, as indicated at 21, to place the tear-off edge higher and to have it extend over the entire width of compartment 8. The handle 23 extends in this case also over the entire width of compartment 8 and contains information for the student. These are torn off at the edge 21 and can then be stapled especially abge.
The sheet parts 10 to be labeled and the sheet parts 11 printed with the given solutions are connected to one another by a web 22 so that the solutions given by the student and the given solutions always adhere to one another and can therefore be easily compared with one another.
The laterally protruding grip piece 23 can be separated from the smooth parts 10, 11 at the perforation line 24.
With a lock is referred to, which makes accidental opening of the lid impossible. This version is particularly suitable for schools.
The mode of operation of the device according to the invention will be described in more detail with reference to the embodiment according to FIGS.
The sheet parts 11 printed with the given solutions and the sticking to them over the web 22, the sheet parts 10 to be labeled by the student are placed in the compartments 3 and 4 and then the box 1 with the lid 2 is firmly closed with the aid of the lock 25. The student now has a book, an index card with the task to be solved, or else the tasks to be solved are printed directly on the sheet part 10. The student enters the solutions determined by him on the sheet part 10. The lid above the compartment 4 is opaque so that the student does not have the opportunity to see the given solutions.
As soon as the student has finished solving the problem, he lifts the blade part 10 and pushes it through the slot between the locking element 9 and the cover 2, while at the same time pushing his left hand through the incision 16 in the cover 2 grips the handle 23 and, with its help, conveys the related sheet parts 10 and 11 further into the compartments 7 and 8. The handle 23 is then cut off at the tear-off edge 20 or 21 at the perforated line 24.
During the process of moving the sheet parts 10 and 11 through the box, the test specimen has no way of looking at the given solutions or making a correction to the solution given by him, since it is pushed back on the one hand because of the locking elements 9 and on the other hand because of the wedge-like projections 26 on the underside of the lid 2 is not possible. As soon as the sheet parts 10 and 11 are in parts 7 and 8, the student has the opportunity to compare the solution given by him on the sheet part 10 with the given solution on the sheet part 1, since the cover 2 above the compartments 7 and 8 is transparent.
The lockable execution described above is particularly suitable for schools, as it is now possible to leave several classes in a large room with only one supervisor in order to acquire the subject matter through information and exercises independently of a teacher Teacher shortage is a significant advantage.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 to 6, the same reference numerals are used for the same parts.
The separating element between the compartments 7 and 8 is double-walled, with the projection 32 located on the cover engaging in the slot between the walls 30, 31 so that the sheet parts 10, 11 cannot be pulled over.
The sheet parts 10, 11 differ from the embodiment described above, as there is another sheet above half of the sheet parts 11 which contain the predetermined solutions, with information. After solving the predetermined tasks ben the pushing of the sheets takes place in the manner described above, whereupon the information and solution sheet at the perforation line 33 are separated from each other at the tear-off edge 21. The sheet parts 10 and 11 are now in the compartments 7 and 8 so that they can be compared with one another. The separated information sheet can be specially stapled.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 7 to 9, a slide 40 is attached in the cover 2, which consists of un transparent material. The slide 40 has a projection 41 which engages in the incision 42 of the locking element 9. Above the compartment 4, the cover 2 is opaque, so that the predetermined solutions on the leaf part 11 cannot be seen. After the inscription has taken place, the sheet parts 10 and 11 are pushed into the compartments 7 and 8 in the direction of the arrow 43. However, it can only be pushed over if the slide 40 is located above the compartment 8, since otherwise the shoulder 41 and the slot 42 will block it.
As soon as the sheet parts 10 and 11 are in the compartments 7 and 8, the slide 40 can be withdrawn, because otherwise a comparison is not possible because it is made of opaque material.
If the slider is withdrawn beforehand, the sheet is damaged through the projection 41 in the slot 42. In all embodiments, a paper holder 50 can be provided, which consists for example of a rubber band that engages in two incisions.
The above-described embodiments of the device according to the invention have in common that there is no inspection of the predefined solution and a correction is no longer possible after inspection of the predefined solutions.
