Anti-slip edge for grating stair treads The invention relates to an anti-slip edge for stairs made of gratings, which grids consist of longitudinal and cross bars.
It is known to provide the edge termination at the entrance edge of stairs with a horizontal leg lying on the grating, which has a grooved surface for the purpose of anti-slip protection. Before you have seen on these legs also grooves in which protruding rubber or plastic transverse strips are held.
While the pure metal securing edges do not fulfill the intended purpose because they are still too smooth even with the appropriate profiling, the known design with inserted strips with a higher coefficient of friction is expensive because experience shows that there is at least one adhesive surface corresponding to the mesh width of the grating stairs the start side should be present.
A plastic or rubber strip in a closed profile and its appropriate attachment to the step edge was therefore considered useful.
The purpose of the invention is achieved by a plastic or rubber strip, on the upper side of which, in a manner known per se, an anti-skid profiling can be provided, which has a profiled head bar with an upper constriction on its underside and can be anchored like a push button with this head bar at corresponding snap-in recesses in the grating is.
In order to avoid a loose fit, it is expedient to form the snap fastener connection by shaping and / or elastic design of the head strip with surface pressing downwards. The elasticity can be achieved, for example, by adding material to the head strip near the constriction and / or a softer setting of the same.
The anti-slide edge according to the invention has the advantage that it can be easily replaced at any time. It is also very advantageous that it can be used with any mesh pitch and can be cut to length from the tape on site as required.
The anti-slip edge profiles can also be produced in the very efficient extrusion process, which is the case with the known plastic supports for gratings with locally distributed anchoring means engaging in the honeycomb fields, e.g. not possible.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing using three embodiments as an example.
Fig. 1 is a grating stair step with fiction according to trained step edge, Fig. 2 a modified embodiment, Fig. 3 a further modification.
In Fig. 1, a grating step is shown diagrammatically. This consists of the rod association made up of the longitudinal rods 1 and the transverse rods 2, which is closed off by the border 3. The arrow a illustrates the initial page. In the first mesh field, an anti-slip arrangement according to the invention is met.
The anti-slip profile 4 consists of the plastic strip 4a grooved on the upper side, which is designed as a push-button strip 4b on the underside, which is pressed into the corresponding recess 2a on the crossbars 2 of the first mesh field like a push-button with wedge surface pressure at 4c, whereby the deposition 2b of the transverse bars 2 is so deep here that the plastic strip 4a protrudes somewhat over the edge 3 and the first longitudinal bar 1.
Pressing in can be done by hand. However, when the head strip circumference is increased compared to the recess, the press-in can also be carried out by machine in order to achieve a firm press fit.
In Fig. 2 a modified form of the push button anchoring is shown in which the push button strip 5b has two constrictions 5c and 5d, behind which: the grating wall. This creates a double snap fastener anchoring. Another type of double anchoring is shown in FIG. The anti-slip strip 6a is U-shaped here with the two legs 6b and 6c, so that the edge rod 3 and the longitudinal rod 1 form the stops for the divided head strip 6b / 6c.
In this profile training, the load moment is increased in an advantageous manner.
