Spacer for a roof batten In the production of tile roofs with a sub-roof, it is known to first nail a counter-batten onto the sub-roof and then to attach the actual roof battens to the latter. The task of the counter battens, which are arranged across the direction of the roof, is to enable ventilation between the sub-roof and the actual roof skin, so that condensation is avoided or eliminated.
However, it has been found that the counter battens that are firmly attached to the sub-roof are attacked and destroyed by any transient condensation.
The purpose of the invention is to create a spacer for a batten with which the above parts can be eliminated in a simple and effective manner.
The spacer according to the invention is characterized in that it has a support surface, a stop opposite this for the roof batten and means for holding the roof batten in the stop.
The spacer is particularly suitable for roofs with a slight incline. It can be glued, screwed or preferably nailed onto a sub-roof. It is possible to firmly arrange pins for driving into the substructure, which is usually a sub-roof, on the support surface.
Preferably, the spacer expands on the side facing away from the stop towards the support surface, whereby the support and the support of the spacer on the sub-roof are increased.
The stop can for example consist of a support provided on the spacer, but it is advantageously formed by a recess with a support surface and a stop surface.
It is useful to see the stop with means for holding the batten to be applied to it ver. For this purpose, one or more mandrels can be provided, for example, on the support surface or on the stop surface of the stop, into which the roof batten is driven when it is applied. However, at least one hook is preferably arranged next to the stop, which can be turned over against an attached roof batten and driven into it.
The retaining means are expediently anchored inseparably in the spacer.
The spacer can be hollow or partially hollow, but is preferably carried out as a solid body. The design largely depends on the construction material used. For example, iron, plastic, concrete or the like come into consideration as materials.
An embodiment of the inventive spacer is described in more detail with reference to the drawing, with FIG. 1 showing the spacer in plan and FIG. 2 showing the spacer in side view. The spacer 1 illustrated in the figures is solid and consists of concrete, for example one of grade B 300, and can optionally be reinforced.
The spacer 1 has a support surface 2 and a stop 3. The latter is formed by a recess which has a support surface 4 and a stop surface 5 for a roof batten 6. The recess is arranged on the top of the spacer, namely laterally, so that the roof batten is free on one side 7 for supporting the approaches of Dachplat th.
On the side 8 facing away from the stop 3, the spacer 1 expands towards the support surface 2.
To attach the roof batten 6, a hook 9 is cast in the spacer, which is then turned over against the roof batten and driven into this according to the dashed line.
The spacer is aligned on a sub-roof with its stop 3 against the roof ridge and fastened by means of a nail to be driven through the hole 10 in the sub-roof. The roof batten can then be placed and fixed as described.
The present spacer thus ensures a simple and permanent attachment of the roof battens. In addition, it enables more intensive ventilation of the space between the sub-roof and the roof cladding, as this space is no longer divided by the usual continuous counter battens. The formation of condensation is prevented to a greater extent and any condensation that occurs is eliminated more quickly, which also protects the roof battens.
