Packaging in a semi-rigid material, in particular in plastic material Packaging of the so-called envelope type comprising two valves joined together by an articulation and used for the transport of small articles is already known. They are very thin and have the general shape of a compass box.
The present invention relates to such a packaging in a semi-rigid material, in particular in plastic material, comprising two valves joined by an articulation, characterized in that at least of the two valves of the packaging has on its internal face cleats the arrangement of which is such that they define discontinuous partitions around the item or items to be transported, in contact with the periphery thereof, in particular in the corners, so as to keep them stationary when the packaging is closed.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object according to the present invention and of a variant.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the opened package.
Fig. 2 is a sectional detail illustrating the packaging closure system.
Fig. 3 is a schematic view illustrating the method of opening the package.
Fig. 4 is a partial section of a variant of the open package, illustrating a second method of closing the package.
Fig. 5 is a partial section of this variant, the packaging being closed.
Fig. 6 is a top view of this same variant in the closed position.
The packaging shown comprises two valves, 1 and 2, of generally similar shape, which are joined by a thin strip 3 serving as an articulation. The valves 1 and 2 and the strip 3 are, for example, made of a plastic material and come from one and the same molding.
The valve 1 comprises, on its internal face, tabs 4 which form discontinuous partitions defining, in the case of the drawings, two square housings, 4a and 4b, capable of receiving pockets of corresponding shape containing the articles that one wants. transport. These pockets are held at the angles by angle brackets. Of course, the cleats could have any other shape and form discontinuous partitions conforming to the contours of an object of any type.
The valve 1 has, on its internal face, studs 5 which, when the packaging is closed, are forcibly engaged in hollow housings 6 of the other valve.
It is clear that it suffices to exert a slight pressure with the hand on the appropriate parallel edges of the packaging to deform the semi-rigid material of which it is made, so as to extract the pins 5 from their housings 6 (fig. . 3) to open the box.
It will be noted that all the constituent elements of the packaging, valves, nipples, cleats, etc., can come from a single molding of a plastic material and that it is therefore possible to manufacture a mono box in this way. block, light and inexpensive, in a single operation.
In the variant shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the closure system comprises a tongue 13, articulated by a hinge 14 on the valve 2, relative to which it can thus pivot. A lug 15 protrudes on this tongue and can be force-engaged in a cutout 16 of the valve 1, to ensure the closing of the packaging and the locking thereof in the closed position.
Note the safety of the locking obtained with such a system.
